Hi Girls
Well she?s in her cot and chuntering away to herself, so fingers crossed?
Very exciting - (nearly) 3 TTCers! Good luck to everyone! I?m kind of joining you (in a very vague kind of way) in that we?re letting nature take its course too, however we?ve done that for the last 6 years and only conceived once, and I?m an old bird of course? never say never though!
Ceebee - what a dreamboat Josh is, don?t cut his hair it?s gorgeous Does he really just flop onto chairs and fall asleep like that? Very if he does, Emma wouldn?t in a million years in case she missed something, she only ever sleeps in her cot, or car seat when the car?s moving, she hasn?t even napped in her pram since she was about 8 months old.
Annie - sorry if I haven?t said before but GORGEOUS pics on Facebook, love the one of them in their red wellies!
Spin - lovely to see your latest pics, sweeeet ones of them together, and love the one of Roshi with the shades and finger in her mouth, very cool! Was a bit at the sky cot pic (assuming that?s what it is?) - what a weeny cot!! I?m thinking about doing that journey before Emma?s 2, it will be even worse if she won?t fit in the cot.
Agalch - glad you had a good night out - if they?re both Scottish AND MNers you can?t go wrong can you
Bloss - bummer on the food throwing, how infuriating. Emma keeps threatening to tip her plate upside down, I?ve managed to catch her and stop her so far but it?s only a matter of time. Hope work?s still going okay, do you get a Crimbo break?
Lysette - kicking - how exciting!! Lol re the typing butler, he?ll come in very useful if your fingers do swell up
Twinkle - good idea re no baubles, just tinsel it is then
We?ve got a mini tree (with mini baubles) on top of the telly where she can?t reach it, and I?ve decorated the mantel (which she also can?t reach) - but that?s as far as it?s got, haven?t been able to face doing the tree yet, it?s time consuming enough trying to stop her from stuffing all the Christmas cards I?m writing into the kitchen bin?
Re pressies, she?s got a set of Night Garden books, a singing Iggle Piggle (yes, I caved in), and a Little People farm set. She is OBSESSED with Night Garden, it?s the first thing she asks for on descending the stairs in the morning - she looks at me straight in the eye and says in this deadpan, insistent, ?possessed by a cult? kind of voice ?GOG-GEH? (her way of pronouncing Iggle Piggle.) It?s all my fault, I encouraged it. I have to admit though it?s useful for distracting her from destroying the living room
The web design course is going okay (thanks for the encouragement btw Impy ) - if a little slowly as I can only do it when Emma?s either asleep or at nursery as it requires TOTAL concentration. Don?t know what?s up with me at the mo but I?m finding concentration and organisation really difficult again since stopping work. It?s like when I first went back to work when Emma was 6 months old - maybe it?s the change in routine again. Bit depressing but have found that I?m completely dysfunctional without a series of routines to get me through the day - sure I never used to be like that
Better get off and do some studying while the going?s good - love to all xxx
