Hi ladies. Where is everyone????

CD, your curry sounds grand - was it??

Our tea was pants, and I have just had to eat a flake to make up for it

I am knackered tonight. Poor dh is too. He came home, gave K a bottle, had pants tea and has gone off to wrap presents for the School Association. He then has to be up at 5.30 for a flight to Dublin!

Right, I think I might go to bed soon, so see you lovely lasses tomorrow. xx

tcmummy · 15/11/2007 21:01

Thanks for all the support after my whinge earlier

Just seen this Soooo lovely. Hope and pray they are all ok.

cazboldy · 15/11/2007 21:05

oooggs · 15/11/2007 21:12

tcmummy · 15/11/2007 21:22

PillockOfTheCommunity · 15/11/2007 21:50

Good evening anyone out there!

Ooggs - well done for the night - lets hope for another today
BWI - your GP is an idiot
Octo - poor you and poor little Ernie. Have you got anyone who can come and help out for a bit - you need to rest
SPB - oooooh moving very
CD - my dh makes a mean curry too. I think he is getting a bit carried away now though as keeps going to the spice shop and coming back with more and more stuff to make his own tikka blend

Hello everyone else

Well today has been very good with one grotty bit so will get that over with first: the vendors of the house we want have accepted an offer from another party - who has nothing to sell So it looks like we're out of that one. I was very disappointed for about ten mins or so but now feel a lot better - if this is the house for us - then something will happen and we will still get it. If it isn't then that's because something better will arise What's really good is that the people who have made us an offer came back tonight (after we had had the news about the other house) for a second look. They are both lovely and hugely enthusiastic about the house so provided they can sell theirs we should be sorted with a buyer If we can't find something as good as the other house then we'll rent for 6 months - something is bound to come up in that time so one way or the other we will move
B and other girls all lovely today and dh absolute star. When he came home on Tuesday (when I was rather frazzled) he said he would take girls to school today - he did, giving B her breakfast (she had milk from me at 6) and then taking her in pram so I had lots of extra sleep and then got woken with my breakfast in bed! He is away quite a lot with work and I don't mind doing all the parenting stuff - but it is lovely to get a little break like that B and I had a nice walk this afternoon on way to get girls and I've just finished some Ben and Jerrys Fudge Brownie so all in all I feel very fortunate!

NorthernLurker · 15/11/2007 22:02

HI POTC - may I offer you a manly pat on the back then - thoroughly bracing and robust you understand - just to help you with the cleaning

elkiedee · 15/11/2007 22:04

NL, sorry to hear about the house but glad your dh looked after you.

NorthernLurker · 15/11/2007 22:11

Thanks Elkie - I am very fortunate I know. Re the house - having been very disappointed a few hours ago I now feel quite excited at the prospect of what we might find instead - sure that'll wear off soon!

StealthPolarBear · 16/11/2007 07:09

Morning everyone
NL sorry to hear about the house If you do rent though, you'll be in a fantastic position to buy, hope you find the house of your dreams!
SOL, hope your DH got away OK and not too tired.
Well I know I'm MNing but so far I have emptied the washing machine and dishwasher, filled them again, cleaned mat and bib from feeding time at the zoo last night, dried dishes, fed and changed stinky, and made my own breakfast.
Looks pathetic when I write it down, I felt like I'd done a lot for 7am

Eddas · 16/11/2007 08:01

Morning Dd was a pita this am, i mean really is 5.30 time to wake up? Erm no not in my head DS slept til 7ish, much more respectable

Have put 2 more photos on my profile showing my dc are the same child

Off to register dd at the school I want her to go to this morning whilst she's at preschool.

Got the quiz night for our preschool tonight. I've been selling tickets but no-ones been buying so it won't be too much of a competition! oh well.

elkiedee · 16/11/2007 08:49

smb, know what you mean, there's so much work to do that's just necessary maintenance. I hope you manage to find some time to come and play with us.

Sorry you had a bad morning Eddas. D woke up totally at c 3 am to 4.45 am. I had got some sleep as I changed his nappy and then handed him over to dp to feed, but I don't think I'd really slept before that as I seem to have got up 5 times to put his dummy in and give him his cuddly carrot. It's all a bit of a blur.

Plan for now, finish my breakfast croissant, change D into what I'm going to take him out in then share a piece of toast with him, then I will see if I can get him to sleep in the pram. Then even if I end up waking him to leave the house, he will had some food. I know he's not wasting away but the daytime nap/feed schedule is hard to work out!

elkiedee · 16/11/2007 09:42

He's asleep! Never got him out of the house, realised he'd fallen asleep on my lap just as we'd finished our piece of toast.

StealthPolarBear · 16/11/2007 10:26

ouch
must get on xx

Eddas · 16/11/2007 10:32

SHOO

my Take That tickets just came in the post

StealthPolarBear · 16/11/2007 10:35

We have no water!!!

StealthPolarBear · 16/11/2007 10:36

That was at TT tickets, obv not at no water

Eddas · 16/11/2007 10:51

oh no why no water? not good

runnyhabbit · 16/11/2007 11:17

morning all

Very happy cos its my day off Mum has the boys on a Friday, so she can practice before I go back to work

spb pants at no water. Have you rang water board (or whatever their called now) and played the "I have a very young baby, what are you going to do about it" card? Great news about the move. Can we all come to the house warming? Now get off the 'puter

eddas v of TT tickets. I think they look much better now. And loving the pics

nl I too am a great believer in fate, and if the house is meant to become your home, it will happen (and as spb says, renting will put you in a great position for buying)

bwi What the fuck hell is your gp on about? This makes me so mad

I know that I am v lucky to have a fab hv and gp. But what really frustrates me is that I shouldn't have to feel lucky, iyswim. Everyone should have the same level of care. And what on earth did they do before these sodding charts? Nothing - they just used good old fashioned common sense. Honestly

and breathe.......

everyone else hello

Well, W has decided that shuffling on his belly, backwards, is the best way of moving around, although yesterday, he did manage to get his leg stuck under the settee Looked mighty pleased with himself too! Thing is, I'm having to tell J to keep his toys out of W reach. All J wants to do is play and share with his lil brother

Am now going to sit on my arse do some housework

see you later peeps
x

StealthPolarBear · 16/11/2007 11:18
