Hello new thread! Glad to hear about the
drinking, less glad to hear of the colds.
Well done to pamelas Alex for rolling and highlandbird's Angus for laughing. [hgrin]
Welcome back Catherine - hope you can have a relaxing Sunday to recover.
Does anyone else have a baby which they can no longer leave alone? I can't leave the room, let anyone else hold her (except DH) or she cries.
Is this just a short phase? MIL said they would have DD anytime (first grandchild) but I dare not leave her even for an hour with her in case she cries the whole time. MIL said it wouldn't do her anyone harm, she would hold her the whole time but I can't go out without being confident she would be ok. Do I need to leave her so she gets used to? Surely she doesn't have the ability to understand her mum will always come back? When will she?
Because i'm always with her we have only tried a bottle a couple of times recently (both failed)
As I result i'm turning down lots of social invitations. I said no to the cinema - too long away from her, meals out - early start & I can't guarantee she'll be asleep, drinks - she wakes at 9/10 for her first night feed)
I don't mind at all now but will I come to mind? I go back to January - I hope she's ok then.
