Need some hand holding and problem solving as can't get my head around how it is supposed to work.

We gave up again Hmm Not going to mention it for a couple of months and then have another go at the end of August, will see if we can get things going for when he starts pre-school in September. They are very supportive and will help out of the kids aren't trained, so that's one less worry :)

Can I join your thread please?

DD is 2.6 and we started yesterday. No successes and today has been the same so far. She mastered the poos on the potty ages ago but that was self taught so I can't take any credit. So she does understand the potty but won't sit on it unless she knows she has something to put into it.

I'm running out of clothes for her so we'll be going bare after her nap.

Going to read the rest of this thread and see if I find some magic answer to getting her trained.

We are still having more days with accidents than without but are muddling on. Dd often tells me she doesn't need a wee, gets cross then wees on the floor. It is trying.my patience. We do seem to be coming along with poo, in the last week dd has started to say she needs a poo then actually doing one in the potty! Still pooing in pants at nursery though. I guess it takes too long to sit on the toilet and she thinks she is missing out on the fun
