We all seem to be busy today - I'm panicking a bit about being behind at work tbh. Then at lunch I've got that zoom call with OHs mum to tell her I'm up the duff. I also need to pack my bags as straight after work we'll drive up to Lincolnshire to FILs before we head to a friend's birthday shoot tomorrow. I just can't be arsed...

Funnily enough FIL suggested to OH that OH can go to the shoot himself and FIL will drive me to our hotel in Peterborough in the afternoon?? Sounds like he wants to spend the day with his progeny's incubator 😆.

@Juno231 does FIL know then and his mum not (are they separated?) why can't DH tell his mum? If you don't want to stand outside all day then def don't go to the shoot! Yeyyyyy for the last shooting day of the season tomorrow 🥳
Def need some of those yellow hearts to be blue ones! Otherwise the bus will get a girly reputation 😂

Ive decided I'm having a boy @Juno231 @Minster2012 so maybe should have gone for a green heart? I suppose that might have looked like I was having a leprechaun and that won't happen, I'm expecting another big baby like DS!

I've been feeling the baby move/kick a lot more this week, which has been great - even managed to get DH to feel it as well! but baby seems to be favouring one particular spot in my stomach and it's really becoming annoying now - anyone else get that??

@whatwonder my girl is ALWAYS on my right side and in fact I'm bulging more on that side I look a bit weird! But I do have another scar that side so maybe that's pulling the skin??

Having said a busy day here I'm obviously still procrastinating 😂

Ditto on the behind at work, it's mad at the moment.

We had a Health Visitor come yesterday (apparently it's new in our region that when they're 4 that they come to make sure they're ready for school like not still in nappies etc 🙈) the lady was lovely but do they ever bloody give up with these percentile charts? I battled with them all through her being a baby as her heart defect made it hard for her to put on weight as she used up so much energy pumping extra blood round her body. She's slightly below average height (I'm 5ft) but low weight apparently so she needs to speak to the senior health visitor? She could eat for England, will eat literally anything and everything, cannot walk anywhere (she has to run) is always on the go and clearly has a better metabolism than me! She's a lean little thing and certainly not underweight, doesn't need to be plotted on a fricking chart 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Minster2012 procrastination is a part of my identity at this point 😆. Yeah so OH told his dad at Christmas and then just refused to tell his mum until either the 12 week scan/NIPT results came back. She lives in Saudi so it's not like he sees her often and I think he's found the idea of telling her quite awkward.

@Minster2012 it's weird that they're so early isn't it!! I really didn't expect the anaesthetic appointment until I was at least 20 weeks maybe even further!! 3 sizes bigger!! I wish mine had grown!! I feel like they look exactly the same!! OH said my nipples are a bit puffy but I don't think they've changed at all! Blue nipples😂😂 smurf nips! Glad your doggo's better today, mine is too!!

@paintfairy hahaha a conveyancing solicitor or plasterer definitely seems the way forward, I mean you'd save yourself a lot of hassle and stress?? Your DH definitely knows how to hold his pickle, my OH couldn't keep it in for much longer, he tells everyone now, he told the post man the other day😂😂

@Juno231 definitely jealous of you all going up a cup size! But to be fair I can't remember the last time I wore a proper bra😂 I've been living in sports bras for weeks!! Maybe I should try my proper bra and see!! You do have a busy weekend planned, hope you have fun though!!

I am triumphant this morning because TSD (clingy fucker to add to his many sins) napped in his cot this morning HALLELUJAH and I even had a cuppa in peace 🙌🏻 I'm wondering if it was the lunchtime pint that helped??? Must try again to verify...

On the other hand, I do feel marginally sorry for the wee blurt because he's so bunged up he keeps having to stop BFing to breathe 😂🙈 olbas oil on a wet flannel on the radiator working a treat while we wait for the magic calpol smelly thing to arrive and sort out all our problems 🤞🏻

Say what @bez91 there's a 4 year old check??? And that's crazy cos there is so much difference between kids and yet they are all fine?? DS is literally 3.5 years & yet 107cm which is usual for 4-5 year olds. Our nephew turned 5 in nov & DS was at his party & you honestly wouldn't have thought he wasn't the same year. Are they meant to be out of nighttime nappies?? DS still way off that & I keep being told it's hormonal

You def need to repeat that experiment regularly @Kate105 to try spot a pint to nap correlation, and boom for nap in cot and hot ☕️

Just watched 22nd DS and counting & omg it said about lockdown. Can you IMAGINE lockdown in a house of like 15/16 kids 🙈

@Minster2012 pre covid we saw her maybe once a year but we've only seen her once since 2019 now (the wedding we went to in Nov - where baby girl got conceived lol). OH doesn't like her much so it makes sense he told his dad first.

@Vil10 yes try your regular bra! You might be in for a surprise

@bez91 yeah I wouldn't expect them to stray from their charts/apply common sense - they're probably terrified of ending up in trouble one day if it turns out you were abusing her!

@Minster2012 scan is on the 10th, I'll be 13+3, they can't get me in any earlier as there is a sonographer shortage 😩 so I'm worrying I may be late or cutting it fine with the screening scan but only time will tell I'll just be happy to be assured that Little bub is fine and growing and there's a heartbeat again, anything else is a bonus 🥺❤️🤞🏻

Officially down to the last pair of jeans I can wear comfortably without being too tight or occluding 👀 the bloat is real!

Oh how ridiculous @bez91 - she's clearly just destined to be petite which is OK as adults are all different sizes! If you're only 5ft then it's hardly a surprise.

He was 9lb born @Juno231 and long with it. Massive legs, even as a baby looked quite silly in leggings. He's 2.6 now and some 3-4 stuff is looking a bit right/short on him. I'm 5ft 11 and DH is 6ft so it's not really a surprise! DS has two cousins and is tracking the same as the 6yo boy who is bigger than his 8yo sister.

I feel the same @kaylsd despite having had a reassurance scan yesterday. Any chance of a slipping into a side room and ultra sounding yourself?!

Excellent news @Kate105, it's massive when you can get them to nap in a different room without you! I was very relieved to wave DS off to nursery today as he's been such hard work the last day or so - I often skive off early and pick him up about 4 on a Friday. Not today, he can stay until 5!

Had a meeting cancelled so have had nap and will gym. If the queue isn't too bad I'm going to get a MacDonalds on the way home!

@kaylsd try not to worry about the screening, I'm sure they say up to 14 weeks is fine for the screening! And apparently it's extremely common for them to not get the measurement even if you are within the right time frame (I asked this when they couldn't get mine, and they said it's so so common) so don't worry if they can't get it, I know that's easy to say when I was worrying like mad😂😂

@Kate105 they asked how movements were and I said I've had a couple of periods where she's been quiet the last couple of days and my midwife has said to keep a close eye and that it's an IVF pregnancy so I'm extra anxious haha. I've also asked my midwife if I can come in for another sweep today and a brutal one so if I bleed I get fast tracked over there haha! She's checking the diary to see if she can squeeze me in 😎 I TSD is going to turn into a sleep angel in time 💙

@larrythelizard I’ve thought about going to a room at work and using the bladder scanner to see if that can pick up anything other than my bladder which I do believe is the size of a pea these days because the toilet is my best friend 🤣🤣🤣 partial to a McDonald’s! What’s your choice of meal 😋
@vil10 I’m there with you girl but least we are all in the same boat together which makes me feel normal 🤣 it just feels too long to wait but I’m sure it’ll be here before you know it! How’s the house front coming along?

I was going to have a large McChicken Sandwich meal @kaylsd and thought I was in when I couldn't see a big queue...bloody drive through was shut!!! Couldn't be arsed to go in so tuna wrap for lunch for me, not quite the same!

@larrythelizard oh that's so disappointing! Did you see they're launching a chicken version of the big Mac? No idea when though.

As we're driving for 3 hours after work today I'm hoping there's a McDonald's in my near future 😅. I'm a Big Mac girl through and through though.

@kaylsd ooh yes we've already run out of ozark so are watching the sinner this week. I didn't like the last season but so far this one is a lot better I think!

With my 2nd there was someone on my word that just didn't shut up I nearly smothered her🤣thankfully I was out within hours of birth so only there between the morning hours of 4 till noon

@larrythelizard the tuna wrap just wouldn’t cut it for me it’s like a love story film where they don’t get together at the end 😭🤣 maybe McDonald’s later or order it in? We don’t have McDonald’s on just eat or anything like that as we live too far away from one so we always have to do a drive if we fancy it

@juno231 with you there girl on the Big Mac & I like a share box of nugs / mozzarella dippers when they are on 😋 making me fancy one now instead of my jacket potato and salad 😢 so far so good with the sinner! Think you’ll enjoy it :) I tried watching ozark but couldn’t get into it 🙈

I'm limited as I can't do dairy or egg whites @Juno231. Considered driving to BK for a whopper but there's roadworks on that road which we're annoying.

I know a tuna wrap was not the same @kaylsd. We ordered a dim sum box from a company online for this weekend and might go out for pizza. Not McDonalds but enough rubbish food!
