Morning. Weather status here was overcast when I got up. Now it is overcast and peeing down, though still quite warm (or it was when it wasn't raining - haven't been out since it started raining).

I had the flu jab today, suppose I won't be able to sleep on that arm.

After this morning's rain, it cleared over into a lovely day and I got two loads of washing dry on the line. I would have got three but DH was too busy mowing the bring the third in, so it's a bit damp again now But at least the grass is cut.

In today's 'fail' moment, I went out the for usual 'take DS swimming and do the supermarket shop' excitement... and left my purse at home Reception said I couldn't pay next time the swimming teachers rolled their eyes and told me to just get in and pay next time hurrah! and then I literally swam over some small teenagers when they got in my way while I was blind doing backstroke. "serves them right" said swimming teachers. I like the swimming teachers there

TB is also being wished good luck for opening night on twitter - despite not being in twitter. But no-one seems to have cc'd any of the actual cast members who are on twitter to the 'good luck' messages - even when it sys 'good luck to all the cats'

Work was crap. The people in charge are crap and seem utterly incapable of USING A FUCKING COMPUTER PROPERLY. It’s printing - it’s not difficult. And neither is simple document formatting but by all means ask me to urgently deal with a 40 something page document 10 minutes before I’m due to leave. Twats.

DS is undergoing the 'lights out' procedure as I type. This involves me turning the light out and him blethering on at DH.

My day wasn't too tedious thanks - offloaded the most tedious task to someone else, who did a thoroughly good job & found an issue I now need to sort out! It may be straightforward. Or not - hard to tell as the tedious task was one left to me by a colleague who'd done all the work to date but who's not in the office to deal with it the final bits, so I'm a bit in the dark. Ho hum.

Well you say printing isn't difficult letus but we are having issues since moving onto the cloud - some of us are unable to change default printers. Which is fine most of the time until you're out of the office & your documents print back in the office because your computers keeps swapping your default printer back. And don't get me started on the random setting of print areas as each cell on a spreadsheet. We are keeping ourselves amused with who can (theorectically) deforest the largest area - current record is a 45,000 page document

Jeez Fancy, I think if the muppets at my place had to deal with that level of printing problem, they’d combust. This is more “how do I print double sided” “how do I print in colour” and just basically not having the ability to click on a button that says print. No new printers, nothing difficult. Just idiots. at 45,000 pages!
