Due April 2019 - How're you feeling?

Hi there 😀 decided to make this to chat to other Mums due this month.

I'm due on the 21st (Easter Sunday!) but I can't help shifting the feeling he'll be here earlier.

Anyone had false labours yet? I get bad for about 3 hours then it fades away - it's happened to me twice now! Getting fed up with the pain, discomfort and annoyed with my PGP (SPD) and Raynaud's so just want this kid now 😆

Very excited though, despite the nerves for labour. Just seeing how other Mums-to-be are handling things since we're so close to the end 😊

Congratulations @anonaon and @desertmama1 I'm still here! On pessary number 2 to try and get things moving along but apart from the quite often (but mild) contractions not much else to report. He does not want to shift!

Getting some serious back pains tonight with some cramps. Hope this is a sign, getting way too impatient now!

Waters broke at 3:45am and contractions are very much present!
Hoping he'll be here by this afternoon/evening. It's my due date too!

A bit of a boring update from me. Baby's movements didn't improve so I attended the hospital for a trace. All was good and he is doing just fine.
I have been losing parts of my plug the last day or two so hopefully things are going in the right direction.
I still have to attend the growth scan tomorrow but see this as another opportunity to see my little man rather than a worry now.

It's so exciting reading about all the babies being born when they should be 😊

Does anyone get contractions if their bowels are full ? Weird and tmi question I know but last few days I'm either in early labour or the constipation iv been suffering is giving me cramps . I should know as this is baby num 3! Lol

Thought I'd let you know. Baby boy born at 4.50 this morning after been rudely awoken by my waters at 11.45. No name as of yet but he was 8lb 11oz
I'm knackered and I will never judge people in labour after my standard labour (then theatre to remove my placenta cos it wouldn't come away) but he was worth it!

I’m just in hospital beginning the induction process at 41 weeks exactly. I had the pessary at 11am - was 3cm and cervix extremely thin and favourable so fingers crossed it won’t be a really long process.

Hope everyone is doing ok, especially in this heat!!

ELCS tomorrow ..... don't know what I'm feeling! Plus got bad cramps and can't stand this heat!

I have ELCS tomorrow as well! Got to go in for 11 and could be 1.30 or 3ish before they do it. I had emergency with first. Good luck and congratulations on everyone who has had babies so far x

You will be first, we originally were meant to be 7 but they asked us to move as they rescheduled loads due to bank holidays so now could be 2nd or 3rd! You will have your baby by lunch tomorrow 🥰

Awww I hope so! Having my DD in the middle of the night was awful as it felt like my DH had to leave at a time when I needed him most! Would be lovely to have the day to rest a bit and have DD up to visit

Just a little update from me.
I have had my growth scan today and unfortunately his growth has slowed down a bit. Apparently it's not anything to worry about but they would like baby to arrive sooner rather than later. They gave me a sweep there and then and have booked me in to have another sweep on Wednesday and then again on Friday. If still no baby then I have an induction booked for 10am next Tuesday which is baby's due date 😊
It's actually a relief to know I only have one more week to wait 😊

@undercoverhero I'm sorry things aren't going to plan. I'm sure everything will be fine though and with any luck you'll meet your baby this week!

@ChaosMoon everything is fine, he is weighing a healthy 7lb they just don't know why his growth has slowed so are just be precautious. It's actually good news for me as I was dreading going overdue and having to wait an extra two weeks lol

However why does nobody tell you how strange a sweep is!!! To say I'm not excited for another one tomorrow is an understatement 😂😂😂

After two days of back to back contractions my 10lb 4ozer arrived yesterday! A little boy . Nine days overdue just like my other two strangely! Back labour is no fun! 🙈😘😂 .

Congrats to all who have had their babes already - and best of luck for those who will be seeing them soon!

My labour was awful...totally not having any more kids 😆 waters broke at 3:45am, contractions really kicked off around 10am and was fully dilated and pushing around lunch (I was totally out of it, I had gas and air but I was so tired I just had my eyes closed through most of it). 2 hours of pushing and nothing happening. Ended up going to theatre for forceps. He arrived in minutes! 5:29pm.

Stitches are sore but my chest is worse ... Anyone else had pulled chest muscles from pushing so hard? It really hurts!
