I use BM Trees, the wrap is in contact at the hip and no rubbing or soreness.

I likethe nappy tho i am playing with others on current baby i care for.

Have found other wraps better like the PUL Tots Bots as they are thinner and more mouldable, the BM wraps are sturdy and firm!

Rachel name your price for the HH and is Paypal ok.

I CAN feel the fluff!

treedelivery · 11/12/2008 22:16

Thanks Mat - thought I was missing something in the folding department.

I can feel the fluff! I fact I can see the stuff, nappies in storage poking out from under bed.

hello everyone

My favourite - Motherease Sandy's all the way, just wish that my DD was big enough for the smalls, at the mo she's too big for XS but too small for S . I have a Blueberry Minky and it is gorgeous x 1000, but I dunno, Sandy's are just so bloody reliable. (I haven't had the Blueberry for long enough to say whether it is or not so can't compare).

MatNan - The Bees thing is a Kushie, you know that yeah? I've never used it so I don't know anything about them at all. I have everything you want though. Email me on lorwiggins at yahoo dot co dot uk.

BabyJ - Email me as well and we'll talk boosters, some are hour-glass shaped cotton terry with white fleece top, some are rectangular Motherease ones, no fleece. And I have some hemp mix Swaddlebees too.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 11/12/2008 22:37

MatNan: Does £6 including postage sound OK for it? Paypal would be great - sent to [email protected] and I can get it posted out to you tomorrow!

Oh btw, did you want to see a photo of it? If so, let me know your address and I can take one & send it to you. xx

waves to lollipopmother

thebluefoxategreensocks · 11/12/2008 22:54

treedelivery: Meant to say on other thread, with regard to your mum washing/drying nappies for you, is she going to offer you a nappy laundry service once the baby arrives?! Btw, make sure she doesn't think to boil wash them though - 40 or 60 degree wash is the most you want to do for shaped nappies.

treedelivery · 11/12/2008 22:59

Think she came over a bit fluffy maternal when I was giving her the stash tour. Sadly she lives too far away to be REALLY usefull and do a nightly laundry service! Gave her a lollipop magnet with full instuctions on to stick to her washer though so clearly I have hopes.....

VeeBee3 · 11/12/2008 23:14

Evening!! I see you ladies have been very busy starting part 4! Haven't been able to post as both ds1 & ds2 are poorly and DH completely shattered so has left me and dd as the only functioning humans in our house!! Although i haven't posted i have been lurking when i get the chance.
Quick question for you, does anyone know of a decent brand of terry squares? I have mothercare ones at the mo but would like some more but want more for my money! (and my so stash grows....)

EssieAStarInBethlehem · 11/12/2008 23:14

Anybody for some doctored pop-ins?

thebluefoxategreensocks · 11/12/2008 23:21

VeeBee3: never used terry squares myself, but once had one from Little Ewe and it was lovely and soft - very lush. Might be worth seeing what they're like. I know the Junior Joy one I had before was very poor quality - seemed the Little Ewe one was nearly like 3-4 of them, if I remember correctly.

ilovemydog · 11/12/2008 23:22

Essie - have you found a solution? Am so sad for you as you were so enamoured with the pop-ins.

I'm on a trial at the moment and am frantically trying to keep track of which nappies DS has done his worst and then try and work out what temperature I'm supposed to wash them at! 60 degrees for some and 30 degrees for others...

Going to London for work next week will be a welcome break! Looking forward to all the trashy gossip mags

thumbElf · 11/12/2008 23:26

just thought I'd pop in - haven't been on this thread for aaages.
VeeBee3 - I use folded squares of old wincyette/ flannelette sheet - obviously it helps to have a stash of that (I have my grandmother's) - but do you have any old towels you could cut up?

I wash all DS's nappies at 50 deg - I know I'm supposed to be green but they don't come clean at 40 deg (old washing machine) with Ecover. And I have to use Napisan as well.

VeeBee3 · 11/12/2008 23:34

rachelinscotland: have heard of the little ewe but never tried them, will order a couple to see what they're like. Thanks

thumbelf: No don't have any flannelette sheets but do have some old towels so will give that a whirl in the meantime. Thanks

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 11/12/2008 23:37

I'm confused as well ilmd. I'm using my own nappies as well to bulk out the load, as washing only eight nappies at a time is too wasteful. It'll take me forever to get to the end of the trial at this rate though as I'm only using their nappies every other day!!

We are loving the new tots wraps here though. Not had a leak even though they seem a bit gapey at the legs. My leak the other day was with a diddy diaper and a nature babies wrap!

treedelivery · 11/12/2008 23:40

I wanna be on a trial!!

VeeBee3 · 11/12/2008 23:43

Yeah how do you get to do these trials?? Imagine being able to sample all the lovely real nappies........Heavenly

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 11/12/2008 23:45

will keep you posted if anything else comes up

daisy I am turning into my mother - I am now leaving post it notes all over the place. Left one on the washing machine as to what temperature to wash next load. I so need a life

I've been doing a load at 30 degrees with nappies, but also bulk it out with DD's nappies (DS is the named trial guy )

treedelivery · 12/12/2008 00:00
