Marvellous!
Which wraps you got left? Feeling loved up and hormonal so after some cute pics. Either size 1 or maybe 2's to fit over the freaking enourmous tots bots fluffle things from TKmax!

Can't see those being viable thil child is 2 - they're just so thick!

treedelivery · 14/12/2008 23:37

Sorry xpost!

TLESinChristmasStockings · 14/12/2008 23:40

I have 3 small B.M wraps which are in the set. I also have some others which I must sort out and get piccies for you!

Errr oh and the eenees which are pretty good. they are like a wrap with a pouch in that you add the prefold/microfibre cloth to and fasten round the back. They are easy to use and although i prefer tots and various other nappies they do the job!

New nappy for me to check out - off to read the webpage.

Love scheming about nappies. Such fun.

TLESinChristmasStockings · 14/12/2008 23:43

tree here you go lol

Colourful stretchy cotton/elastane outer pants with back Velcro fasteners to keep away from little fingers. These new unique nappies have a removable inner waterproof pouch which supports any type of absorbing pad, from pre-fold nappies, rectangular folded cloth and of course our flushable compostable Weenees disposable pads.

No need to change the pants at every nappy change, just take out the wet pad and replace with a fresh one, if the inner pouch is soiled, then this can easily be taken out and a spare pouch snap fastened in. The pouch is easy to wash and dry quickly and is the most efficient design yet for containing messy nappies. Extra inner pouchs can be purchased separately in Small Pouch (for Newborns or can be used in 0-2 size on smaller babies) or Medium size Pouch for use in 0-2 and 2-4 size Pouch Pants.

treedelivery · 14/12/2008 23:45

I don't really get these - are the pouches a faf?

TLESinChristmasStockings · 14/12/2008 23:47

a faf?????

treedelivery · 14/12/2008 23:49

Yeah - like fiddly to get ready to use? Def have a go though, would like to think I'd tried all nappies in spirit of fair competition!

[although biased towards Sandy's as they seem loved by all]

TLESinChristmasStockings · 14/12/2008 23:53

Tree no i didn't find them fiddly tbh, because when ds2 was tiny (and he was very very tiny) it was easy to slip out the dirty microfibre cloth and slip another ready folded on in place.

treedelivery · 14/12/2008 23:56

Oooo go on then! Just bought 3 huge microfibre cloths at local cheapy shop so now I have the perfect use for the resulting pads [mum arrives tomorrow to recieve sewing instructions and order]

TLESinChristmasStockings · 15/12/2008 00:00

Tree email me on

[email protected] will be up for a while ds2 is teething grrrrrrrrrrr

treedelivery · 15/12/2008 00:02

Will do - up for a while as dh is making me cheese toasty and hot choc. Lurve being pregnant!

TLESinChristmasStockings · 15/12/2008 00:04

ohhhhhhh i can't wait to be there again, just let me get the teething out of the way lmao....mind you already have a 9 yr age gap between ds1 and ds2

treedelivery · 15/12/2008 00:08

I wanted at least 5 year gap but managed to concieve by just looking at dh so managed 4 yrs and 3 months.

Its so worth it for weeks of being La Princess. Not wildly keen on the teething bit mind you. Or the stretch marks on my inner thighs. What's that about?

up2myknees · 15/12/2008 09:22

TLES what strange nappies are these???

ChristmasFlower · 15/12/2008 09:30

are these like the mother care smart but with removable hammock thingy?

TLESinChristmasStockings · 15/12/2008 09:49

Flower yep they are, I used them when ds2 was tiny. TBH I used a huge variety of nappies until he started to fill out a bit as he was dinky lol he only weighed 5lb 5oz

4CALLINGBIRDSandnotout · 15/12/2008 10:03

Im missing being pregnant already and dd4 is only 7 weeks There is 3 years 4 months between dd1 & dd2, 2years 6 months between dd2 & dd3 and only 13 months between dd3 & dd4 so i should really have a year off pregnancy!

TLESinChristmasStockings · 15/12/2008 10:09

lol 4Calling, i was fine, didn't want another was happy with just ds1...then i fell pg with ds2 and well now i want another lol

thebluefoxategreensocks · 15/12/2008 13:02

Afternoon everyone!

Got a few more nappies that aren't being used/don't suit Benjamin. Thought I'd put them up here in case anyone wants to buy or even swap something for them!

1 x bright pink WonderWorks Wonderoos BTP, the elastic on the legs is a bit loose, but probably could be easily fixed or good for chubbier legged little ones! Otherwise in excellent condition, no stains etc.

1 x large Swaddlebees OCV fitted pocket nappy, with long adjustable (with popper for folding) microfibre insert, lilac/blue colour, in very good condition

1 x large Happy Heiny pocket nappy, bright neon green colour, in good condition, tho has a couple of small black marks to outside (maybe some kind of ink sort of substance), tho not very visible.

Anyone?

TLESinChristmasStockings · 15/12/2008 13:09

Hi Rachel,

I promise i will get your nappies in the post this week!!!

Are the others ok? does he like the bob wrap?

4CALLINGBIRDSandnotout · 15/12/2008 13:22

Rachel does the ocv need a wrap?

thebluefoxategreensocks · 15/12/2008 14:17

TLES: That's fine, no worries. And yes, Benjamin does like the Bob wrap! Here he is modeling it the day he got it: 4.bp.blogspot.com/_eH3zT2SZkKE/SS8fLvq0-FI/AAAAAAAABF8/3OXKnnxdqLU/s1600-h/blog85.jpg He thinks it's wonderful!

4andnotout: Yes, the ocv does need a wrap. It's one of these: swaddlebees.com/products/fitted_diapers/ovpocket# in the periwinkle colour there on the site.

lollipopmother · 15/12/2008 14:28

4andnotout - Ok thanks, I'll do a 50/50! Is it ok to take the pistachio uncrinkled one, the pumpkin and one pumpkin bleach effect? That leaves you with a white, blue and orange bleach effect, and a crinkly green for spares.

Essie3 · 15/12/2008 14:33

OK, v. v. sick with a bug here but a quick check in before I lose my place completely.
Thanks for all the lovely compliments on my little DS! The angel picture is our Christmas card!
Name is pronounced Yes-tin (it's Welsh). And no, not a preemie, just an exceptionally small baby!! DD+4, and came in at 6.1, which is smaller than some of my friends' preterm babies! We can't explain it apart from the fact that he's 1940s sized.

Can sew the nappies back together in a jiffy, but will be the end of the week now.
