Hi all! 😊

I got my bfp yesterday and although it's super early days (I'm only 12dpo), from looking at the NHS pregnancy calculator, I'd be due 2nd November...
Just thought I'd make this thread for anyone who has recently got their bfps and are due in November-time!

I thought we could use it to discuss how we are feeling, any symptoms/lack of symptoms we have etc. and just a safe place for a chat with people in the same boat!

Congratulations to everyone who have got their bfps and sending lots of sticky baby dust to all! 🤞✨💕

if AF doesnt turn up today then definitely test again on a cheaper test, let us all know how you get on!

Mummy1502 · 23/02/2023 11:02

@Glitterb will do x

HannahLouD · 23/02/2023 12:00

Well... After starting this thread, I'm now going to be leaving it 😞
Absolutely no line progression for the last 3 days...
Just want to bleed now so we can start trying again.
Lots of love and sticky dust to all x

Sending love, here is to next month. X

@HannahLouD I'm so sorry x

Mummy1502 · 23/02/2023 13:11

@HannahLouD is that too to bottom? Mine are still faint also so feel like mine aren’t progressing, I remember with my first babies I probably only tested once or twice and just left it as that and now I’m wanting to wee on them everyday to see progression, I wouldn’t give up hope with yours as they still look strong x

It is top to bottom, yes... I know they're still fairly strong but they're not progressing at all. I've obsessively googled and I've not once ever seen a positive outcome with stalled line progression. So I'm giving up hope now because having this tiny glimmer is worse than just accepting knowing what's going to happen. Just wish they would start to fade and I would start to bleed soon so I can just try to forget.
I'm the same as you as well, tested like, twice with my first and then just assumed all would be ok... X

@HannahLouD oh no that will make me worry now lol as mine are still faint x

Mummy1502 · 23/02/2023 13:26

its positive! With an afternoon wee too, third one of the day x

@HannahLouD i still think there’s hope, you’ve got some strong lines, sending hugs, keep us updated, would love to hear good news from you x

MeganC104 · 23/02/2023 13:59

Mine were faint for ages and today is my first strong one. I'm 17dpo I think. I'm going to wait for my first dye stealer and then move to the CB how many weeks ones. I'm testing every 2 days because there wasn't much progrssion day to day.

@Mummy1502 congrats. It really felt really real after my first digital.

Mummy1502 · 23/02/2023 14:03

@MeganC104 thats how i feel, I have the normal clearblue digital with weeks indicator which il do in a few days just to see if it’s progressing x

Mine haven't progressed at all for 2 days... Have yours done that at all? I don't know why I'm still trying to hold onto hope here 🙄
Congrats btw!x

@HannahLouD thankyou, will try the weeks indicator one in a few days to see if it’s progressing then after that I will stop testing x

UnwieldyRhombus · 23/02/2023 15:49

Hi everyone! Had a happy surprise realising I could see something on a cheap test stick, so I used a Clearblue early test and then a digital ultra early test.

Cautiously happy, only 9DPO so a bit nervous. I have a 3.5 year old and have been trying for a second for a few cycles. I've never tested this early before so not sure what to expect. Will try to hold off testing again until the day of my expected period to avoid fixating and so I don't blow my savings on expensive digital tests!!

If all goes well, due date should be around 7th November. I think I might have ovulated slightly earlier than expected, so a scan would maybe put it a bit earlier, but then I went to 42 weeks with my first so could well end up later...

@HannahLouD Oh no, I hope it's all ok. FWIW, mine didn't get stronger with my first until I was a solid 5 or 6 weeks along.

Oh really? Did it stay exactly the same the whole time? Because I've never ever read a positive outcome story of that happening! I'm going to test one more time tomorrow morning and if there's still no progress I'm just going to accept it's probably not viable and wait to bleed...

Also... Congrats! Defo a good idea not obsessively testing... I've driven myself completely mad! x

@HannahLouD I can't find my progression pictures from the last pregnancy but I remember it seeming the same but I did have the digital one change from 'pregnant 2-3' at 4 weeks to 'pregnant 3+' at 6 weeks (iirc those are the weeks since conception, right, not weeks of pregnancy?) so I would suggest confirming with a digital one with the weeks indicator in about a week maybe? I'm sorry you're going through this and fingers crossed everything turns out ok ❤️

Haha, I know the feeling, my husband saw how many tests I'd taken and declared 'you are BANNED from taking tests' 😂

If these are in order, top to bottom, could it just be a variation in how much you've drank the night before?
Mine only have extremely slight differences now. I also have quite a lot of cramping which is a bit worrying but I'm trying to keep my mind busy.
I have my fingers crossed for you 🤞

Mine has no idea how much they cost but I think he'd have a heart attack if he ever worked out how much I've spent on them 🤣

They are in that order yes, thank you for the positive vibes 😊 but I'm pretty sure that it's a chemical... Like a loon I've massively limited my liquid intake from late afternoon after getting my first bfp so that my wee would be super concentrated in the morning (which I know is really dumb 🙄😅) so it can't be that.
I'm going to use my like frer in the morning and if there's still no progression I'm just going to stop testing and inevitably wait to bleed.
I absolutely cannot spend any more money on tests for a pregnancy that probably isn't viable... It's mad!
Pregnancy test industry is defo the place to be! 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Got my fingers crossed for you too!! 🤞✨X

Thank you for the reply 😊 I guess I'll know tomorrow.. if no progression then, that'll be 3 days of the same line darkness and I think I'll be safe to assume after that... x
