Evening all,
Gosh, we are going to need a new thread again soon. Not surprising though, I turn my back for a day and you lot have filled another page. I do love reading through everyones posts while I am sitting here on sleeping baby duty, it makes me feel like I have company so thank you all .
frolic that nursery rhyme CD sounds amazing. I felt exceptionally patriotic and I'm not even Welsh! The power of a great voice and a cracking tune.
joskar Shit, I really hope you are able to get some rest to get over your illnesses. Best wishes to you for a speedy recovery
grok well done for going out, best thing you could've done. It'll be so much easier next time. Its really important that you still do stuff that you enjoy doing, you are not just someone's Mum you are a whole unique individual in your own right and you have to take time to nurture that side of you.
clstow sorry, I know nothing about ff really but I do agree that there is a shockingly small amount of info out there for you. When we started combination feeding grumpy 1 with follow-on milk I felt the same level of bamboozlement. I cant remember exactly what we did (it was 4 years ago and I've had very little sleep since then!) but I assume we just went off the side of the box.
fatty grumpy 1 is maternal like that with grumpy 2! I have noticed that she is especially thoughtful when there are other people around, particularly visitors. I think she loves having people say what a great sister she is so she really makes the effort in public. It's fair enough I reckon, she gets much less attention than she used to (and she was an 'only' for over 4 years) so I can see why she does it.
siani any sign of the cat? everything awesome cake! dozy glad you had a good night out.
fanby gorgeous photos, both of them. Looks like it was a magical day out. Well done Molly also, every baby I know (including mine) has crapped themselves with fear at the sight of Santa. Fair enough really, we spend that much time telling them not to talk to strangers and then once a year we encourage them onto some dodgy old blokes lap. Bonkers really . I have a horrible cold now and am feeling very sorry for myself but have just eaten most of a box of M&S Christmas Yule Logs so that has cheered me up!
And as for Father Christmas.... well of course he is real. You can't be part-Finnish and not believe. For the record he is actually called Joulu Pukki and he lives at Korvatunturi in NE Finland with the Tonttu's. As a child in Finland he comes to your house on Christmas Eve to deliver your presents, on a sleigh. We get ours first that's why you lot have to wait until the 25th. Obviously, he can't get round to everyones house personally - that would be crazy - thats what you have parents for .
