Layering up is indeed the best way to stay warm as the weather turns chilly. Fortunately HBFs also come with cloaks and coats which makes them doubly effective Grin

Or...

DH has mothered to watch Killing Eve so I’ve stopped watching Mock the Week and put it on. As soon as it’s started, he’s started banging on about something at his work. Aarrrrgghhhhh.

Ooooo Killing Eve was good! We’re a couple of episodes ahead because I got them all off iPlayer.

Back to grappling

Morning. Glad to hear that HBI was on form LetUs Grin
Fancy - maybe you need a stepladder as well?

We got up to date with Vanity Fair last night. I thought It was going to be a the last one, but it's not (or it has a very odd ending!) Tonight will probably be another Killing Eve, or Discovery of Witches, or sleep!

Weather is meh - no rain yet but cloudy and overcast.

No sporting activity - which means there's no excuse not to start massive hideous homework project Confused

LetUsPrey · 06/10/2018 11:25

Morning wenches. lots of Aramis grappling last night.

Caught up with Discovery of Witches this morning. Enjoyable and not requiring much concentration. Just right for a Saturday morning.

Similar weather here Helen. Also similar sounding homework. I fucking hate homework - not as much as DS2 hates it though.

Afternoon.
Well it's looking grim out there. A day for staying in the dry I think. I have a mountain of ironing so there's plenty to keep me busy. Just need to find some decent trashy tv to distract me while I do it.....

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 06/10/2018 13:51

DS it 'tidying' - aka sitting in front of a pile of lego and putting it back together.

Actually, I lie - he's put lots of little things back together and has lined the completely bits up on a shelf really neatly. I'm a bit impressed (until I look at the rest of the lego bits that are still strewn over the carpet - then I'm )

The cats have taken up permanent residence on the sofa. I want to be a cat in this house.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 06/10/2018 14:44

There's a video about don Carlos on the Exeter Northcott FB page No new info in it, though there is a rather weird comment by someone as if the video has been especially made for TB fans, and not because, you know, they have a play to promote and they need to do publicity and sell tickets Hmm

Whatevs.

LetUsPrey · 06/10/2018 14:45

Have you found anything to watch Fancy?

I have a similar view of Lego here Helen. Also cat.

Been shopping with DS2. That was fun, but not as fun as trying to get him do his homework.

I’m supposed to be cleaning the bathroom. DH has already done a lot of housework. I know this because he’s given me a full account of everything he’s done in detail. Funny how I never feel the need to give similar accounts of all the stuff I do.

Meant to say, bought Lethal White today. That’s my evening sorted.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 06/10/2018 15:42

Yay - happy reading Grin
I have been hoovering and also, I'm sure I have been doing HBFs other busy and important things, if I could just remember what they are Hmm

FancyFancy · 06/10/2018 16:37

I have decided to watch This Country - no hbfs at all, but rather diverting Grin

LetUsPrey · 06/10/2018 16:54

I flipping love This Country Grin

Helen Helen Helen —which I don’t think we’ve seen before but there’s always the possibility I’m wrong— but loooooooook

I know LetUs - squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (see re. Twitter - I think we x-posted each other Grin )

We haven't watched This Country. I don't think DH would be up for it in the slightest, and I haven't mustered the enthusiasm to fit it in while he's out. Clearly I should make the effort...

ApricotCrush · 06/10/2018 17:44

Afternoon wenches. Rained all day here but has now turned sunny. Hmm

I've finished Lethal White. Enjoy LetUs.

Yes, strange comment on the Exeter Northcott page. Confused There are others going apart from TB fans, but they seem to be in a little universe of their own.

I think we're up to date with Killing Eve and Vanity Fair. We'll probably watch Strictly tonight.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 06/10/2018 20:41

I think I'm heading for a very early hayloft session

LetUsPrey · 06/10/2018 20:43

Grin at Helen’s bouncing

The weather did that here too Apricot.

I like to think it’s good of the bands/singers I go to see to put on that show for me. The other thousands and thousands there are just tagging along.

I have watched Strictly. Loved some of them. Some meh. Some can fuck off. I’m on my second bottle of cider. I’m trying different ones in the name of science. The current one is a Pimm’s Cider Cup. Is very nice.

Grin glad to find another fan letus - it gets me all nostalgic to see the countryside & hear those accents. Not to mention it gets me chuckling away Grin

LetUsPrey · 06/10/2018 22:36

I love that it’s so funny but also how it has that thread of sadness (not the right word but I’m on my third) running through it. So clever.

Seen a trailer for a film called Bad Times at The El Royale. I really hope my local cinema is showing it.
