Hi all! 😊

I got my bfp yesterday and although it's super early days (I'm only 12dpo), from looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator, I'd be due 2nd November...
Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone who has recently got their bfps and are due in November-time!

I thought we could use it to discuss how we are feeling, any symptoms/lack of symptoms we have etc. and just a safe place for a chat with people in the same boat!

Congratulations to everyone who have got their bfps and sending lots of sticky baby dust to all! 🤞✨💕

@HannahLouD aw I'm so sorry lovely but if it is a loss then I hope it starts asap for you so you're not in horrible limbo. You are absolutely allowed all the self-pity you want 💕 Sounds like your partner will be looking after you well. Enjoy your take-away and hopefully it won't be too long at all until your sticky bean is here. Lots of love to you xx

Welcome and congrats! Second baby here too due 31st Oct. How old is your first?

Glitterb · 22/02/2023 19:31

Congratulations to the ladies joining us 🤗

I am still in a state of shock! I told my partner this evening and cried my eyes out as I’m so overwhelmed!

How is everyone feeling? I’m exhausted from a sleepless night last night and having mild period type cramps, I’m not sure if this is normal!

33Carr · 22/02/2023 19:37

@Glitterb I've also been having cramping type feelings too, I remember having them with my first too but maybe not this early. It is all fairly normal due to the womb stretching I think.

redo18 · 22/02/2023 19:38

@buckingmad she is two. Going to do a clear blue digital on Friday morning and hope for that 2-3 weeks milestone 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Glitterb · 22/02/2023 19:50

@33Carr that makes sense, thank you for putting my mind at rest! I’ve been having them for about a week on and off, I thought it was my period starting last week but nothing came which made me test.
As I only came off the pill on Christmas day and haven’t had a first period yet, I don’t actually know how far along I am!

33Carr · 22/02/2023 20:00

@Glitterb Yeah it's so tricky when you don't have a starting point to go by! Will you try arranging a early scan or wait for the 12 week dating scan?

Glitterb · 22/02/2023 20:04

@33Carr I know! i am going to leave it a few weeks and then book for an early scan, mainly for peace of mind! I had to fill out a self referral last night and they don’t contact you until your 8 weeks, I’m not sure how accurate the clearblue tests are.

33Carr · 22/02/2023 20:15

@Glitterb Yeah I'm doing the same, also too impatient to wait till 12 weeks 🙈
I think ball-park accurate haha! You can read on the CB website how they work out the weeks by HCG levels and the specificities of the tests, could be useful to distinguish if conception was within the last couple of weeks.

SnookyPook · 22/02/2023 20:36

@redo18 welcome! This is my 2nd too and I also have a 2 year old (boy) ☺️ Should be a nice age gap I think.

@Glitterb yeah I had 'period cramps' too. Was convinced AF was about to start! Still a bit crampy now but not quite as much.

MeganC104 · 22/02/2023 20:40

Hi guys, I had cramping when I found out last week til about Monday. Haven't felt anything since. Testing again tomorrow to check line progression. Got my booking appointment date today but it's not for another month so I have a long wait. Not planning to do an early scan.

This is my second too but my first was a lockdown baby and this already feels like a very different experience.

iGotADilemma · 22/02/2023 23:43

Hi everyone,
So I've been experiencing a bit of brown spotting the last few days. Today there was nothing but I've just been to the toilet and there's a bit of red blood in my underwear with what looks like a teeny tiny clot. I'm panicking a little bit. I'm not having cramps or anything. Just feeling exhausted and a little dizzy. Should I be worried? Is it normal to bleed in early pregnancy?

Mummy1502 · 23/02/2023 06:03

Still no sign of af, it’s nice reading all your comments as you’ve all been feeling crampy too so seems normal, felt crampy when I woke up too, all I had was a tiny bit of light pink when I wiped yesterday morning and then 2 small brownish dots in a pad, af was either due yesterday or today, I’m out of p tests so gonna leave it a couple of days and hopefully get a positive on a digital not just a frer x

Mummy1502 · 23/02/2023 10:00

Clearblue digital says not pregnant so not sure what’s going on would have thought my hcg levels would be high enough by now at 14dpo and af due today x

Did you use first urine? Fingers crossed for you!

How is everyone getting on, I think a few AFs were due today?

I had really bad pains this morning like bad period cramps, made me feel very nauseous. Didn't really feel cramps after boobs still slightly tender. Fast forward a couple of hours, cramps back and boobs still tender. No sign of blood!

Mummy1502 · 23/02/2023 10:22

@MrsFoster Second urine as had no tests indoors first thing x

Mummy1502 · 23/02/2023 10:29

I know you shouldn’t but I took the digital apart after having several positive frers, I was looking online at what lines should be there etc and that would mean mine is a positive so maybe it’s just not strong enough yet? I have attached pictures, the first one is my test, the other 2 are from the internet, feel like I’m driving myself mad x

I'd say it looks similar to the 1-2 weeks? X

Mummy1502 · 23/02/2023 10:35

@MrsFoster thats what I thought x

Glitterb · 23/02/2023 10:40

@MrsFoster I still have slight cramping (mainly when I’m sat at my desk annoyingly at work) and I’m so bloated!

@Mummy1502 could you take a normal test and not a clearblue digital? I just bought the boots tests which came up positive before buying a clearblue, I know these are quite common for not picking up early early positives and they are so expensive as well.

Mummy1502 · 23/02/2023 10:42

@Glitterb will get some today, my local tesco havnt got any of their cheapie tests only clearblue, might try Superdrug, boots or local chemist x

Mummy1502 · 23/02/2023 10:44

I’m starting to worry that maybe my hcg just isn’t progressing like it should x

TaTaForNow · 23/02/2023 10:47

After the small light pink blood, and brown mucus yesterday (separate times) I am having very mild what feels like cramping.

still testing positive, although yesterdays and Tuesdays was weaker than Monday when I first tested.

AF was supposed to arrive yesterday, assuming a 28 day cycle, but still so anxious because of the small amount of light pink and brown mucus.

going to try and hold out till Sunday before testing again.

Glitterb · 23/02/2023 10:56

@Mummy1502 definitely get some of the cheaper tests and try with first wee or mid afternoon wee. I wouldn’t advise to keep testing though, it will end up upsetting you and causing anxiety. Are you usually very regular with your period?
