eggkr · 08/04/2012 10:38

Have fun! give wiggs an air kiss from me.
Who'd have though wiggs would have all the meet ups when she lives on an Island Grin

Ems Its looking like Wedneday for the big Weston trip. Do you think you can meet for a 99 on the pier?

blizy · 08/04/2012 11:15

We are having mil round later for dinner and viewing of the wedding pics! (only just got then on Thursday)

Dh is in the dog house today, he was roaring drunk last night. I don't normally mind but he was a Nasty drunk last night. He has spent this morning grovelling and is now making breakfast, I wonder what else I can get him to do today?Wink

eggkr · 08/04/2012 18:02

bliztyThey are twats when they are drunk.I remember not long after i had met dh he was pissed on the phone and called me a tart Shock I hung up and refused to speak to him for days.He denied he had said it until i made him phone a friend who was with him who confirmed it. He crapped himself then especially as i refused to talk to him.He even came to my work to take a statement from someone and i haughtily ignored him. I dont think he will ever call me names again Grin
All not too bad here.Mil gave us a lie in then they managed to be mildly gratefull for lunch. Ella has been kicking off all over the place cos she is so tired so there are a few cats bum mouths here haha.I drank too much wine and said bastard in convo but i beat them as scrabble too.

Emski76 · 08/04/2012 19:41

Ledkr, glad Ella was so great in her show, think she's heading for a life of show biz?? I have to work Wednesday otherwise I'd def meet you. Will have to make it another time, am gutted as relly wanted to meet you and your brood! Enjoy the pier!hope it stays dry for you.

Have had a busy weekend, church a few times, lots of eating out, playing in the woods, Puxton Park, am looking forward to a nice relaxing day alone tomorrow as dh is taking the boys to the in laws! Yippee!!

Four4, have a fab time in Belfast! Enjoy meetingWiggles! Piccies please!

Blizy, shame dh was a drunken fool last night. My dh is a silly soppy sleep on the bathroom floor drink!

Just ate one of the boys Easter eggs, well they shouldn't eat too much choccie so I guess I'm helping them really!

ILovePonyo · 08/04/2012 20:35

Evening,

Well we have had a slightly boring day today, A has been either v adorable or v annoying, she has been hitting me in the face in a rage and when I say no and move her arm she screeches and hits herself in the head instead Shock Nutbag. I also seem to have spent most of the day saying "don't eat cat food Anya, no NO NO" then just move the stupid cat food out of the way. grr.

We were at my mums yesterday which was lovely though, saw my auntie and uncle who were visiting. Ooh and got A a forward facing carseat - think she loves it Grin

Anyway enough about me - blizy how is your dh today? Hope he has been making up for being an eejit and being nice to you and got you lots of easter eggs

ledkr Grin at you saying bastard to pil. Well done Ella and aww at her being tiny on stage. Oh and to answer your question (ages ago) my shoulder is ok-ish, I went to the docs last week because it was making me feel aick it was so painful, she prescribed me some cocodamol (sp?) which i've taken at night a couple of times, still taking ibuprofen during the day. Done a physio referral too but it is feeling better now. Thanks for asking! Grin Hows yours?

Four4and wiggles enjoy the meet! Exciting

reastie how was the easter egg hunt?! Am curious to hear how you and dsis got on Grin

Hi everyone else. Where is Borg btw?

Tarlia · 08/04/2012 22:03

Happy Easter, you lovely lot [busmile]. hope you've all eaten half your body weight in chocolate today!!

Hugs to the babies from Z and I!

blizy · 08/04/2012 22:06

Hello everyone.

I have not had any chocolate todayShock.
Dh is still grovelling and getting me a kitten GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
We were touring the shelters today with no luck. My mums friend's cat had kittens though she has one left, a little boy with twitch.

ILovePonyo · 08/04/2012 22:15

Happy Easter tarlia! Grin

Blizy a kitten?! Wow he must be feeling guilty Wink cuuuuute though. My advice is get 2 (yes really) they entertain each other and cuddle up to sleep together, it's very cute and no more work than 1.

wigglesrock · 08/04/2012 22:20

Tarlia lovely to hear from you, hope you and Z are well xx

blizy yay to the kitten, we had a cat for years before getting the dog, I loved him, he was a right miserable sod but we got on fantastically Grin, Mr W and he were not the best of friends Grin

Had a lovely day, the treasure hunt was good fun, the girls loved it, nearly as much as my Mum! and thankfully the bloody rain held off for about 30 mins today!!

We are home with enough Easter eggs to sink a ship! And several cuddly bunnies, chicks etc

ledkr so glad Ellas show went well, you must be so proud of her x

Am working tomorrow [busad]

Emski76 · 08/04/2012 22:48

Blizy, wow a kitten!! Oh I would love a kitten! You lucky thing, dh must be feeling quite bad about last night!

Ponyo, Noah hits my chest and when I say ow he laughs! Glad your shoulders a bit better.

Oh yes, Reastie, how did your egg hunt go? I hope you won!

Right, best go to bed now. Night all x

blizy · 09/04/2012 13:01

Yay, I am picking up my kitten this evening, he is very cute. A little grey fluffy 8 week old! So excited GrinGrinGrinGrin

Hope you are all having a good day. Grin

reastie · 09/04/2012 14:19

ponyo I was just channel flicking and fim4 was showing 'ponyo' and I had to put it on Grin

blizy yeah for the kitten - DH must've been feeling really guilty! Photos of said kitty please Grin

Egg hunt here postponed due to bad weather and Mum and Dad both being unwell I always lose anyway.

wiggles hope work is going OK. Are you quiet on bank hols or really busy as not many people at work? When is the four4 and wiggles meet taking place?

deb when you're back, hope Imy is better now

Am busy trying to pack for holiday. Went to sainsburys earlier as it's 25% off clothing and got Alice some more bibs and a waterproof. I'm anticipating a very wet holiday next week Hmm . Oh, and working tomorrow - revision session. Who said teachers don't work in their holidays?! Angry

americanexpat · 09/04/2012 15:52

blizy - Envy Definitely get two kittens, it's actually much easier than one! We adopted our two cats together when they were little kittens and they're inseparable now.

I think it's been ages since I posted. Our visitors have been here 5 days and are starting to get on my nerves. Grin L is teething and has been a nightmare. He smashed his head into my nose last week and left the tip of my nose horribly bruised. I think some people were a bit Hmm at DH.

blizy · 09/04/2012 16:17

American- we are getting one cat, that's enough for us. Just been to pets at home and spent a fortune on toys, bed and litter tray. Just waiting on Dh showering, then we will go and collect our new arrival. I will post pics soon.Grin

blizy · 09/04/2012 18:47

Yay, my cat is here! We Named him Alfie and he is adorable. He seems to be settling very well. I will put pics up later when I'm on the laptop.

eggkr · 09/04/2012 20:58

Blizy-congrats on Alfie,dh had a cat called that but he lost him in a custody battle with the ex Grin

Bit mememe but i thought you'd like to hear about the pil.

Nice weekend actually, lots of anality and anxiety surrounding food though.
They were up early having breakfast which involves setting the table etc Hmm me and dh dropped Dilly downstairs and went back up to bed lol.
We came down about 10 and at 10.30 mil was flapping about getting hot cross buns and coffee ready for "elevenses" and getting all stressed cos fil wasnt ready for it. Oddbodds.

About an hour later there was much discussion re lunch so i suggested we go to the pub as i was a bit sick of making food and clearing up after.

We went for lunch and fil actually paid but it was horrible cos they kept picking on Ella for fidgeting, putting feet on seat and were being a bit nasty.

Mil also told her yesterday that she had to get dressed and couldnt eat chocolate till after lunch so i was pissed off already.

Then dh told her off for chasing D around the pub (my local, now everyone, full of kids etc.) I felt so bloody angry cos he sat with them all smug and suggested he look after his own baby as Ella isnt allowed.I then pointed out to him and fil that they leave the toilet seat up which is also rude imo Grin

Then we got home-4pm and i felt ill,all sweaty and weak and then had the shits so went off to bed thinking pil will surely leave soon.

Woke at 6,they still sat here and start to talk about tea Shock at this point i said "what you are hungry?blimey im still full from lunch" which we ate at 3.30!

All i wanted to do was lie on my sofa and shit in the downstairs loo but still they stayed.

I ended up in my bedroom whilst my baby was monopolised and my food was eaten Angry

Why would they not leave?I was clearly ill and pissed off, they have a 3 hr drive and work tomorrow, what is wrong with them?

Dh was fed up too and I told him that he had to get rid and tell them i was asleep as if i had to kiss the feckers goodbye i would bite a bloody chunk out of their cheeks Grin

AIBU? It seems as if we are back to square one with them trampling over anything we want and doing as they please.

I will not be having them here for a good long time now.

All of you who know Ella will know that she is the last child on earth to be picked up on behaviour, she is really tolerant of them and the whole family. She had to have pound easter eggs whilst Dilly had fucking thortons bunnys sheep and pigs and says nothing.

And this from the parents of a 34 yr old man who lays n the soaf in pjs watchinf footy at xmas whne the children are there. Cheek.

If you read all that then have some Wine

eggkr · 09/04/2012 21:02

Oh yes and not so much as a pint of milk towards 3 days food.

wigglesrock · 09/04/2012 21:21

blizy yay for Alfie Grin

ledkr I really don't know how you put up with pils, am afraid I'd be heading for the hills at the mention of their next visit. Not very nice the way they treat Ella either Angry

Hopefully am meeting up with four4me on Wednesday afternoon Grin, busy enough at work. Well to be honest had a really easy Saturday night, hid in the storeroom and read the Hunger Games all evening! Although we have loads booked in tonight so tomorrow shoud be fun Hmm

Well Febbers I've done a silly thing Grin have caved and Sofia is having four friends over on Thursday afternoon, oh and Olivia is having one as well! May have to actually clean the house or at least the girls rooms!!

PS Think we are about to run out of thread Shock I'm all out of witty titles Grin

ILovePonyo · 09/04/2012 21:22

Hi all, it took an hour to settle A tonight, what the frig?!

Well ledkr sounds pretty typical behaviour from your pil unfortunately, feel for you :( And poor Ella - feel a bit annoyed on her behalf, shes so sweet and helpful bless her. grr. The staying late is ridiculous too, they really cant take a hint can they?! Well I can say for definite YANBU.

blizy eeeeeeek! Your kitten is soooo cute!

Gah A has just started crying, better go. Back later :)

NeedToSleepZZZ · 09/04/2012 21:52

aahhh, cheers wiggles! we're doing well thanks, how are you? I think B might be the last child to walk ever Grin

How are things with you? I really appreciated your help with OH's drinking, he saw a counsellor and hasn't touched the stuff in nearly 5 months now! It's amazing what a difference it has made he can still be a real pain though. Thank you though, it really did help.

Looking forward to catching up with all the news and saying hello to everyone! Must try to get some sleep in a bit though as B has taken to getting up at 5am Angry lately. I will return tomorrow, so pleased to be home!
