Watching Eurovision but not sure I’ll last to the end of the show.

Evening all. I have watched Eurovision with friends and giggled a lot over the theme of 'clothes with holes in'. Now I'm home and DH & DS are watching Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

I’m surprised that Sweden won Eurovision, I haven’t listened to any of the other songs except Finland, which was kind of ”unique” but it would have been fun if they had won 😀

Yes, it was very much like her first song. Finland never wins anything so I wouldn’t mind them winning this one. We’re so used to being nr 1 anyway <feels smug>

Afternoon. It was supposed to be sunny all day, but wasn’t although I did sit outside for a while.

We watched about an hour of Eurovision, but it’s really not for me, DH went to sleep. . We had watched some 80s music on YouTube at DD’s earlier and for me there’s no comparison. Congrats to Sweden but I much prefer ABBA and Europe. Final Countdown is probably my favourite song ever.

What a change in the weather to yesterday. Rain and much cooler, but it’s a relief the days weren’t reversed! Had a very delicious lunch and then we headed back home. I’ve ironed and watched the first Downton film.

Didn’t manage to watch the end of Eurovision. Felt very bad for our entry. Deserved much better than next to last. Enjoyed Finland’s entry, and I’ll admit the Croatia one has grown on me a bit after the initial WTAF

Might get a drink to stave off thinking about the horror of returning to work tomorrow.

Evening all. I have been doing garden things all day, and a family BBQ, which was nice. I'm pooped though, and can't think of anything interesting to say.

Glad that LetUs is home safely. I randomly came across a YouTube video of 'Final Countdown' in the style of Metallica a couple of days ago, which was very good and made me laugh I suspect I have the original LP somewhere upstairs.

Hope that Fancy's head is better now I don't actually remember anything about Sweden's song - just our observations that her outfit seemed to be made of someone sticking strips of packing tape to her, and she was likely to take her eye out with her nails!

Next year it will be 50 years since ABBA won with Waterloo so it will be a hell of a Eurovision party in Sweden

Today has been working, taxi-ing and then a quick catch up with a friend while I was waiting for DS to finish after school activity.

Alse, there has been much squishing things into the fridge and the freezer, because the FridgeFreezer has died without us realising, Which reminds me, there's stuff sitting outside still that I have to dispose of. FML.

Evening wenches. Have had a relaxed day - went for a walk with FancyMan to a local beauty spot that I shamefully have never been to before. We didn't get to see all of it as we ran out of time, and didn't get as far as the new erm, local attraction that has popped up, or rather down, in the last few days.

I am hoping for a decent amount of Abba next year too 😁

First exam today which partly explains the huge meltdown DS2 had last night. He calmed down, said his stomach was hurting, reassurance given. The next few weeks are going to be even bumpier than usual I suspect.
