@larrythelizard @bez91 I reckon I'm 💚 too. 🤣
@kaylsd I have nightmares too. I actually dreamt last night I was bleeding really bad? Ffs. Noticed the sinner was back when I was flicking Wednesday night! And it's maybe not bloat now- might be baby? I've struggled since 10 weeks to get my usual jeans on (couldn't now). But none of my clothes were roomy anyway.
@larrythelizard I would have refused to come home with no McDonald's! 🤬
@Juno231 I have spent over 4 hours driving today and I think I'm vibrating. 🤣 I've felt ok all day but then just before getting home i started to feel funny. Like wobbly inside? Really struggling to find motivation to go out......

Minster2012 · 28/01/2022 18:23

Ok so I come to look after a busy day just before I head over friends & the first thing I see is @paintfairy saying "I think I'm vibrating"
😂😂😂

Haiyaa · 28/01/2022 20:19

Thank you driver! Hope you managed to get food sorted @larrythelizard! My Macca’s order is quarter pounder with cheese (classic) fries and whatever breaded cheese is on the menu! Not much good for your dairy allergy though!

Come on baby @Crazydoglady123! Can’t believe they are keeping you hanging on!

Don’t worry about the jeans @paintfairy, I reckon I’ve been in maternity clothes since around 10 weeks this time so you’re doing pretty well!

Tonight was supposed to be our last family of three treat night before isolating for the section. Booked to see Sing 2 then to a Brazilian Rodizio restaurant for dinner. Precisely 30 minutes before the end of the film DD decides to throw up everywhere 🤦🏻‍♀️ so back home covered in sick for bath and bed. Getting a takeaway but it’s going to be aaaaaages before it gets here and it’s curry so I probably won’t sleep for all the heartburn it will give me 😭 I know IABU but I am absolutely gutted 😭

bez91 · 29/01/2022 06:58

@Minster2012 she just asked if she could take herself to the toilet in the day and if she ever had accidents so I doubt nighttime is an issue 😊

@Vil10 no boob growth here either, just nipple growth and very much smurf puffy nips like @Minster2012 😆

I'm a chicken girl so all the nuggets or McChicken Sandwich meal. I had cravings early on all the time for McDonald's hot chocolate.

@paintfairy oh don't worry about the clothes! Snap like @Haiyaa I was in Mat stuff from 10 weeks too 😂! @Haiyaa that's gutting, you're not BU. I'd be gutted too especially when it was your last planned night before baby is here. Hope DD is ok now and you managed to sleep with no heartburn!

Vil10 · 29/01/2022 07:17

@kaylsd absolutely!! It really will, these next few weeks will fly by! Hmm nothing really, there seems to be a lot more houses coming up just not in the right area and we have been told a lot that beginning of feb there'll be a lot so just hoping for thst really! We have seen a house but it's quite a bit out of our budget but it's been on since November so OH is hoping they'll reduce it soon and we can go in with a cheeky offer but not getting any hopes up on that!! Ohhh ironing is just the worst!!

@Lexber omg you're nearly there!! Shits getting real!! It's so sweet isn't it, something just feels so special and sentimental about them!! I'm glad you get to see the babies all the time now, how exciting! Had your appointment come through?

@Juno231 did you get the McDonald's?? I've seen the chicken Big Mac being advertised and I can't wait to try it!! I massively craved McDonald's fries in the first 10 weeks, think it was the salt!

@Haiyaa ohhh no!! I'd have been gutted too! But I hope DD is okay now? At least you got to see majority of the film..😂

@bez91 I keep getting strange visions of smurf blue nips🤔😂

Quiet weekend for me, OH is working this weekend so I said I'd started sorting through all the freezer and the spice/jar cupboard, getting rid and packing up! I also really want a look in Sainsbury's, a woman at work said they had some really cute baby stuff in and I just can't help myself! Then off to both grandparents tomorrow, even though I see my grandma everyday I still haven't told her I'm pregnant, she's got dementia and Alzheimer's and she's quite bad so if I was to tell her on my own it would be a huge gush of info for her and she wouldn't process it and she'd get confused so I've been waiting for my parents to come back from their holiday so my dad can come with me, thinking if there's another familiar face there it might help, and she can also ring him as well if she forgets who's pregnant😂 my mums doing a roast for us all tomorrow evening though which I can't wait for!! The whole clan, my sister and her partner too but sadly my OH will have to sit there eating his own tea because of the plan he's on, he'll be devastated when my mum pulls out the sticky toffee pudding after😂

Minster2012 · 29/01/2022 08:15

Oh my god I'm so tired. Went over to friends last night (with X) and then x and I came home at 9.15 he was knackered. I then fell asleep then DH came in later & woke me up wanting a chat 😩bed late so late morning right??

Nope, pre 6 X was up. DH out again today. I'm literally a zombie Send help.

MacDonalds I'm all about the chicken fillet.

@bez91 that's reassuring on the nighttime nappy thank you.

@Juno231 is it today for telling his mum or yesterday?

@Crazydoglady123 Come on little lady!!

@Haiyaa final countdown! Hope you s got nice things for isolation time this weekend

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

larrythelizard · 29/01/2022 08:29

Ah man he is well into his plan isn't he @Vil10?! That is impressive willpower - when dieting I always need a cheat day! Sounds like a nice chilled weekend.

Oh no @Haiyaa that's just typical small child behaviour! Hopefully a random one off vomit attack and not a bug. Hope the curry was nice and no heartburn.

Have you stopped vibrating now @paintfairy?!

I would not be happy with DH if he did that @Minster2012 - DH popped upstairs to rescue DS from between his bed and his bed guard (again) and then somehow crept into our room to say goodnight just as I was drifting off and I jumped out of my skin! Easy couple of hours at some point in front of the TV?

Got quite a nice day planned with out for lunch for burgers (DH thinks this is a good replacement for MacDonalds but the need for a MacDonalds is quite different to a naice burger place!) and then to a place with a load of snowdrops

OP posts:
Minster2012 · 29/01/2022 09:04

I'm afraid I'm being a shit mum already been vegging watching tv for couple of hours. My brain has gone away for the weekend @larrythelizard there's a lot of difference between fast food craving & posh burger!

feliznavidad2 · 29/01/2022 09:30

@Minster2012 team shit mum 👊

Make him swing by Maccy D's on the way home @larrythelizard Grin

larrythelizard · 29/01/2022 09:37

Definitely TV for the win (TV does not = shit mum, TV = sensible mum so you can recharge and do fun things later) @Minster2012

OP posts:
paintfairy · 29/01/2022 10:20

@Minster2012 ah, it wasn't good vibrating! 🤣 Actually once I drove to Cornwall and back in a day. I think my arms were vibrating for 2 days! 🤭 @larrythelizard yes it's stopped now! And I love posh burgers but no, it won't fix a McDonald's craving. My DH isn't a fan of McDonald's so I struggle to get him to understand too.
@Haiyaa I like the cheese dipper things. Gutting about the meal out! Its just bloody jeans that are an issue. I'm definitely even fatter now though @bez91
@Vil10 I did too. Its definitely the salt! Could eat it now mind.....

So- I went out last night. Food was ace. Wore a (floaty) dress. Boobs (bigger) held it out enough that you couldn't see my belly. As long as i stood straight and breathed in. 🤣 Great- would be sat at a table all night and arriving with a coat on anyway. What I hadn't tried was sitting down in it. The table wasn't very high and the minute I sat i looked down and thought - shit. 🤣 So I spent the whole time leaning on the table with my arms in front of me and sat at funny angles. I know you are far more conscious of it than anyone else and likely no one would have paid attention. But I didn't want to risk it. Awkward
Then they were trying to get me to bloody dance. Definitely couldn't do that....... I don't think I can hide it much longer. But luckily I don't think I'm going anywhere decent again in the next few weeks and by then it'll not matter.

Vil10 · 29/01/2022 11:20

@Minster2012 oh god I'm not surprised you're tired!! Why do men always do that!! OH was up at 6 for work and started singing to me whilst I was asleep and then eventually i woke up!

@larrythelizard he really is!! I always need a cheat day too but he hasn't had 1!! He's fully stuck to it, I'm impressed!! Ooo day out sounds lovely, love a good burger!!

@paintfairy I might actually have to get some today! Ahhh mannn I hate when that happens😂 you just look down like shit my boobs are out!! But you're right, you definitely notice it more when it's your boobs and others probably wouldn't have noticed!! Good job on hiding it though!!

So I've had my letter through for this mystery appointment I got on the app, it doesn't say why and what for, just says the woman's name and then asks me to bring a sample? I mean I know I have to take a sample to all my check ups with my midwife but didn't know I'd have to for others as well? Especially if this appointment is an anaesthetic one like I'm thinking it is?

bez91 · 29/01/2022 11:23

@Vil10 ahh that's lovely with your grandma. I hope she takes it all in ❤️ Me telling my nana was one of my favourite memories from DDs pregnancy, she was blind as a bat and pretended she wasn't 😆 so when I showed her the scan photo to tell her she was like oh lovely, then asked me and my grandad "what is it my duck?" She'd also never seen an ultrasound as they didn't have them in her day 😆 I video'd it and always watch it as she died a few weeks before DD was born. The roast sounds 👌🏼 your OH is missing out 😋 I would not have his willpower 💪🏼

Urgggh that sounds hellish @Minster2012 definitely not bad mum, some days are about surviving and that's better for him in the long run for when you're back on top form!

@paintfairy vibrating 😂 I remember that sensation after going on a coach to Paris for 2 days when I was a kid, felt like I was on it for another 2 weeks afterward! Oh no error of not attempting to sit in it previously 😆 just be casual and drop it in conversation with people. Loads of people said to me they had their suspicions but didn't know if I'd just put on weight 🤦🏼‍♀️

DH in the good books, got the best 🍆 last night. I just find it so so uncomfortable 😆 i don't remember it being like this last time but my belly is so big and hard and immoveable. The Braxton hicks mid way through also weren't ideal 😂 but he bought me chocolates this morning and is now building furniture whilst I take DD to soft play 😊

Crazydoglady123 · 29/01/2022 13:55

Hey ladies, so I got the call a little after 4pm yesterday to say I could go in. Got there and was told labour ward was really busy and they would break my waters tomorrow (now today) so I went to sleep about 11pm ish. Woke up at 11.30 to my waters trickling out naturally. Was taken down to labour ward at 4pm and apparently it was only my fore waters so they broke the main lot and gave me two hours to progress naturally which they didn't really do anything the major so I was put on the drip at 7am and the contractions started thick and fast. I needed the toilet so I tried to go but there was too much pressure to go and it felt better standing up so I stood for labour leaning on the bed. It got to about 8.30am and I said I needed gas and air and then by 9am I had the urge to push. The midwife I had was lovely and experienced and I didn't get examined or poked around and she just let me follow what my body wanted to do so I pushed and delivered her at 9.31am standing up and felt so in control with the gas and air and listening to my body. Everyone meet Mila 💗 8lb 5oz

Ltay2 · 29/01/2022 18:50

Wowww what a way to end my mammoth catch up, congratulations @Crazydoglady123 Mila is gorgeous! Hope you are both doing well ❤️

Reading through all of this thread makes me miss pregnancy so much, I think I've blocked out the crap parts, the carpel tunnel, the pre eclampsia, etc 😂 I miss all the excitement and the waiting for everyone else's babies to arrive and see what they're called!

My cheeky boy is now 10.5 months (can't believe I nearly have a 1 year old 😭), he can now pull himself up although just does the splits and whinges because he can't get back down 😂, shoots off like a cheetah when he's crawling and has just discovered the joy of the stairs so stair gate well and truly required now! He's got 4 well established teeth and another 2 just poking through. Chewing on absolutely everything in his bath and generally getting cheekier yet more loving by the day ❤️ we have also started the milk ladder to challenge his allergy and only up to stage 2 but so far so good!
