Hi Ladies,

Impy, glad you enjoyed your fun-filled weekend!! How adorable that you missed Ry so much!! Must have been nice to have a bit of Romance though...

HC I don't know where you get the time!! Does this mean you are TTC too, or are you just lurking to get that hang of it before you start!?
Thanks for looking after my zoo by the way. I really should make more of an effort...

Ceebee exciting!!! Let us know any developments Pleeeeease!! And good luck!

Bloss, look at you, city girl! Glad you are enjoying it, and it really is the best of both worlds isn't it, when you're part-time.

Lysette, LOL at Jacob's toga! How funny!

Spin, Roshi is amazing! Lol at her flirting, does she take after her mum, I wonder...

Kbaby, lol at DD's words... how funny

First, how's the head!? Hope Emma's bumps are gone, bless her.

No news here really. DH went Christmas shopping yesterday while Joey was at nursery, and bought me a coat but I have to take it back cos it's rather large. I know I'm fatter than I used to be, but come on... Anyway I need it for Friday (friend's dad's funeral) so I have to do it myself, cos he NEVER gets a chance to go out. So this, unfortunately, means skiving off work early today...

Playgroup Christmas party tomorrow, so lets see how they react to Santa!!

Have a good day all

santaspregnantlittlehelper · 12/12/2007 13:38

hey annie at least your dh has been out and bought you something - mine leaves it to me although it does mean i get exactly what i want

soph28 · 12/12/2007 13:50

hi everyone,
not been on in ages, just seem to have had no time. Glad everyone seems to be doing well- all the little ones seem to be growing up so fast! Chloe isn't walking or talking yet- she cruises and balances for a few seconds and she can say 'ta', 'tata', 'deh' (there) and 'dada' and that's it!

She's getting a small baby doll, a buggy, a book and a fairy outfit for Christmas plus her stocking. However I'm sure all she wants is a digger but we have enough of those in the house as it is!

I need some toast!

AnnieOneDrinkingSnowballs · 12/12/2007 13:53

Lysette, at least you get what you want!!! I have to pretend I like things...

Hey Soph, good to hear from you, glad Chloe is doing so well

santaspregnantlittlehelper · 12/12/2007 17:00

annie i also get to wrap it all up and then fake the surprised look on christmas morning

just decorated our tree - christmas music played while i did it, v festive feeling!

FrostyTheSnowman · 12/12/2007 20:46

Annie-I found the TTC after Christmas thread just before Ceebee did. Deffo getting some moral support ready for TTC No 3 in about March time.

Fed up of my cold. It is Emma's nativity play tomorrow but there are 16 children off sick. The headmistress has roped in some people from the New Tribes Mission up the road to do some of the parts. Should be a laugh anyway.

Hope you are all OK.

Blossomingintoachristmasfairy · 12/12/2007 21:39

omigod HC 16 kids off! Head mistress must be pulling her hair out, what a nightmare.

So Dh buys a second hand jeep two weeks ago. A week later the electrics have gone and it's got a fuel leak. Currently in the most expensive garage in Christendom, where it will stay till it is fixed. DH not impressed. I have refrained from telling him I told you so.....but.....I did tell him so! He is not a happy bunny.

H is a donkey in his nativity play tomorrow! Looking forward to it. I picked them up from nursery today and he said to me "Mummy I do worry about Toby in the baby room you know".....awwwwww..I told him it was my job to worry and not his, and that Toby was fine. What a cutie.

Blossomingintoachristmasfairy · 12/12/2007 21:42

TOby's fave habit at the mo is to say No and shake his head at everything. Do you want some Juice? Noo.. have you done a poo? Noo... Ready for bed.....Noo... Want a banana? Nods head so hard it nearly falls off....

FirstAtForty · 12/12/2007 22:38

Hi Girls

Bloss - how sweet of H, aaaw. So glad nursery?s going well, and the job sounds v glam!! Tee hee re the head nodding, he knows what he likes, obviously! Hope the nativity goes well - (Emma?s a sheep in her play on Friday).

HC - how exciting, gearing up TTC, won't be long now!! Hope the cold buggers off soon, and that all goes well at the nativity despite the absences.

Hi Soph , glad Chloe's doing well

Lysette - oooh Christmas tree and music, sigh? I?ve been trying to gear up to do all that, have been a bit useless so far though, 7 crimbo cards and that?s it. Can you post a 'bump' pic?!!

Annie - hope your party goes okay tomorrow too (do they have parents? punch at these things I wonder < dreams on > ) Good news re the sleeping, long may it continue?

Impy - well done on your romantic weekend Must have been really nice to get away and do something a bit different, can understand missing Ry though. Lovely for him to spend some time with his grandparents, I bet they really enjoyed it.

Ceebee - lol at Josh and his ?higher being? [fgin] Fingers crossed for you re ttc, v exciting!

Hi Beadmum, how?s things with you?

Spin - I laughed too re Chili?s birthday meltdown, that?s a story to store up for when he?s (much) older and misbehaving Bless Roshi and her counting, yes when you get a min (har har) please post some pics!

Kbaby - wow a video, very impressive! I bet they?ll love it. V sweet vocab by DD

Agalch - have fun on Saturday!

Can?t remember who was asking about poos, but it?s usually around 2 a day here, usually one in the night and one mid-morning ish.

Right girls, I need some tips on how to transform Emma into a sheep . I?m a hopeless novice when it comes to ?outfits? - I?ve got as far as a white babygro so far?

Better get off to bed, sleep well everyone xxx

ceebee74 · 13/12/2007 10:18

First - am probably just as rubbish with costumes but maybe stick lots and lots of cotton wool balls onto the babygro?

Bloss - Toby sounds just like Josh when it comes to bananas (or 'nanas' as he calls them). They are his most favourite thing and I swear he would eat them all day given half a chance. Yesterday, I was sat on the sofa with my back to the lounge door which Josh was facing. I heard DH come in and all of a sudden, a huge huge smile appeared on Josh's face and I thought, how lovely that he seemed so happy to see DH - until I realised that DH had bought a banana in for him

Anyway, must stop skiving at work. Am finishing early today as going to Take That tonight - and I am SO excited!!

FrostyTheSnowman · 13/12/2007 11:03

Take That-

HC
x

santaspregnantlittlehelper · 13/12/2007 13:45

second that HC!!!!

jacob HATES bananas! won't touch them which is a real shame as they are so convenient for little ones.

he's now learnt to point at the bump and say his version of "baby". that and the pacing up and down the room with his hands behind his back. loks like a little old man

not much else to report but i will try and get hold of a bump photo but i wouldn't hold your breath. managed to avoid it all the way through pg with jacob so will try and do the same this time I think!

i'd suggest cotton wool balls on the babygrow as well, not much cop at that kind of thing (yet!)

FrostyTheSnowman · 13/12/2007 16:39

Well, what an eventful afternoon. Was just getting Sophie in the car to go and watch Emma in her Nativity Play when someone skidded, did a 90 degree turn and scraped along our front wall then prompty drove off. Luckily no major damage. Then arrived home after the Play to find a taxi parked in the wall. Can't believe it, he has smashed the wall and squashed my beloved plants. A recovery truck is here now attempting recovery.

The Play BTW was fun-they did quite well considering this was the first time they had done a full run through.

Right, going to go and move some bricks.

santaspregnantlittlehelper · 13/12/2007 17:29

i know it's not really the point as the poor plants are probably really poorly now but can you get anything onthe insurance for them (as the wall)?

glad it went well with Em!

rather looking forward for when jacob starts doing all that stuff

a lady on my antenatal thread had to stillbirth her daughter this morning - has had me in floods of tears most of the day. didn't help when i had to call the british legion as we are sending a resident of one of their care homes a hamper for christmas (and the woman I spoke to was so grateful and said she knows just the gentleman who would love one as he has no family), and pretty much burst into tears on the phone...

we have chosen the care home near where my parents live so that in future years we can go down there and jacob and the little one can hand them over - this year's one is from jacob and has a message on the hamper saying it's from jacob, aged 17 months. making me well up just thinking about it.

sorry, pg hormones - remember these in the next few months ceebee and HC!!!!

xxxx

FrostyTheSnowman · 13/12/2007 20:11

Oh crikey santa-really puts things in prospective when you read what cece has been through. How terribly sad

What a lovely thing you are doing with the hamper. I do so remember the PG hormones and can never be prepared enough for them.

DH got really cross with me lifting the bricks off my plants in the dark. He doesn't understand my passion for plants and trees.

Hope all are OK.

Lysette - v for the lady on your ante-natal thread. I can't even begin to imagine how awful that must be.

I almost feel bad for posting this now but i wanted to share that I have a new nephew - my brother's gf gave birth early hours this morning - he was 8lb 7oz (but he was 2 weeks overdue!)

Oh and for those of you that were about Take That - they were absolutely fantastic . One of the best concerts I have been to! Although am so tired as I didn't get home until 1am, had to be up again at 6am this morning to do drive a 400-mile round trip to one of our other offices.

FrostyTheSnowman · 15/12/2007 18:52

Congrats on being an Auntie Ceebee.

Blossomingintoachristmasfairy · 16/12/2007 20:28

morning all! (well it was morning when I started writing this post)....

sorry about your ante natal lady Lysettes, how sad.

Congrats Auntie CB!

Sorry youa re homesick Spin, can we send you a parcel? Get me your address to [email protected], seriously, I'd love to send you some bits and bobs for Chrimble... do it.

Tree is up, Toby is attacking it at every opportunity, he has already broken 3 baubles. He throws such almighty tantrums at the moment. Refusing to eat anything at all really, and then starts throwing it, Harry NEVER EVER threw food. Although having said that took T with me shopping this afternoon and he was as good as gold the whole time.....

Anyway, gotta run, watching a film on Sky Box Office tonight, until I fall asleep that is. Done nearly all my wrapping, just the boys's stuff to do now...

Love Bloss

FrostyTheSnowman · 16/12/2007 21:13

Girls, had Christmas Sunday Lunch with Santa today and it was really dreadful-I had booked it and I was so upset I couldn't stop crying. The last straw was the fact that Santa was a lady. The room, food and service was the pits so SIL is going to send in a letter of complaint.

I have been cutting down on my AD's by taking them every other day and I am very tearful on the without days. Lordy, hope it settles down, don't want to be a gibbering wreck over Christmas.

Bloss-Sophie refuses most foods and if you don't take it off her she throws it across the room. She used to be such an angel. You have done well with your wrapping. I am doing a bit each day but this is the first year I have been so behind. Em finishes school on Thursday so I am letting mum and dad have both girls for the day on Friday so will be doing last minute sorting. (Actually, I want to sit and watch Evita again. An annual treat!)

spin-echo Bloss. If there is anything you need you must let us know-happy to help.

Mum told me today that Rupert Penry-Jones is going to get blown up in Spooks. How can I live now?

Love to all

snow-photos are fab. Roshi is such a young lady. Chili and Roshi together is just melting. I loved having a big bro. Must upload some more of Sophie-put her in a lovely red velvet skirt and top set in age 6-9 months yesterday and it was very roomy. Sophie's walking is not going at all-she hasn't walked since that bit last Monday. Don't know about the AD's as the DR said take one every other day then when I get near the end of the pack keep some back incase of need. I really want to come off them ready for the great TTC campaign (if I can stay sane long enough). I always get a tad stressed at Christmas so tis a bad time to start reducing but needs must and all that.

Must go and wrap.

hi all!

congrats ceebee! you mustn't feel bad, it's heartbreaking for cece but well I cna't relaly say what i'm trying to without it coming out wrong but you know what i mean! and thanks sss for being concerned, was quite upset o nthe day that it happened for her but just didn't get on over the weekend as we were so busy!

Jacob is pretty much like all your others re food. i'm back feeding him again unless it's cheese on toast or organix carrot stix snack things as he just tosses it all on the floor...

no broken baubles in this house but that's only because the tree is in a shut room and we don't let him inthere.... so everyone walking down the road sees our tree and we don't

lo is kicking loads, and unfortunately my fingers have started to swell slightly although i'm actually just hopiong it's a bit of weight going on!

how is everyone else????
