Due date next Wednesday. Sweep
On Monday did nothing. I’m so fed up!!!! Hubby has banned me from driving. Mom shows up every day to help me walk my son to nursery because she’s scared I’m going to pop on my way! House is spotless. Washing all done. Shopping all done. Hospital bags ready. I am trying to embrace the end of what will be my last pregnancy but aghhhh!!!! I’m fed up!!!! Anyone else feeling like this? Just about to order a spicy curry with pineapple- wish me luck!!!!

Hi ladies due today, had a scan today as midwife was concerned. All ok though 7lb weight estimated. So no concerns. Sweep next Tuesday x

Contractions seem to be 14 mins apart lasting about a minute... 40+4 today!! Hopefully this means it's actually started!! And fuck me they hurt!! I'm a lot louder than I wanted to be!! I wanted to be one of those quiet women whose in a trance like state... not happening!! Tens machine is saving my life!!

@physicskate good luck - I properly turned the air blue with DS (DH thought it was hilarious). Let it out and channel it!

Feeling a bit queasy tonight, Braxton Hicks still coming but not turning into anything yet. Poor hubby is getting impatient now too.

So, can early labour feel similar to gas pains/constipation? 🙈 I've been getting pains similar to this since about half 5. Feels like I really need to pass gas/poo for about 15-20 seconds and then goes away, before coming back again between 10-15 minutes later. 40+4 today.

I don't want to get my hopes up in case I'm just constipated 🙈

Well. She arrived earlier today. Epidural only worked on half my body... a last second sweep broke my waters. Two days of labour had got me to 2 cm. then they started me on the drip. 6 hours later I was fully dilated and pushing. Baby was almost out when they decided she needed help because heart rate dropping too low. Forceps.

Many stitches later... I'm so in love and can't wait to have another (if we could be so lucky).

I'm pretty sure I'm in early labour 🙈 Pains have ramped up in intensity and frequency in the last couple of hours. Now they feel like pretty bad diarrhoea cramps and are coming every seven minutes or so. Also had some blood tinged mucus when wiping earlier. Eeek 🙈

Still nothing from me. She’s well and truly comfy in there.

Contractions have ramped up even more and are now quite painful. Still getting them every six minutes or so. Hoping this is the day!

Well that was a whirlwind! Trust your instincts ladies! After begging to be allowed into hospital, I got there only to be told I was 9cm dilated! 😬 Baby Scarlett was born 45 minutes later without any painkillers! She's perfect and we're both doing well ❤ 6lbs 6oz of perfection

@Chunk9 it was pretty much what I expected this time around and the staff were fab. Unusually it was almost identical to my son's birth!

Congratulations ladies for anyone ive missed, im currently in the over due club 40+4, was very unwell last night so was hoping it was the start of something but doesn't look like it was. currently in bed with a cup of raspberry leaf tea hoping the twinges start today xx

@Smilenow2008 anything progress for you? Nothing at all for me. Tried some raspberry leaf but have read it was pointless unless I started at 36 weeks. Oh well feel like I tried something. Kept thinking I felt twinges but it turned out to be gas. Ughhh. And my
Midwife moved sweep from today to tomorrow. Come on baby!!!!!!

Hi everyone. I'm also still pregnant 39 + 5. Trying really hard not to get fed up as could be another 7-14 days! But I'm really starting to get uncomfortable. I'm finding I'm getting worried about her position a lot. She's been head down and anterior (can feel her bottom at the front very clearly) since 20 weeks and I really don't want her to turn back to back (posterior). I don't know if that worry is holding me back? My family are getting demanding as well "I want" "I will" etc like it's all about them?! Grrr rant over ...

@LuckyKitty13 I feel you! I'm 39+3 and had enough! I just want her out. Was just saying to my OH I'm feeling fed up and knowing I have so many days to spend at home alone while he's at work and he just thinks I'm being really negative so I'm now sulking upstairs so I'm not being 'negative' around him.
