Hi can i join?

I found out on Monday and I think i'm 4 weeks but my tests have been quite strong and i got 2-3 weeks on a CB digi yesterday so i may have ovulated earlier i suppose.

Very nervous as had a MC in June 2020 so keeping everything crossed this is our rainbow xxx

beckyBP · 14/01/2021 14:34

@unicornpower of course you can. Congratulations it's so strange isnt it. Have you had any symptoms?

So sorry to hear about your mc. That must have been horrific xx

I also found out I'm pregnant on Monday, after 14 months of trying!! Over the moon and due on 19th September Grin

meganlea · 14/01/2021 14:44

@beckyBP good idea!! I tried to join the other one but it was a bit manic!!

4 + 3 today, going by my ovulation day, but midwife has put me down as 5 + 5 going from the start of my last period. She said they’d only change it from my first scan. Which is good because it means they’ve put me a week ahead and I’ll get a slightly earlier scan I suppose!!

Got up 4/5 times through the night to wee. Boobs feel heavier and are a bit sore but could easily be mistaken for pre AF! Lots of weird goings on in my tummy, it doesn’t hurt just feels odd. But other than that, no symptoms no cravings no nausea. Thanking my lucky stars atm but I know it’s still VERY early days!

What symptoms are you guys having so far? Xx

Lonzo53 · 14/01/2021 14:45

Hey I'm completely new to this but saw your message. I just found out this week too and my due date is the same 19th Sep !!

How are you feeling ?

beckyBP · 14/01/2021 14:49

@Morrighanan wow amazing! Congrats girl. I'm also due on the 19th!!

@meganlea I tried that one too but just couldn't keep up. Ooo yeah defo good they've put you slightly ahead! Scan time can't come soon enough!

I'm pretty much the same. Tender boobs, achy in general and almost cramp like feelings in my tummy but not painful at all!

@Lonzo53 ah congratulations! Another 19th September!! I'm good thanks how are you getting on?? Xx

meganlea · 14/01/2021 14:58

Congratulations guys @unicornpower @Morrighanan @Lonzo53!!

Hopefully we'll all be in this together. If you haven't joined already there's a small but very supportive and friendly FB group where people are all due the same month as us and many 2nd and 3rd time mothers there too to help answer Q's and concerns, I only joined this week but already posted and got so much support and help. www.facebook.com/groups/3617613634987322/?ref=share xxx

I'm just so excited to meet my baby already but I know we've got the longest journey ahead and I am just praying for a healthy baby!! Anyone else having a private scan??, I'm going to book in at 8 and a half weeks I can get one near me for £59 and by 8 weeks they're supposed to have their heartbeat by then which is why I'm waiting until then.

eihpos82 · 14/01/2021 16:19

Hi all, just hit 5 weeks today after ttc for 14 months for our 1st. Due 16th Sept! Really hoping little one sticks around so scared of mc due to me being 39. Not getting any symptoms apart from sore boobs yet - anyone else? Smile

unicornpower · 14/01/2021 16:41

Thanks so much @beckyBP and @meganlea! Im not having many symptoms to be honest! I've got a few mild cramps and I had some IB on Sunday/Monday and I have awful gas 🤣 how about everyone else?

I think im due around 22nd September! I am 100% having a private scan if all seems well, i never got that far last time so it'll be a big win if I do.

How long has everyone been trying? We are 14 months in so feeling very lucky!

bluemagicalsky · 14/01/2021 17:22

Hi Ladies and congratulations! Thanks so much for creating this new thread @beckyBP
I am 27, 4 + 4, due 19th Sept. It seems like we really are all so close together! This was our 3rd month of TTC, so I'm feeling super grateful to be here.
Not having crazy symptoms yet. Off and on sore boobs and bouts of dizziness mainly for me so far.
I've had 2 positive FRERs with good line progression. That's enough testing for me as the anxiety and stress is too much. Had a CP last cycle.
Easier said than done, but I'm going to try and trust the process and wait for that 12 week NHS scan 🤞🏼 Desperate for them to call me back from the self referral already 😂
Excited to share this journey with you all xx

bluemagicalsky · 14/01/2021 17:54

Also which pregnancy app is everyone going to use? And does anyone listen to any pregnancy podcasts that you recommend? I love Birth Stories with Clemmie Hooper but she isn't doing them anymore, but lots of good listens there if you haven't already xx

beckyBP · 14/01/2021 18:09

@meganlea I'm considering a private. Just checking out some places around me.

Hi @eihpos82 congratulations!! My only symptoms are sore boobs and mild cramps on and off!

@unicornpower we were trying for 6 months but honestly it felt like so much longer!

@bluemagicalsky yay you joined us. I've got pregnancy+ I showed my fiancé a picture of what the baby looks like currently.. his face was a picture 😂😂 oo would love to hear any podcasts if anyone had any suggestions xx

I also got my proper BFP on monday! I'll be 5weeks tomorrow due september 17th. I've had some very pale spotting occasionally when I wipe since last night and it's sent me on edge! When do you all have your midwife appointments? I got in touch with mine and they're not doing an appointment till 1st february and even then its just going to be a telephone call! :( No idea when I'll be getting seen face to face so Im thinking about having a private scan first week of feb x

beckyBP · 14/01/2021 19:21

@sept2021 aw sorry to hear that doll, thats stressful.
I have to send a form off when I'm 6 weeks and then the midwife will arrange a call which apparently I have to allow an hour for.

Does anyone know if partners are still allowed to scans? If not I'm definitely getting a private one. Don't want him missing out xx

Chica1990 · 14/01/2021 19:28

Congrats everyone! I’ve been TTC since July 2019 and had an ectopic in October. I got my bfp on weds (6th) after all this time! I’ll be 5 weeks tomorrow and due 17th sept if I’m going by my last period. Basically the same as you @sept2021

Due to my ectopic they want me to come in for an early scan before the end of the 6 weeks to make sure everything’s in the right place. If they can’t see anything due to it being early I’m definitely going to get a private one. I’ve felt really tired in the evenings the past couple of nights. Today DH said my nipples look different, my boobs look full and the veins are more prominent 😂

I know the trying for 12 months mark is difficult so glad to see people here finally got a positive! Is anyone anxious about things going wrong? I feel like I’m walking the edge of a cliff

Maurice76 · 14/01/2021 19:40

Hi ladies! Congratulations to you all 💖

Please can I join? I also got my BFP on Monday - was really surprised as was only 9/10DPO and it was really dark, and I had a dye stealer today 😳😆 You should have seen my partner’s face when I told him that meant it could be twins 😂😂😂

Very lucky to have conceived on just my 2nd cycle. Think we’re 4 weeks today. Our due date is 24th Sept.

I am now doing my best not to think of every conceivable thing going wrong... I have been looking at YouTube videos of the development of an embryo - its fascinating!

NommyChompers · 14/01/2021 20:07

Can I join? Just got BFP for baby 1 after 6 months trying - zero symptoms yet! Due Sep 17th

beckyBP · 14/01/2021 20:49

@Chica1990 hey doll! Congratulations! So sorry to hear about your ectopic. Hopefully your scan will come around quickly and it will put your mind at ease. I'm anxious about things going wrong but I'm trying to put that to the back of my head and enjoy it!

@Maurice76 congratulations!! Eek twins! Imagine! It really is fascinating. I said to the gp. I now know all the ins and out about TTC and haven't got the first idea about pregnancy! 😂🙈

@NommyChompers of course you can! Congratulations 👏🏽👏🏽 I've heard the symptoms kick in about 6 weeks!

Lonzo53 · 14/01/2021 21:37

Thank you for letting me know about the fb group, I've now joined. Really can't wait to start talking to you all and going on this journey together.... very excited and nervous!!

I've not heard of an 8.5wk scan, will look into this.

NommyChompers · 14/01/2021 21:37

Haha - I totally relate to knowing everything about TTC and nothing about pregnancy - I have endometriosis so never let myself plan past this point. It’s so nerve racking in the early stages isn’t it?! Trying not to get too excited and also having mild cramps spotting but told that can be normal or abnormal and too soon to tell...

beckyBP · 14/01/2021 21:44

I've just joined the group too @meganlea 😬

Yeah same too @Lonzo53 so nice to be able to share this!

@NommyChompers that's amazing. Good for you!! It really is nerve wrecking! Any feeing I get I google it. Xx

JenA82 · 14/01/2021 21:48

Hello!! Congratulations everyone 🥳 I found out yesterday about 4 week due 20/09 😬

I’ve just got really heavy boobs (joy) and getting the odd bit of cramps (apparently this is normal?!)

X

Olinguita · 15/01/2021 01:32

Hey, can I join? Just got my BFP on Tuesday after 7ish months of trying. Feeling relieved and delighted to have got to this stage but not celebrating too much just yet. I'm 37 and it's my first. Boobs are sore and have some odd tummy twinges, feeling tired yet struggling to sleep (hence why, erm, I'm on MN at this ungodly hour). I guess I'd be due around Sept 20. Congratulations to all on the thread

meganlea · 15/01/2021 06:53

Hey all!

@beckyBP @Lonzo53 yeyy! You’ll both love it!

I think there’s a lot of us due around the 17th which is brilliant because we can compare symptoms etc every step of the way!

First booking appointment with the midwife on 4th Feb...can’t wait for that she said it will be over the phone but then she’ll see me in person when I come in for my bloods and stuff it just won’t be a full hour in person to minimise contact I think.

@Maurice76 I’m definitely going to check out the YouTube videos!
