Due date next Wednesday. Sweep
On Monday did nothing. I’m so fed up!!!! Hubby has banned me from driving. Mom shows up every day to help me walk my son to nursery because she’s scared I’m going to pop on my way! House is spotless. Washing all done. Shopping all done. Hospital bags ready. I am trying to embrace the end of what will be my last pregnancy but aghhhh!!!! I’m fed up!!!! Anyone else feeling like this? Just about to order a spicy curry with pineapple- wish me luck!!!!

@Chunk9 ah I see you also had a sweep yesterday! Sounds like it could be the start of something then, I'm hoping it is for you

@CaseofEllen oh hopefully the dogs are acting weird because we are soon to go into Labor. Fingers crossed! I'm oh so very tempted to try castor oil. Seeing as I already have a dicky stomach 😅. But just unsure haha.

Had a sweep at the hospital today, am 3cm, cervix is thinning and stretchy and she gave it a good sweep.. Kept asking if I was OK but I jsut said keep going I want it to work!
I then walked back to playgroup where mmy friend was watching other DC and had sooooo much pressure and cramps on the way. Been having BHs since breakfast which is unusual for me. So alllll day, surely must be doing soenthing.

Now I'm absolutely exhausted. Was planning a curry then bedroom dancing 😜😂😂😂

Ooh had sex about an hour ago. Just been for a wee and had a little pinky blood and some serious period cramping now likelihood is it will lead to nothing but let's see!

Definitely had one contraction eating tea- it went on and on. But that was half hour ago and nothing since!

Ooo it sounds like the beginning of stuff for you all! I really hope it is!

I’m so deflated. Contractions were coming last night about every 17 minutes, decided to try and get some sleep. Went to bed and they stopped. Nothing since. Gutted.

@shiny888 any luck with the castor oil?

I'm now 40+5 and had two sweeps and still nothing! Got another two more booked and if still not here, they're going to induce next Wednesday.

@myotherbagisgucci it didn't give me the runs and it hasn't made me go into Labor. I did have a few mild crampings but that was it.
This baby doesn't want to come 😅

What a shame, I was hoping you'd found some magical labour inducing elixir! Lol!

@myotherbagisgucci me too! Let me know if you find a way 😅. Iv tried everything raspberry leaf tea, pineapple, sex, long walks, ball and nipple stimulation, pressure points etc but nothing. I don't even get contractions doing nipple stimulation 🙄

@shiny888 same here! I can't even look at another pineapple! 😂 My friend recommended sage oil baths, and that's the only thing I've not tried!

@myotherbagisgucci I tried that too! And rubbing the clary sage on my belly while sniffing a really strong concoction of lavender and clary sage and it just gave me mild cranpings but stopped as soon as it began

@shiny888 your baby is obviously very stubborn, as that's some serious dedication right there! Lol xx

@myotherbagisgucci baby is back to back so I reckon there's not enough pressure on my cervix for the cranpings to be doing anything.
Dedication = Boredom and too much time on my hands 😅. When are you set to be induced? Xx

Im being induced next Wednesday if my next two sweeps don't work.

I'm just so exhausted with being so big, I also have a 15 month old who doesn't walk yet and is going through a very clingy teething stage.

@myotherbagisgucci yes first baby. And Iv never not been busy working, Iv always worked really long hours and been busy inbetween so I feel at a loss at the moment 🙄. Probably should be enjoying the down time before baby comes but it's driving me insane. And I'm quite anxious about life in general so I have way to much time to think about things. Doesn't help haha!

Oh goodness I don't know how people manage to be pregnant with another child in tow, well done you! I really hope you're next two sweeps work for you! Are you effaced or dilated at all yet? Did your last sweep do anything like cramps etc?
