Boak to ponyos poo story and double boak to americans cat poo one - yuck. Alice once ate cat food and I thought that was bad enough Shock

ledkr and american I'm useless at diets too. The thing that works for me is to get the exercising going and then the diet tends to follow on after that, I've never managed it the other way around which maybe is why I've failed since Alice.

four4 hope the trip to see wiggles goes well Grin

Well, I had to take the day off work today to look after Alice - she was sick 4 times this morning before I was due to leave Sad - DM was concerned as Alice is very mummyish and just cried with her. She has spent the whole day on my lap looking really sorry for herself. DM (a nurse) said not to take her to the GP unless I really wanted to as they can't actually give her anything or do anything for her symptoms at the min. The mouth rash has now gone. I just want my happy baby back Sad

debka · 30/03/2012 21:29

reastie poor you and poor Alice :( Isn't it awful when they're poorly :( I really hope she picks up quickly. Glad you could and did take the day off, sometimes LOs just need their Mummies.

MizK · 30/03/2012 22:03

Evening ladies, hope all well?
tad I just wanted to say I'm so sorry to hear about baby Gage, love to you and all your family xxxxxxx Please don't think i'm being dismissive by posting other things to everyone else after this xxxx
reastie how is Alice now? Poor darling sounded v poorly.
wiggles hair looks v sleek and sophis, swit swoo x
ponyo bleurgh to A eating poo, she is adventurous haha!
ledkr feel your pain re diets. I have bitterly struggled and got down to 11 stone 1, not far off my reg weight of 10st 7, so what did I do today? consumed literally well over 3000 calories. Feel sick, and wonder why we self sabotage :( I love being slim but think I love cheese and wine more. dammit.
blizy AF is a horrible lady, your turn will come but I know you're fed up waiting x
Big Fri night waves to everyone else, am in bed with laptop, celeb mag and wine, having just eaten a sickening amount of food...!

ledkr · 31/03/2012 10:54

robin I watch too much geordie shore Grin

mizk I am at my thinnest at 11 stone grrrrr. Good news though,i have defo lost some weight with my loose sw diet. This is going to sound a bit arty farty but i think i have my head around food now.I dont eat for comfort anymore and just make wise choices for most meals but still enjoy a treat now and then. I ave also found these lush choc drinks from aldi for 41 cals which satisfy my sweet craving at night.
reatsie how is she today? Touch wood Dills never seems ill even if she is iyswim. She has been in contact with the pox so im waiting to see.
Bad news is that she failed her hearing test again but this is not unusual with cleft babies as they get glue ear so its probably grommets here we come.

Poor ella came back so tired last night and had dancing straight away. She cried herself sick on Thursday night as she was missing me home.

Wanna hear something spooky?I woke up a few times Thurs night thought i could hear her cry and call me Shock

She was asleep by 9 and i had to wake her at 9am for another rehearsal poor thing, its all coming at once.

We are off to see some vans today as soon as our dilly wakes up from her sleep.

tadjennyp · 31/03/2012 19:18

Not at all MizK. I'm really touched by all of your thoughts and prayers. If he has given us all a moment's pause for reflection and gratitude then he has touched so many in his short little life. The same with blizy's beautiful Zoe. Much loved and missed. xxx

tadjennyp · 31/03/2012 19:25

Didn't want to post in the same post iyswim.

Poor Ella, ledkr, I hope she gets some rest, but she sounds amazing doing all of this! You two sound so close.

How is Alice today reastie? I hope she is much better.

Wanna hear another willy story? Wink E was playing in the bath with a load of squeezy toys. Dh says, 'stop playing with your willy E.' E says, 'it's not a willy, it's a petrol pump for the bus!' Grin Grin

Hope you are having good Saturdays and starts to the Easter holidays.

wigglesrock · 31/03/2012 20:39

All quiet here, still no word on the schools yet, I nearly chased the postman down the street today, incase the letter came when I was at work Blush

The girls are at school until Wednesday/Thursday so a few days of quiet left Grin

Four4me · 31/03/2012 21:51

Tad thinking of your family today xxxxx

so funny about E's petrol pump!! I say to the boys 'not in front of your mother!!!!'

ledkr bless you little tired Ella, shame about the hearing results for Dills. Just the next hurdle, but she's made of tough stuff and will sail through the op. X

tadjennyp · 31/03/2012 22:10

Sorry ledkr, totally skipped over the part about Dilly's hearing test. Hope the grommets work well. They did with my brother. He used to have remedial lessons at school because of his deafness (showing our age there) and ended up running an engineering company. Fingers x'd for Dilly.

ledkr · 31/03/2012 22:21

Thanks,im not too bothered its to be expected and if thats all she ever has then im happy.Shes doing well at the signing too just in case, but she seems to hear everything she needs to such as the rustle of a crisp packet or her sister coming in.

Ella went to bed to watch take me out Grin dh is asleep on the sofa even though i got up at 5.30 but he best sleep well as its my turn to lie in tomorrow woop!

Ella was just showing us her dances-youd think she's have enough by now.

ems We are planning a trip to Weston on the Mud in the hols if you fancy meeting for chips x

blizy · 31/03/2012 22:57

Ledkr- I just read your post about dilly, I hope she doesn't need an op Grin at her her hearing rustling crisp packets though!

Poor Ella must have been exhausted.
How did the camper can shopping go?

Tad Grin at Edward with his petrol pump! When my wee bro was a toddler he practised "puppetry of the penis" Grin

Reastie- hope Alice is feeling better?

I'm having a nice evening with Dh and our friend ( Dh's best man). We had a nice Chinese and I'm chucking back a bottle of rose wineGrin. In looking forward to our trip to the safari park tomorrow.
Dh is taking me to monkey world in Devon over the summer eeeek sooooo excited! GrinGrinGrin

RobinSparkles · 31/03/2012 23:38

Ledkr, hope Dilly goes on ok with her hearing! I've probably mentioned it before but I'm deaf (only partially but wear two hearing aids) and barely notice TBH. The fact that she is already saying words sounds good! I remember that you said she says Ella, Meh you think might be milk etc and the fact that she signs will really help.

Emski76 · 01/04/2012 18:07

Ooh, just a quickie to Ledkr. Please, please make your tripto Weston super Mud on the Friday after Easter. It's the only day I'm free, and am meeting my sister to go on the pier too. I'd love, love, love to meet you!

Hi to everyone else. Will try to pop on again later for proper catch up x

ledkr · 01/04/2012 20:00

Ill see what i can do emsIll be with my sis too and her new baby aw.
No worries if not though cos a trip to w.s.m. is an absolute must when you live here been going since we were kids.My bro lives in France and I text him when the pier was on fire and he was watching it on tv and texting me stuff like "A sad sad day" i could just see him shaking his head Grin Ive not even seen the new pier yet.

robin no i didnt know that. Good for when the girls are noisy then (turn off the aids) haha. Thanks for sharing though do you sign? If we ever meet up you and Dilly could chat. She can say hello goodbye please thanks Mummy Daddy drink and eat.Oh yes and milk of course Grin

wigglesrock · 01/04/2012 20:53

ledkr D will be grand - she's made of tough stuff like her Ma Grin

Hope everyone had a great weekend - I spent this afternoon at a Titanic Tea Dance Grin, don't ask! The things we do for family. My aunt dragged us to it, in her Church - think she may have a Thorn Birds thang going on with the priest Grin and tbh I wouldn't really blame her, he's a bit scrummy Blush Anna had a great time, she kept trying to run off with the bottles of drink that were left for the ballot Blush, it was vvv funny as she kept handing them to my Mum as if to say "there you go Nana, that's what you want" Grin Olivia was soooo bored and made her feelings known by rolling her eyes at everyone and Sofia was mesmorised by the old ladies dancing.

RobinSparkles · 01/04/2012 21:14

Ledkr, I don't sign. Well, I remember a bit from college as I did a little BSL course just out of interest but I've never needed it for myself. My hearing is, what I imagine, is quite normal with my hearing aids in but I can't hear very much without them. Everyone was surprised when my parents found out that I was deaf because I was already talking a lot as I was lip reading.

It's lovely taking the hearing aids out when I have a headache! It's like "ahh, silence!" :o

Emski76 · 01/04/2012 22:09

Ledkr, if not, I can meet on the Thursday but Ben has his swimming lesson at midday so would be limited on time. When the pier burnt down we could see the smoke from work, and watched it on the news. It was a very proud moment when the new pier opened and they've modernised a lot of the seafront too

Robin, I think you mention way back about wearing hearing aids, bet it is lovely to take them out sometimes.

Reastie, sounds like Alice is not much better. I second what people are saying on fb, I've always found both boys to be very sensitive to any dairy after a tummy upset.i hope she's better soon.

Not sure if imentioned that Noah only had booster Friday as the nurse said the government have okayed babies to have booster and MMR is one but she advised against it. He's seemed ok after the booster. MMR booked for May now.

Wiggles, I love the sound of a tea dance! How quaint!

Hi to everyone else. X

RobinSparkles · 01/04/2012 22:18

Did you have to dress in period costume Wiggles? :o

Speaking of Titanic, I'm trying to persuade DH to take me to see it at the weekend (yes, I am sad) but he doesn't seem convinced. I bet it's good in 3D!

Emski, glad Noah was ok after the booster.

Yes, I think I've said about it before. I definitely remember talking about it on the June 07 thread. I just wanted to reassure Ledkr that it's made no difference to me and probably won't to D :)

ledkr · 01/04/2012 22:24

Jeeeze that girl has a temper. She gets really cross if things done go her way eg getting the wrong shapes in the shape sorter leads to much smacking of said sorter and lobbing of shapes Shock
Yesterday she was crying in the car seat but i was nearly home so she just had to lump it.She got so annoyed that she was slapping herself in the face Confused Me and dh think we are in for trouble.

debka · 01/04/2012 22:33

S can be a bit like that ledkr, if she gets annoyed with something she tries to bite it Hmm quite funny when it's her highchair, less so when it's the dog Grin She may be trouble but at least she'll be interesting :)

I remember you saying about it before sparkles, and being slightly jealous of a quick and easy way of shutting the DDs up Grin

wiggles was that in the new Titanic Centre job they've built in Belfast? We saw it on the news the other day, DH is desperate to visit, first thing I thought was I CAN VISIT WIGGLES!!

emski S had the booster and MMR together. Why did the nurse advise separately for Noah?

I am been unspeakably good on SW this week, want to lose the 3lb I put on last week Blush and a bit more if poss. We're off to Tatton again on Thursday with the PiLs , I want them to be speechless with awe at my weightloss Grin. I just know they won't notice Angry

Grannyapple · 01/04/2012 23:04

Hi ladies...been super busy with work (was in m'chester last week) so had to get dh organised for looking after N, & trying to get running slotted in as much as poss...only 8 wks til the race...eeek!

debka amazing weight loss-PILs must be blind if the don't notice that loss!

tad so sorry to hear your news of your cousins baby-reminds me how fragile life is. Interesting to hear of your friends' child with mitochondrial disease-dh has that-I am running the London Bupa 10k for a charity for mitochondria which focuses on children & research into the rare condition.

reastie how is Alice now? My friends little one has tonsillitis apparently. Not ideal timing either-this is my nct friend whose little girl was born 2 wks before Nate-she had her 2nd girl week before last (3 hr labour & 1 push apparently!). Haven't seen the new arrival yet due to her 1st being ill but hoping to pop along next w/e.

wiggs fab hairdo-really suits you!

No other real news here-just on the treadmill of work, nursery & then cramming everything into the w/e-trying to convince dh to book a week off & see if we can get away somewhere! Talking of which I'd best get some zzz's for work tomorrow!

Emski76 · 02/04/2012 07:01

Morning all
Deb, the nurse said it was up to me but that it's just alot of to inject into their bodies at the same time. Noah's been teething and has a nasty cough and cold so to be honest I was concerned about any sleepless nights! We had to leave a three week gap in between the booster and the MMR too.

Ledkr, D sounds like a right little character! I love it! Noah's fairly chilled but nursery have noticed he shouts and gets upset if he can't have what he wants now. He's been a Mr Clingy Pants with me this last week tho, I literally can't get out of my chair at the dinner table cos he screams and points at me!

Better go, see ya later! Have good days

RobinSparkles · 02/04/2012 07:24

Ledkr, D sounds a lot like L at times. L has a craaazy temper! She's really lazy too. She'll feed herself but will she give herself a drink? No! She points at her cup going "maaaargh" her little face going bright red as if to say "you stupid woman can you not understand that MAAAARGH means I want a drink!" I give it to her, in her hand, and because that's not right she'll have a temper tantrum and throw it! If I walk off she'll pick her cup up and follow me with it! Eventually, I give in and give it to her [soft touch].

I have removed the shape sorter as she kept sticking her hands in the shape holes and getting them stuck, which would again result in a tantrum. Stupid child

Deb, they probably will notice. If they don't comment then they're probably jealous!

Breaking news here - Isabel has a wobbly tooth. I can't believe my baby is getting adult teeth! So early too - she's only 5 in June!

RobinSparkles · 02/04/2012 07:28

Oops, just read that back - I meant that L is lazy as well as having a crazy temper. I didn't mean that she is lazy like Delilah, I wasn't calling D lazy :o

Is L the only Feb baby not walking yet? She cruises around and crawls at the speed of light but has no intention of walking! :o
