Sunshine! No rain forecast! I didn’t get any washing ready!

DS2 is up and ready without being nagged/reminded to get up. I would quite like to still be in bed.

Morning, we also have sunshine and no rain, and washing that needs to be done. So I'd better load the machine. I don't know how I cope with all this excitement sometimes .

Idiot kitty has been a little shit this morning - asked for a cuddle and then scratched at my face (injured pride rather than any blood drawn), so he's firmly in the doghouse.

Urgh. Also, I brought all the seedings in last night due to forecast frost. Which didn't happen, so I've put them all out on the patio again.

I'm just very grumpy for no particularly good reason. Which feels par for the course recently. meh.

Am sat at work wondering why we couldn't have had some of this sunshine yesterday when I wasn't at work <harrumphs> Otherwise, not much to report - need to get some chores done in the evenings as DSis & some of her family are staying for one night over the weekend & FancyCat has been shedding........

Afternoon. We had your frost Helen but it’s been quite pleasant since.

I went to put a wash load out and the lawn chappie has left huge bags of grass right under the line. Idiot. They’re too heavy for DH to move so I’ll have to wait for DS or SIL to help. I managed to put some of the shorter stuff out. DH is now tiling the edge of the flat roof. There seems no end to it all.

I’m very grumpy too. <sigh>

Well you're welcome to my frost Apricot - I've done a repeat this evening, since it's still forecast for tonight (and the temperature has been dropping rapidly as the sun went down).

I did manage to get washing dried on the line though, which surprised me. And work was quite productive. It's just that everything feels such a slog right now. <le sigh>

Morning. We had our frost last night, and the bird bath was frozen over this morning, so it was def. worth bringing the plants in last night. Hopefully that will be the end of the frosts though .

I must got and do the BoringOfficeSpreadsheetObsessedJob... Has anyone got any spare enthusiasm or motivation? No? Thought no. Ho hum. Maybe I should book a meeting with Office FAF for no good reason at all other than to cheer us all up.

I am home and in PJs and dressing gown doing comfort-dressing, and tonight I want a bath and book and peace and quiet. Which means I'll be watching a Star Wars spin-off until 22pm or some such nonsense. (I won't, but you know how goes - the best laid plans and all that.)

Another dull weather day. None of the forecast rain has appeared which is a bit annoying. Perhaps it’s saving itself up for the bank holiday weekend.

DS2 on a late start and early finish but it’s good they’ve made provision again for his year on a strike day. And it should mean lighter traffic on the way in for me.

Sunshine and a rapidly vanishing frost for the start of the day. Pluss killer kitty being either stuff full of wildlife, or under the weather - either way he wasn't interested in getting off the chair for either breakfast or fuss. He eventually deigned to move to terrorise Intelligent Cat, who is now hiding upstairs.

DS is off for a normal school day - or at least, and normal hours one. They've kept school open for yrs 10-11, which is good.

Last night's bath'n'book worked - I had a lovely read and forgot entirely about work idiocy

All a bit of a rush this morning as I had to be in early for my appraisal, all was ok & I have been promoted - yay

Otherwise, Worky McWork etc., have made no progress in prepping for weekend visitors, ho hum. I need an incentive - can someone send round some faf if I promise to get the hoover out?

Have a random taster menu fancy (other HBFs are available)- then we can deliver your choice of FAF once the hoover has been used

Afternoon. Bit of a miserable day. Washed bedclothes and went to put them on the reduced line. No line. DH has fetched it down because it was interfering with his tiling. It’s a conspiracy. I can’t get anything done.
