OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
momino · 12/05/2010 21:06

flippin, Ohio! I'm from Cleveland. very of him.

flippinegg · 12/05/2010 21:14

momino - don't be , he'll be spending a lot of time in factories around Cincinatti! And I missed St Louis out of his itinerary.

llareggub · 12/05/2010 21:31

Just posting through bleary eyes to wish you all the very best tomorrow, Headless. I am sure all will be well.

I'm wrapped up in bed feeling cold and tired and very sorry for myself. Work is getting me down and G still isn't sleeping through. DH and I have had some terrible arguments and I am sure it is all down to lack of sleep, no time alone and the pressure of work. DH is very busy and has worked every night this week. We really need some time alone.

Sorry to post and run but I can barely keep my eyes open. Missing you all!

flippinegg · 12/05/2010 22:28

llareggub, hope you're feeling better soon.

Night all! Fingers crossed for good nights all round. I've just heard A stir (she used to wake some time between 10 and 11) but it's all quiet now - I think she settled herself again!

SpangleMaker · 13/05/2010 11:10

llare hope you're feeling better soon and that things get better at work and home. I can really identify - H is going through a v v clingy/bad sleeping phase, I'm trying to get up to speed in a new role and look professional in spite of having to frequently take days off for either me or H being ill, and DH and I are carping at each other. I said to him the other day I feel like I'm existing rather than living ATM.

Flip great news on A sleeping through!

Momi have a great holiday.

Right - I'm working at home today and not supposed to be here - just came on to wish Headless all the very best for today - I'm thinking of you. I'm sure it will be absolutely fine, especially if you're feeling movements.

essenceofSES · 13/05/2010 11:30

In a meeting (oops!) but just wanted to check-in and send positive vibes to Headless.

Spangle - sorry you're feeling so rough. No fun. Hope things improve with sleep and bugs soon.

Llare - hope things get better for you soon too.

My news is that AF is here so I'm officially ttc!! (Am I mad?!) This month won't be great month for ttc though as I'm likely to be away in York around ovulation. Will just have to make sure we still "practise" anyway!

Right! Back to my meeting...!

pulapula · 13/05/2010 16:42

Ses- i'm just filling a 5 minute gap before I go and pick up DD from after school club . I am excited that you are excited about TTC (you are not mad at all). All I can say is that I was desperate to TTC once my period returned after DS1, and I assumed my cycle would be as it was before, but it was a bit longer, and a bit unpredictable, so i advise lots of practice whenever and wherever . look forward to seeing you in York on Fri 28th hopefully.

Right better go!

momino · 13/05/2010 20:59

Hi all. just came in to see how headless is but guess no news.
Ses, good luck with ttc! so exciting.
I 'm sorry have so much to do so can't NC. I'll be away from tomorrow so wishing all: Jenn's R, Blotted's G, Febes' R, Sausage's M... anyone else next week? very, very happy 1st Birthdays!

been a very busy day ending up with me screaming again and very resentful of DH who was working late again so missed bath and bedtime, my most stressful time. must stop resenting.

Anyway. back to finish up before holiday. i've got packing to look forward to early tomorrow morning . won't relax till we're in Anglesey. and how relaxed I'll be...

Hope everyone is well. may bob in and out through tomorrow but if I don't, have a great week. do relax.

momino · 13/05/2010 21:00

oh, I said f-in hell in front of DD's today . it was One of Those Days. I hope the F word isn't Harper's first grown up word.

Grumpyoldcaaaaaaaa · 13/05/2010 21:16

Hello

Quickly checking in to see if any news from headless but none as yet.

spangle hope you're ok, sorry you and DH are having problems - IKWYM about work, I've had to take 2 days off this week for S

momi Have a lovely holiday, I have sworn in front of mine too, DD2 gives me a FILTHY look, DD1 laughs.

llare Hope you're better soon

fi Hope you're having a great time

flip Re Photos of you. Slim and glamorously shiny of hair. Loved the one of A

ses have fun TTC'ing

I hope to see hundreds of you at York met-up (if I'm allowed, not being a prolific poster and all )

Must go, being distracted by my homemade lemon cheesecake calling me from the kitchen

HeadlessLadyH · 13/05/2010 21:22

Hi all. Thank you all for your good vibes.Am sure it helped as there were indeed two little baby shaped jumping beans!! Yay!!!

I have to go back next week when I may, or may not have a CVS test. Long story.

llare hope you are feeling better now. Sleep deprivation and tiredness are terrible for row causing in this house too. Hope you manage a good night tonight.

momi holiday???? Have a lovely time. At least the weather is improving for you. Am sure your DDs barely noticed the f word!

spangle hope you and H are feeling better too. Have you done your booking in with your MW yet?

I know I've missed loads of people and I'm sorry. I had better post on the due Nov board now and then go to bed!!

Grumpyoldcaaaaaaaa · 13/05/2010 21:25

flippinegg · 13/05/2010 22:00

LOL at Grumpy and Momino. I am the prudish big sister who would have stuck her fingers in her ears and told Mum. Now I am a fishwife.

Headless - good news about the two happy jumping beans!

I knew the sleeping through wouldn't last, back to normal last night! At least it was only one wake up though.

belgina · 13/05/2010 22:13

Ooooooohhhh headless Brilliant news. How exciting. Going for CVS is a v. difficult decision. I hope you can work out what's the right decision for you.

A non mny {hug} to Momi have a great holiday so you can put today behind you

A big wave to grumpy Enjoy the lemon cheese cake Reminds me of sunday when I promissed everyone cheesecake and then discovered that the ap had eaten the eggs for lunch that week without telling me

flippin Hurrah for the sleeping through the night. C's still waking, though last few nights she's going to 3 and doesn't acutally feed until 5! The one thing I've got with her though is that I just cannot seem to be able to cut out the dream feed. If she doesn't get it, she wakes at midnight . I don't mind though. I rather do that than get up in the night.

Wel,l today I managed to raise an eyebrow in the post office when I was repeating C's babbling to her. She was going 'buggabuggabugga' Which of course came out as something different from me. Lol. I also managed to get weed on by C when I changed her out of her changing costume and she was naked on my lap. She looked quite relieved after and gave me a big smile.

Tomorrow DS is going on a residential school trip for the first time ever . We're both a bit worried about the whole thing. He's never been away from me in his whole little life. I know he'll have lots of fun, but it's the bedtime bit that'll be difficult for him I think.

Tummum · 13/05/2010 22:15

Evening all.

Just checking in to catch Headless & , what great news.

Momi lol at H's first word starting with an F. Today DD2 said 'Mummy, I don't like it when you shout' (I shout all of the time) 'it makes me feel sick.' . I really wish there were patience pills out there. Have a lovely lovely holiday, just being away from the norm will be a great break for you all.

Llare hope you are feeling better today. Like everyone says, sleep deprivation is a bastard.

Spangle IKWYM about 'existing' instead of living. Take of yourself

Grumps at cheesecake

Flip lovely photos on FB

Ses have fun !

So this week, I had a final interview yesterday and an assessment centre for the job I really want tomorrow. I am trying not to be nervous and remember I am good at my job. Will be a busy day, because straight afterwards we are off to camp in the Cotswolds. Have a lovely weekend everyone.x

Grumpyoldcaaaaaaaa · 13/05/2010 22:15

Can you tell I was the irritating little sister? And still am (ask my beloved big bruv).

I made a lemon cheescake today, it's so lovely I'm still feeling smug.

belgina · 13/05/2010 22:16

Gah. My post finger is out of control. I meant to wave at everyone I didn't NC.

pula Good luck with the potty training. I'd give it a break if he doesn't seem to be improving after few days. He might not be ready. Both mine didn't have all that many accidents once they were readyfor it.

llare Get well soon.

Everyone else. Good night

Grumpyoldcaaaaaaaa · 13/05/2010 22:19

belgian I laughed a lot at 'buggabugga'

tumm I shout a lot too, I get from DD1 but DD2 has started crying when I shout

Oh

And just once more.

I made lemon cheesecake today. Seriously, can you tell it worked well?

SpangleMaker · 13/05/2010 22:20

Headless yay!! Fantastic news! Just the CVS hurdle to get over, if you have one, then hopefully you can relax a bit and enjoy your pregnancy.

I've been very efficent & had my booking in appt and got my scan date sorted - 11 June - feels like ages away! I need to book a NT scan & bloods to be done privately as my hospital doesn't do them yet. I've also had a hospital AN appt through for June as I'm down as high risk because H was premature. Not sure what they can do about it though!

LOL at Grumpy and Momino. momino what was it like having seven sisters??

flippinegg · 13/05/2010 22:21

Pah, should proof read. WAS the prudish big sister. Actually, scrap that, still am. Just a foul-mouthed prude. I am very restrained around the girls, although DD1 does say 'blinking' quite a lot!

Ses - exciting stuff! Enjoy!

flippinegg · 13/05/2010 22:25

I knew there'd be cross-posts! Evening all.

grumpy - I was ignoring your cheesecake declarations.

belgina - lol at buggabugabugga!

I've just eaten A's last easter egg . It was for her benefit. She was given loads, she doesn't need chocolate. I do.

SpangleMaker · 13/05/2010 22:26

Lots of x-posts!

Grumpy any lovely luscious lemon cheescake going spare for a pregnant lady??

belgina I saw your FB status and wondered who had weed on you. I was hoping it was C and not a patient

Ooops DH wants the laptop and I have run the battery down. Just one last thing - I have just eaten a mini magnum
