Fairly rubbish day at work, lots of rain, haircut this evening which feels so much better. Headache though that’s not shifting so I think I shall have an early night.

Morning all. TFI and all that. We currently have a gold sunrise with gold-lined grey clouds as the sun actually gets itself up over the horizon.

Cute kitten was on my lap purring, but has now had a thought in his little cat-brain and gone trotting purposefully off some where. No commute today, but BoringOfficeJob anyway. And I need to try and fit in more painting. Lots of cutting in is needed.

Hope that LetUs has shifted the headache and has a better day

I seem to have slept quite well for a change.

DS2 being his usual delightful morning self. In a nice tone of voice “come on, it’s nearly quarter to”. The shouted reply “I don’t bloody care”.

Anyway it’s Friday, it’s light and errrrr it’s Friday.

Afternoon. Did the food shop this morning. It doesn't get any warmer although we have had some weak sunshine.

DH has dropped his phone in the garage and although it's working, the display is all wrong or something. I wasn't very sympathetic. I hate waste of money.

Also very envious of the Northern Lights WW.

Took DS2 for a new school bag tonight which is about as exciting as my evening got.

DS has been out at SportingActivity, where he met an actual Olympic athlete I have finished painting for today, and will start again tomorrow. DH has done his back in so I won't be getting any help with painting in the next few days.

Productive day through - painting, replacing a light switch and baking. #DomasticGoddess I shall await my reward from Athos

I decided against the shops as I'm free Monday daytime next week & they'll probably be quieter then. Plus DS is away this weekend so I can just be lazy & live off interesting combinations of food in the cupboards/freezer.

Starting series 7 of Homeland tonight, hoping for this level of faf, but expect to be disappointed

at interesting food combinations. Hula-hoops and custard? Fingers crossed for Homeland7 getting their act together re. faf.

We've just watched Hobbit part 2. I don't know about 'Desolation of The Batch Smaug' - more of 'The Bling' as far as I could tell. Will have to watch the last one now.

Yay for netball and Vodka. I'm looking at my sudoko and thinking maybe I should just go to bed. Oh, haven't done wordle yet though.
