WIGGLES Thats not like you my friend.Maybe you need some early night and good food. When i get like that all the fecking time i try to see it as a warning and get plenty of sleep, eat well, exercise and plan something fun.
I am always waiting for shit to happen as it always has done but im so old and synical that i think "at least it wont be a shock" Grin

wigglesrock · 04/04/2012 19:54

blizy I'm actually afraid of the amount of organising she has done Grin My dad used to just throw a few eggs around the back garden but last year the girls sniffed them out in 3 mins flat so she's decided to prolong the agony excitement. The girls wouldn't eat that much chocolate so she has got little plastic eggs, and egg shaped smellies etc, unfortunately this is the year Olivia has decided she would like millions of Easter eggs Grin

Wiggles - Grin at your mum.

Reastie- I had a dream about you last night. I was staying with you, you were about to make some bread but Alice had buried the recipe in the garden. We were digging up the garden with wooden spoons looking for it. We found every other recipe (seems like Alice was busy) buried except for the bread one! GrinGrinSmile

debka · 05/04/2012 07:26

Hi and bye from me, off to a show with the blasted pils, back on Tuesday, wish me luck peeps!!

ILovePonyo · 05/04/2012 20:01

Hi all - too late now but debs enjoy your hols Shock Grin

blizy Confused and Grin and your dream, thats so funny. I agree it must be so hard for you to look through Z's things, this might sounds odd but thank you for sharing, it makes me grateful for A even when shes being annoying, also its such a personal thing for you to share I feel honoured you can tell us. Hope you don't mind me saying.

Four4 first steps, yay! Love the though of doing little britain style walking whenever your back is turned tho, haha.

mizK my pil cooking is crap too but at least they are grateful when dp I cook for them. Agree lots of alcohol is the way to go with the hols, bet fil will love it if you wear a bikini Wink ha sorry couldn't resist.

reastie I've never had A's feet measured, I'm sure she'd hate it and shes not walking yet so no need? Loved the mc story Grin

A fell down the bottom 2 stairs this morning, I was stood right by her and still didn't manage to catch her in time, what a div. She had a lovely red bump on her forehead this afternoon Blush

Oh and this is funny - pil sent an easter card, fluffy chick and 'mallow bunny' for A, on the back of the box there was an ingrediants list and next to all the E numbers it says "please note - E129, E122, E104 may have an adverse effect on activity in children" Grin No way is A having any of that after the calpol fiasco! I've eaten some though, its well tasty.

wigglesrock · 05/04/2012 20:08

Evening all, had good day here, had friends over this morning and Sofia finished school so let the holidays begin Grin

debka good luck with pils Grin

reastie was watching the news re hosepipe ban and thinking of your dh and work, is he buggered now? - so to speak Grin

Four4Me Isabel is lovely, and very excited about you coming over, it was a bit like the blind leading the blind with directions but we got there in the end. Mr W had to go into work and I'm hopeless with directions Grin. I said to Isabel that if she has any problems with the carseat or travel cot just give us a ring and I'll send him over to sort it out Grin Seriously its a 15 minute drive when you know the way so don't hesitate to give us a ring if you need anything dropped over. Not to tempt fate but looks like the weather is improving [fingers crossed]

ponyo x posted - I cracked and opened one of the "spare" Easter eggs we have and shared it with Anna, I don't think I've ever seen her so happy Grin A has decided that instead of climbing up things she prefers to try and launch herself down the stairs Shock

OP posts:
ILovePonyo · 05/04/2012 20:16

Ah A has had a fair bit of easter egg today too, pure happiness! Enjoy the hols :)

reastie · 05/04/2012 21:22

blizy what a funny dream definitely wouldn't put that past Alice Grin . Btw I think I would be exactly the same as you re: Zoes stuff. I was thinking of you yesterday as I had a sad moment thinking about my mc and what might have been. I think about it every now and again and feel all sad then thought of you and how much harder it must be as it's incomparable really.

wiggles egg hunt sounds great. Our family have an egg hunt every year and my sister wins EVERY YEAR. We both take it extremely seriously Blush , which makes it all the more annoying at how much better she is at it than me. Re: hosepipe, I don't think DH uses one at work. He just maintains gardens so it's more weeding and mowing than hosepiping Grin

four4 excellent on the walking. I was really Sad I might miss Alices first steps when I went back to work but she did them when I was around assuming no one has fibbed to me to make me feel better

ponyo Alice has had a day of bumps today - she also has a big lumpy bruise on her face Blush

deb enjoy the break Hmm

Well, Alice had another screaming in pain fit this afternoon for 45 minutes non stop rolling on the floor in agony Shock . I was just getting my bag ready to take her to hospital as I didn't know what to do then she calmed down Hmm . My nurse DM came over and said it was prob really bad wind as her tummy was really bloated and hard. Poor little mite.

Four4me · 05/04/2012 21:57

Thanks wiggles you have been so kind getting Isabel sorted out. So excited about coming over, I think Isabel is too till Archie starts to wreck her flat!!

Hope that Alice is ok now? She is having a rough time at the mo isn't she reastie just keeping you on your toes.

Oh go on ponyo let her have some Easter bunny you meanie, I'm sure A would love a good wild party!!

Bye deb have fun.

Your dream was so funny blizy

tadjennyp · 06/04/2012 01:03

Poor Alice, she is having a tough time of it - hope she feels better soon. Boo to all the bruises the babies are getting.

Hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend with lots of chocolate and the weather improves for you too. Have a great trip Deb and Four4!

Thinking of you blizy.

Happy Easter!

eggkr · 06/04/2012 10:19

reastie How is she today.Dgs was ill yesterday and threw up all over my sofa I am so tired,we were in Bristol all day (she came 1st and 2nd) then drove back to the theatre for 7then back home where dil was here with dgs she went home then ran out of petrol so i had to go out to get some then while i was out he threw up so had to clear all that up whilst she rang the dr TO MY HOUSE! It was 10pm so i had to go out and get Ella and dh i had had nothing to eat so we stopped at mcds and ate there. Turns out he has tonsilitis but what a night. We didnt go to sleep till gone midnight and up at 6.30 so I am beyond tired. Have to go shopping for the greedy pils am trying to think of something boring and crap for Sat as i think half my problem is making it too nice.

ponyo Did you see the quack about your shoulder? Mine still hurts most nights in bed so i take brufen before i go to sleep which helps.

Well heres to a good easter weekend ladies and families.Ill be stocking up on wine and intend to chill for a bit as i feel ive earned it.
I will of course be checking in for the pil support group and to update you on the antics.Weather aint too good so I guess there will be plenty of sitting around drinking tea and making small talk

blizy · 06/04/2012 10:37

Ledkr- well done ella! Your poor couch and gs. Sounds like you had a hellish day yesterday, hope the in laws behave themselves this weekend.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend, I have nothing planned. I think I will be drinking wine and chilling with Dh, he is due back today !Grin

reastie · 06/04/2012 12:23

Hello!

ledkr what a day yesterday for you Shock . Hope dgc improves soon. Ella sounds like she's going to be a proper professional styley dancer when she's older Grin

We have no excitement planned for easter break apart from alice eating double her body weight in hot cross buns - she loves them Grin . DH works bank holidays so just a normal day today. We were due to see Granny but she's unwell, and now my Mum is unwell (same bug) so sounds like Easter with my family has been cancelled. Will see PIL at week end though. Can't wait Hmm .

Alice fingers crossed seems OK today. Has been eating non stop all morning and keeps doing the food and more baby sign which I find so hard to say no to Grin but hasn't had a nap despite my attempts to her her down. Hoping this means a really long nap this afternoon . She's getting v tricky to feed now as she won't let me feed her with a spoon - she HAS to do it herself which makes for so much mess and I'm never sure how much she actually gets in her mouth. Keeps her quiet I guess Hmm

blizy yeah for MrBlizy returning home. How long before he goes away again?

eggkr · 06/04/2012 18:38

reastie Dilly wants to feed herself too,i hate it especially the bit where i try to wrestle the spoon from her mouth and lose so it ends up flying through the air and going everywhere.

NB. Dozy dh has just left the handbrake off the car and its rolled into the rd smasshing into a street sign! I am so bloody angry the car is quite damaged.I just had some wine and cant bring myself to talk to him Angry

wigglesrock · 06/04/2012 19:16

ledkr Oh God, well here's hoping things can only be on the up Grin

reastie When I need to keep Anna out of the way for 15 mins or so, I plonk her in the highchair with a spoon and a yogurt and let her rip!

blizy enjoy dh the weekend Grin

Had another lovely day, I took the girls away for the day to National Trust park/estate thing and we had a fab time. Have put up some photos of Wiggles girls DAY OF FUN a la Friends Grin

OP posts:
blizy · 06/04/2012 22:14

Oh no ledkr!

Dh and I went to nandos for dinner, I had an extremely close call in the car. I was driving along the dual carriageway and went To change lane, stupidly didn't check my blind spot- very near miss! My hear is still pounding having a glass of wine to calm down.Shock

Grin at the messy babies.

reastie · 06/04/2012 22:19

wiggles love the piccies, and it does look like a day of fun Grin . Anna looks just like you in the top piccie.

ledkr cripes, I would be really annoyed too

Well, Alice has turned into a tantrum making machine. She must be learning her stubbornness from Dilly Grin . She has been throwing screaming leg kicking fits all day for the slightest thing. It's gettng really old now. She's also seeming very mummyish, not sure if it's as she had all my attention and whatever she wanted when she was ill and now she can't deal with not having her every whim met. The screaming in pain fit she did for 45 minutes yesterday when I was going to take her to hospital - I'm now wondering if that was just a hissy fit which for a bit out of control Hmm . Any advice on how to deal with her/what to do or not do?

reastie · 06/04/2012 22:28

x posted blizy - how scary. I had a near accident once -an oil spillage on the dual carriageway and i lost control of my car at over 70mph Shock I definitely had to sit down after that one as I went really shaky. Glad you were Ok and no one was hurt

wigglesrock · 06/04/2012 22:41

blizy I have a terrible blind spot in my car.

reastie I leave Anna for a bit, she's a leg kicker as well, sometimes it escalates to full on lying down and kicking of legs Blush. After a few minutes I pick her up and do something else, move to a different part of the room. The past week she has started to open our fridge, its at a low level and eat stuff through the plastic or walk about carrying 3 litres of milk Shock I had enough yesterday and tied the handle with a scarf - she discovered it this morning and threw a 10 minute hissy fit. I ignored her completely, she gave up and hasn't went near the fridge all day. All our downstairs is in one big room, so we can't keep her out of the kitchen Grin

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend pils permitting! I am working tomorrow day and night so will catch up on Sunday after my Mums infamous egg hunt, she's been printing out tips from t'internet Shock, me and my sister are Envy

OP posts:
tadjennyp · 06/04/2012 23:00

Oooh, sorry about your car ledkr, and your near miss too blizy. I have had a couple of accidents and they are full on scary. Hope the car isn't too damaged and easily fixable?

Sammy likes to go to the food cupboard and take boxes of cereal out, then proceed to drop most of it on the floor! Easier to sweep up then mop up litres of milk, wiggles, but quite frustrating! Not doing too much of a tantrum, but throwing his head back till it hits the floor is the equivalent I guess. Glad Alice is feeling better though.

Loving the pictures. I think we can safely say that our dcs are the best looking on the net! Have a lovely Easter.

reastie · 07/04/2012 07:26

Thanks for the advice. So far, ignoring has just made her build herself into a manic state which can't be saved by anything except a bf Hmm . wiggles I Grin at Anna wandering around with big bottle of milk - just the sort of thing Alice would do. She made me laugh yesterday as I was in the bath and she came in with one of my socks trying to put it in the bath. When I kept throwing it out of the bath having caught it from getting wet she just kept getting it and trying again. Eventually I threw it so far she couldn't find it so she went out of the bathroom for a few minutes, I thought she had given up, but then came back with a whole armful of my socks and threw them all in Grin.

Yesterday thought I'd try something different with Alice in the hope of stopping her annoying behaviour - got a tub of water on the kitchen floor and we made bubbles in it and then put some cutlery/tubberware in there to bang about and play with. Not a good move. She got water EVERYWHERE then threw a tantrum as I wouldn't let her drink the washing up liquid filled water. Then she was so wet I had to take her clothes off so that led to another tantrum. Then she was so wet I thought I may as well give her a bath. That didn't go down well either wish I'd never bothered! That'll teach me.

Btw wiggles enjoy the easter egg hunt, and please pass on details so we can steal all your mums research for next year Grin

tad yes, definitely best looking babies I think Grin

eggkr · 07/04/2012 19:38

Well thats home made lasagne, salad and garlic bread polished off without any mention Shock Its really weird.
They have gone off to the Theatre to see Bugsy now so i am just getting in the bath with Dills before having a few peacefull wines and going off to bed.

I saw Dills today in her show, she was blinding,i am very proud she looked so tiny on stage.

She has got strict instructions to come up for cuddles when she comes back home.

I am watching the voice,i absolutley love it,so much better than the other tat talent shows.

Happy Easter all,i hope you have more gratefull guests than me or are a gratefull guest yourselves.
Dil is coming tomorrow and is going to thank me profusely after lunch Grin

reastie · 07/04/2012 21:15

ledkr you saw Dills in her show?! Methinks you've been at the wine too much Grin Wink . Glad Ella's show was good of course she would be great . I just came on to see if there was any juicy PIL chat from you Grin .

Happy Easter everyone. DH already eaten 2 chocolate eggs Envy . My sister is limbering up for our easter egg hunt tomorrow. I'll never win it

eggkr · 07/04/2012 22:31

Grin at limbering up reastie didnt i tell you Dilly had a part in the play? haha

Only funny pil story so far would be me sat with wine watching a movie then realising they were due back from the theatre and running around like a blue arse fly to get up to bed before they got back teehee.

I juat cant believ they dont show any gratitude for a meal.Im going to give them beans on sodding toast tomorrow.
