Well, my discussions were:

a) enquired how a new job was going
b) talked about my new fridge/freezer arriving today
c) friend who is studying Health/Beauty trying to talk me into being one of her models
d) chat about a local nursery who has adopted a "no cuddle policy"

Hi I'm back - it was tooooo easy today - council have closed the road on the main route to the school. It was the hot topic on everyone's lips as everyone made detours and was late.

ks - stage a road closure - that'll get em talking

littlemissbossy · 20/09/2004 15:47

i'm back too - had non-interesting conversation with a mother about the choice of milk that the reception children drink at break time
mother- "do you think they could arrange to have a supply of organic milk?"
me "oh i really don't know, i suppose you could ask at the office" ...FFS

iota · 20/09/2004 15:49

does non-organic milk come from battery cows?

lou33 · 20/09/2004 15:52

didn't speak to a soul

iota · 20/09/2004 15:52

lou - you need a road closure....get on to it

lou33 · 20/09/2004 15:56

I am still covered in icicles from the frostiness

littlemissbossy · 20/09/2004 15:57

where do you live lou? i'll come and talk to you

lou33 · 20/09/2004 15:58

I bet you wouldn't . SW surrey, not too far from ks, actually.

tamum · 20/09/2004 16:00

I'd talk to you too, lou, honest

Titania · 20/09/2004 16:00

nobody spoke to me either.....i was trying to make conversation about the much publicised closure of the local swimming pool......um.....hello??? anyone.....???

littlemissbossy · 20/09/2004 16:01

how far's that from Leeds? if I set off now, will I get there before it gets dark? oh and could you make me some dinner?

tamum · 20/09/2004 16:02

Blimey, Titania, you would have thought that would reel them in, wouldn't you?

spacemonkey · 20/09/2004 16:03

nobody spoke to me either

i turn up slightly late so i can sweep through the playground, grab ds and sweep out again

really anti social

lou33 · 20/09/2004 16:03

We should start an excluded mums gang

What would you like for dinner?

littlemissbossy · 20/09/2004 16:04

Never mind titania, they're obviously not worth speaking to ... find someone new tomorrow

lou33 · 20/09/2004 16:04

well you KNOW I would speak to you sm

Titania · 20/09/2004 16:04

obviously not tamum..... They were all there going on about it, about when they were going to be staging protests....didnt even get a response when I asked if i could go along with them.....

littlemissbossy · 20/09/2004 16:04
