Ahem . You haven't really heard from me for a while I'm afraid. I still have the same problem I always had of forgetting what everyone has said by the time I start my post, and I can't just write about me so I end up not posting.

Wallace - good to hear from you. Hope you're all feeling better now. I had a nasty stomach bug about three weeks ago - really knocked me for six.

HC - I don't think I ever congratulated you on Sophie's walking. I really am a cr*p member of this club aren't I?

Hugs to all of you with sleep/early waking problems. Thankfully we don't have that here, and we're all looking forward to 2 weeks of not getting up at 6am.

How are all your LOs enjoying the festivities so far? Aidan is still loving the Christmas tree lights, and he also loves his advent calendar (no chocolate). We open it every day after his breakfast (well DH does it during the week and I do at weekends). I wasn't sure if he'd be too young this year but he is so good only opening one door each day and not throwing a wobbly about doing any others.

I am really loving Christmas this year. I think last year I was still walking around in a bit of a daze, plus I was dreading going back to work (as were you CB IIRC).

Hello to everyone else.

Just a quickie to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and hope you all have a fab day.

I loved all the pics btw.

Lynsette- Congrats on finding out you are having a boy.

Ds still not sleeping and we?re up twice a night for hrs on end trying to get him to sleep, even medised isn?t working and to top that DD is so excited about xmas she is having nightmares each night so were up with her also. Never mind a few days off work so hopefully get some rest.

Twinkle- Hello, I forget too so now I open a word document and keep going back to write on it when I want to reply to someone. It means you don?t forget once you?ve read the whole thread.

Ok off to bed now, its very quiet in the living room so I think DH mustve fallen asleep on the settee.

Have a great xmas

Just a quickie to with everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hope you and all the July 2006 babies (and siblings) have a super duper day xx

Don't think I will get on again before Boxing Day night at the earliest.

Unfortunately our heating has broken today of all days! Can't get anyone out to look at it until Thursday but am trying to think positive - at least it is not the oven

Spin - still can't get used to the change in timezones with you - your message is timed at 9.09am and you are putting Ch and R to bed

xx

FrostyTheSnowman · 24/12/2007 21:02

Well ladies

Everything is ready for the big day tomorrow. We will have 9 grown ups and Emma and Sophie. Emma is beside herself with excitement so I think Father Christmas will have to visit her room in the middle of the night as she won't go to sleep.

Have been watching all the Christmassy films as I prepared today and all of them gave me a lump in my throat and as for putting the tray out with the carrots, sherry, mince pies and reindeer food-well, my eyes welled up. Hope Emma will like her pressies. She said she needs to write a list so that Santa will bring what she wanted. Told her it was too late now!

Anyway, would like to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas !

Lots of Love

merry christmas to all my lovely friends on here.

KBabes, can totally sympathise, Toby has become nocturnal! Have had a really mixed two days, really tired H very whingy and demanding, DH stressed out, but then a brilliant drinks party at home with all our friends this afternoon, so christmassy!

Have done my oranges with cloves, played two games of guess who with MIL tonight, currently eating quality street, drinking bubbly, and watching the holiday.

Have a great time all.

Bloss

FestiveAndFirsty · 24/12/2007 22:31

Oooh not long now? (and you?re already there Spin)!!

Happy Christmas to everyone

We?re having a quieter Christmas Eve than anticipated as MIL and FIL haven?t been able to make it yet due MIL having a dreadful-sounding tummy bug, hopefully they?ll get here for Boxing Day. Feel sad for them as they haven?t laid in any Crimbo stuff as they thought they?d be away, not that MIL?s eating anyway. Anyway hopefully they?ll make it soon. DH and I both have cold lurgies and Emma?s just getting over one, so we?re a right germ-laden lot.

Still, big fridge- and kitchen-full of food and booze to make a dent on, we?re manfully doing our best, whilst slumped on the sofa enjoying a Christmas film-fest? ooh and Joseph and Maria, hurrah.

Have a fab day tomorrow everyone, big Crimbo kisses to all xxx

Blossomingintoachristmasfairy · 27/12/2007 14:08

omigod Snow, this year will bring 2 year olds I can't believe it!!

Hope everyone had a good Chrimble. We had a really lovely time, the boys were totally ruined. I was really releived actually that the day and Boxing Day were so relaxed, as the day before Christmas Eve and Christmas Eve morning were soooooooo stressful I really don't know why but the kids were driving us up the wall and Dh and I were bicker bicker bicker the whole time. But then our party was so nice and it was all fine after that, so thank goodness!

DH back at work today, so have been out for a long walk this morning for some lovely fresh air and now chilling in front of Shrek 3 with a friend and her kids. No idea when I am back at work, that might give some indication of my dedication!

Not up to much for new year, DH will cook no doubt. Going to SIL's for New Year's Eve Eve, for dinner and champagne with all that side of the family.

I must have eaten half a tin of Quality street and a whole terry's chocolate orange last night. Feel the size of house today. There is so much chocolate in the house, I bought the boys absolutely loads and then took it all off them cos they're not allowed it! Mean mummy.

Ciao for now.

Bloss

Wallace · 27/12/2007 19:18

Ooh bloss - chocolate! Yo have jst reminded me that santa brought leo a chocolate reindeer yum yum

Poor Leo still isn't to well. First it was a rotten cold and cough (which stayed) then that D&V bug. Now he has croup9quite mildly) and maybe ringworm. GP not sure, could just be eczema...

ceebee74 · 27/12/2007 19:51

Wallace - poor Leo, sounds like he is really suffering the poor little man.

Christmas was good here - although very hectic! Had MIL over for Christmas Day, my sister and her 3 kids came for the afternoon, MIL stayed over and BIL and gf came for lunch yesterday. We went to my sister's today where my parents were - actually feeling a little (only a very little though) glad to be going to work tomorrow for a rest!

Our lounge now resembles a (messy) toy shop although Josh's favouritest favouritest present (and I think it might be the bestest present ever as far as Josh is concerned) was from BIL and gf....a musical bubble-blowing Thomas!! It combines his 3 favourite things - a moving Thomas, the Thomas theme tune and bubbles! He was SO excited when we first switched it on and bubbles flew out of the funnel

Josh has also eaten so much crap these last few days that I really need to put a stop to it - but we have so much chocolate in the house that either we don't eat it until he has gone to bed or start eating it in secret with the doors shut

Anyway, hope you all had a fab time - can't believe how quick these last few days have gone.

Hello everyone. We had a fab Christmas all round. Aidan loves his table and chairs. A really nice surprise was a couple of DVDs from his auntie (I haven't allowed DVDs or much TV yet). One was Thomas, and as he absolutely adores trains that went down a treat. The other one is Pingu which I Aidan thinks is great - so funny!

I'm so sorry Leo is still poorly, Wallace. Aidan's had croup, it's horrible. How on earth could he have developed ringworm?

ImpyChica · 28/12/2007 10:32

Hi everyone

Hope you all had a fab xmas. Ours in Segovia was just amazing - beautiful house in gorgeous scenery - really didn't want to leave. My mate Karen came for a couple of days as she had no where else to go - so that was great to have a bit less family-family stuff going on. DP and my brother clubbed together and bought me a Canon E0S 400d camera (yeah KZ/SSS - finally!) and I cried when I unwrapped it - couldn't believe it. Ryan had a ball with all his grandparents and being able to go out and play in a garden whenever he liked - it was fantastic.

Anyway, enough about me...! Meant to say in my last post, good luck with all the TTC-ing!!! Finger's crossed for you all.

Hope Chili is over his jabs, poor love, KZ/SSS. And that Roshi has managed to get all her dolls to sleep...

Hope the bad sleepers are sorting themselves out.. We had a bit of it ourselves - when Ry slept in our room over the holiday, he'd wake up at 5.30/6am and not go back to sleep - nightmare! Was usually able to palm him off on some grannie or the other though, thankfully!

Hope your heating got sorted out CB - nightmare!

You are such a big softy Frosty!! Laughing at your "welling up" all through Xmas Eve!! Bless! Never been hugely into xmas myself - but have to say that it's much more fun with a wee fella - loved seeing his face when he opened his pressies. He's got loads more to open on Jan 6 when we celebrate 3 Kings here in Spain - so it spreads it out nicely....

Hope everyone got over their lurgies, Festive40.

Hope Leo is better Wallace - poor thing.

You're v good on the "not much TV" front Twinkle! Which I could be as disciplined.... though he usually only watches about half an hour a day I guess.

Well peeps better do some cleaning up.... DP is scrubbing the kitchen from top to bottom and I'm feeling like a lazy old moose bag...!

Hugs and love to all, Impy xxx

MaeWest · 30/12/2007 22:34

Loads of lurgies in our house too Wallace, hope Leo feels better soon.

Wallace · 31/12/2007 19:15

Seems to have stopped being sick, but his - very frequent - poopy nappies smell like something has died.

Twink - If his rash is ringworm (which I doubt) he could have picked it up at my PIL's croft I suppose. Been meaning to say did you see the photos of Leo? The photographer lives near you (very near I think!)

Anyway everyone have a great night!!!!
