Bloss, one week down, soon you will be thinking you've always been doing it. Hooning and all. You will be fine tuning your hooning.
Lysette was that the Harrods Santa? By the time I got round to it, it was all booked up. Bit slow off the mark, me. Your MIL sounds like mine, she would always clean the whole place when she visited, even under the bed! Since having babies though, she just concentrates on them now, so the place never gets cleaned. Though FIL does spent hours washing up two cups, and then putting all the clean stuff in the dishwasher. Used to really really annoy me, but I think my hormones have receded a bit now, so I just let them get on with it. It makes them happy.
Spin, great to hear from you, you busy busy bee!! Very belated Happy Birthday to Chili. LOL at his meltdown, and subsequent promises!
Impy, are you on your dirrrrty weekend now?!?! I thought I could hear some noises from the Travelodge as I passed this morning...
Still no xmas emoticons?? [xmashmm]
Well, two nights of disastrous sleep for us. Wed night, she slept in her cot til our bedtime, as is usual at the moment. Then woke screaming and scratching at five minute intervals thereafter. DH got up to take her out of the room, but was so frustrated with her scratching, and her fighting to get to me, we had a bit of a shouting match, and I ended up taking her to the living room and sleeping on the couch with her. I say sleeping, it was more dozing, shoving a bottle in her mouth, dozing, walking round the living room... anyway, last night I was so fed up of it, but I managed to get her back to sleep in her cot at our bedtime, not sure how long that lasted, but next thing I knew she was in bed with us again, and kicked off, DH just picked her up and went to watch telly! So I think he was up about an hour and then put her back in her cot, which lasted til this morning...
So I dunno if it's getting better or worse, but I do know I'm getting so fed up of having her in the bed that something has to change soon.
Bloke came yesterday to install the soft water, so let's see if that helps.
She had long black socks on her arms to stop her scratching. Would have been funny...
Anyway, best do some work...
