Spent the morning with DSis & family and the afternoon doing some gardening. Had company in the garden from the robins. Am now just chilling until DSis & co. get back from the football.

Morning all. I have been and done the exercise thing. I feel a bit achey, but that may be the gardening yesterday rather than the exercise today.

It's sunny-with-clouds outside, so I ought to get washing on. Thrilling stuff!

Afternoon. Okay-ish day weatherwise. I went to Lidl this morning. I think they were waiting for a delivery as the fruit and veg was horrendously lacking. DH is now putting the ballustrades back on the flat roof and still giving me a running commentary.

We had the boiler serviced last week and since then it's been making a horrible noise so the engineer is back. Why does nothing ever go right?

I forgot about the washing, so it went on late and is being darked on outside - other than that, I've been WorkyMcWorkFace all day, then cooked tea this evening while DH is out sporting. Tomorrow I need to do a shop because we are channeling Apricot's Lidl and have no fresh veg in the house Sadly we have no middle aisle of randomness either (or is that Aldi? I forget.)

I think all DH's provide running commentaries - or at least a very thorough report at the end of the day of all the jolly important things that they've achieved Hopefully the roof and tiling will be finished soon though?

Ah - Daredevil. That was one of Madame's squeezes. Superhero though he is, I think his blindness might make hanging the washing out a bit of a challenge, in terms of meeting our exacting standards of how it should be hung on the line <side eyes at DH and remembers to just be grateful when he does it wrong >

It's nice and sunny outside, my washing is damp from the dew still, but I'm out at BoringOfficeJob all day, so it can take its chances with DH and the weather. I should check what the weather is doing though - it's that slightly awkward time of year where the wrong clothes for work can leave me dying of heat exhaustion or freezing my bits off. 1st world problems and all that.

Afternoon. Lovely day, much washing done. I tried sitting outside for a while but the wind was too cold.

DH has had a meal at the golf club so I can do something rubbishy simple for myself.

I’m packing as little as possible so I can stuff as much as I can in my suitcase. I think crisps and shortbread will be ok. I love watching Border Force Australia where they try to bring in all sorts of weird food 😀

Have done more knitting after work and watched more Downton.

Evening all. Work was working, but today's outfit choice was fine - layers went of or off depending on how warm I was feeling.

The washing was left on the line until I got back from work this evening and it was back to being cold and clammy, so it's all hung indoors to dry properly. Good news about the sun bleaching out the pizza stain LetUs

Morning all. Sunny and dewy outside. KillerKitty is rampaging outside, chickens are fed, so I get to sit down and chill for 5 minutes until DS needs to be out the door.

Hope everywench has a lovely day, and apricot has had inspiration for a new knitting pattern. Could you knit HBFs and then, Pinnochio style, have them turn into real ones? (I'm not 100% familiar with Pinnochio - did it end well, or does he have a Cinderella moment and turn into a pumpkin-equivalent?)

Fairly breezy here and looking a bit damp. Despite it only being a short week, I thought it was Friday already.

Afternoon. Reasonable day weather-wise. I’m all over the place with the days, it’s all these bank holidays and not having to pick DGS up from school.

Quite nice weather today. Took DS2 clothes shopping this evening. It started chucking it down just as we got to the car park. All sorted for him though.

Catching up with Downton. Not sure I’ll knit tonight, I don’t want to mess it up.

Evening. I have voted and posted a card and taxied DS, and worked.

Nice weather here - so nice and sunny and dry I went for a walk in my trainers instead of wellies. And then found the road flooded due to a mains burst <le sigh, le squelch> So that was all very exciting.

It was also (as well as sunny) a bit windy with some quite strong gusts which blew over stuff in the garden. And it's just been raining as well.

I need to take DS shoe shopping 😱That won't be fun.

Well I appear to have managed not to post for days!

Have been mostly working and doing a few bits in the garden as the evenings have been pleasant - saw quite a few little rabbits on the way home from work today, so cute.

DD is back for the evening tomorrow - some Eurovision prep is needed 😁
