Due next week and fed up!!!!!!

Due date next Wednesday. Sweep
On Monday did nothing. I’m so fed up!!!! Hubby has banned me from driving. Mom shows up every day to help me walk my son to nursery because she’s scared I’m going to pop on my way! House is spotless. Washing all done. Shopping all done. Hospital bags ready. I am trying to embrace the end of what will be my last pregnancy but aghhhh!!!! I’m fed up!!!! Anyone else feeling like this? Just about to order a spicy curry with pineapple- wish me luck!!!!

I feel you! I'm due tomorrow and no signs yet (aside from bad backache early hours of this morning but nothing since). So fed up!

Sorry to hear you’re in my boat too!!!! Have you tried raspberry leaf or anything? I was going to then decided against it. I’m just fed up of not being able to do anything or go anywhere!!!

Hi! Grin No, not tried that yet. I went for a loong walk today and it did naff all! I know she'll come when she's ready, but I hate this waiting game.

Yr def not alone, I due next Thursday, sweep booked for Wed then induction on Thursday, haven't driven in 2 weeks, family have been great tho checking to see If I need anything before they come over to distract me! No real signs that shes going to come under her own steam it's soooooo frustrating!!!!

I’m due Wednesday too. Drinking raspberry leaf tea, dtd every day, most things ready at home, had two acupuncture sessions to chivvy things along. Been getting sporadic period pain since last night and some back ache but not sure it’s going anywhere.

Absolutely exhausted, head is telling me to keep active and walk but it’s rained most of today and my bump aches.

Going to have a soak later and I have some clary sage oil I’m considering sniffing or rubbing into the bump with a carrier oil.

I’m pretty much dying of heartburn so curry is out of the question!

Nice to have some company Smile

Due today. Two failed sweeps under my belt. I'm bouncing on my ball, guzzling raspberry red leaf tea. Can't walk (severe pgp). Occasional braxton hicks (as I've had for the past 20 or so weeks). Had hot curry last night. Nipple stimulation. My mw recommended pineapple and dh brought home a whole (very unripe) one that I've yet to tackle...

Induction booked for next Friday. Two more sweeps booked in next week. Feels like it's eviction day but the tenant didn't get the notice! I'm sure they'll arrive at some point!!

Your comments are all making me chuckle.... As I can so so relate 😩😂 Due Thursday and I'm soooo ready for this baby! 🤰🏻👶🏻 Went into hospital with reduced movements yesterday evening... My usual 'Thumper' as we've nicknamed him was not his usual self.... Turns out he was just being a lazy bum and everything was fine!! 😊

Midwife offered me a sweep which I accepted, but by Christ it was awful!!!! FTM and did not expect that 😳😂 She started off by telling me at this stage she might not be able to reach the cervix etc.... She then shoved her fingers in and was telling me how she was tickling babies head and that I was 1cms dilated 😂

Came home, had a bath and have been up most of the night with bad backache and period type pains, but nothing too drastic.... Did the sweep work for any of you ladies!? I need to catch up on previous comments!! I've also had a little bleeding which is apparently normal too 🤔

Oooooh and a MASSIVE congratulations to everyone who's had their babies 🎉👏🏻👶🏻😍

I'm surprised so many people were offered a sweep before their due date. My last appointment was on Thursday (when I was 39+5) and I wasn't offered one. I've been booked in for one on the 15th but I hope I won't need it 🙈

My spicy curry with pineapple last night didn’t work. I heard dates are good too! I scoffed a load yesterday. About to chop up a huge pineapple and have a bowl full for breakfast.

I really thought this little one would come early!!! I’d convinced myself she would. Think we’ll try and get some walking in today, see if gravity helps!!!!

@SunshineAndRainbows6 I'm also due on Thursday with DC2, and MW wouldn't give me a sweep until I'd reach 40w! 👎🏼

I'm very jealous that yours gave you one, and from what you've said, it sounds like your sweep has started things off! 🤞🏼 xx

Does anyone just feel nowhere nearer? Midwife told me she was totally engaged and low. She felt low! And now I just feel normal again!!!

I think they gave me two sweeps before edd because it's an ivf pregnancy and they've taken pity on my severe pgp... I've been consultant led on and off because of ivf, some thyroid issues, concerns about her growth and my current immobility.

But as expected, the sweeps didn't work because she doesn't want to come out yet. It's great that she's happy, but I'm keen to start my own recovery (completely selfishly).

Cross post!! Yes @Chunk9 - I've felt the same for the last 3/4 weeks since she went permanently head down. But she clearly doesn't want out yet...

Is anyone not feeling themselves? I've been feeling very tired, nauseous and I have a bit of a dodgy tummy this morning.

Baby is active, so I'm not sure if this is the start of things. But I saw MW on Tuesday and cervix was closed and baby wasn't engaged. So I'm not sure if I've just picked up a bug.

My due date is still 3 weeks away, and I'm feeling this. I've suddenly got terrible heartburn which is keeping me up at night. I've got no energy. I don't feel myself at all. And this could potentially drag on for ages yet. Ugh. So trying to enjoy the pregnancy but struggling today.

Hey, I'm due Friday and ready for baby to appear. Had a hospital admission in Jan where early CS was discussed but not required so now things are "normal" I'm so fed up of constant Braxton Hicks but not getting anywhere. I recognise a few names from other threads, hopefully we won't all be kept waiting much longer ladies!

Yes! Fingers crossed for some babies soon! Although, I'm torn between really wanting to not be pregnant anymore, and worrying about how on earth I'll cope with a newborn and our toddler. Once the baby's here and I'm sleep deprived and broken from giving birth I'll probably look back on these days wistfully!

I'm due in 9 days and no sign of anything. Not a braxton hicks or a twinge in sight. Booked in for a growth scan on Thursday which may or may not result in an induction. Either way I'm definitely over this stage. Anyone else have constant heartburn that results in vomiting after every meal? Bring on baby.

Im currently in hospital after being induced. Getting really strong early labour contractions. Never felt anything quite like it and im sure they will continue for a while before the actual show kicks. Good luck everybody.

I was due on Wednesday. Had a sweep Thursday and nothing! I was only 50% effaced. Well, I did have some awful pressure/cramping Thursday evening but then went to sleep and woke up normal. I don't feel any different than I have the last few weeks. I'll have another sweep Friday 41+2 and if nothing induced on 41+5. It's not fair! I've been up for the last couple of hours crying about it as I wanted to have the baby by now. My parents are coming from abroad to stay with us for 3 weeks - arriving on Friday and I really wanted a few days alone with dh and baby before hey arrived. If it doesn't arrive in the next couple of days I'll have no time alone. SadSadSad

Anyone any progress??? Nothing here!!!! Hips are aching again. She’s kicking loads. No show though. No contractions. COME ON LITTLE ONE!!!!!!!!

Still nothing. Trying everything to get labour going, even though I know it might not work but feel like I'm at least doing something! But nope, nothing's working 😭

Nothing here. And I’m so tired. Had a massive lie in and woke up really groggy but an hour later could happily have nodded off again.

Lots of kicking and Braxton Hicks. Been baking. And finally packed my hospital bag! I’ve been driving DH insane by refusing to do it as I just wasn’t ready but sorted it now - at 39+4 BlushGrin
