Evening. I can't remember the last time I felt this poorly following chemo. I swear I think it's even worse than when I was on Docetaxel.

I went up to bed at 11.00 pm last night and I only crawled back downstairs half an hour ago. The cats were starving so I've fed them. The thought of eating myself does not appeal. I hurt EVERYWHERE. If I'm not much improved by tomorrow I may have to consider a trip to the hospital.

Zombie - so sorry to hear this news.

I can't do anything to help you but my thoughts & love are with you.

Oh dear, so sorry that you are so poorly.
Could you manage a bowl of soup perhaps? Keep up your fluids as much as you can.

Oh dear Zombie, dosent sound pleasant for you at all at the moment. Hopefully there may be improvement are another nights sleep. Is there nothing the hospital can give you to ward off these awful side effects ? Thinking of you.

Really hoping that awful side effects mean short lived ones. X

Hope you're feeling better today Zombie, lots of sleep must help.

Evening.

Today has been up and down. Up for a couple of hours, then sleep for a couple of hours. Rinse and repeat.

I still hurt but the drugs are helping. More importantly my temperature is behaving itself.

Dinner is in the oven. That's my accomplishment for the day.

Oh I'm glad that you feel up to eating something, it can be a major effort just to get to eat something hot I know, so even if you just manage a little of it, very well done you.
I hope another early night is in store for you, and that you get some real rest.
If you like milky drinks, I like a warm milk with honey stirred in, very soothing.

Zombie has discovered Baileys Chocolate Luxe. That's milky enough for her.

Oh yes! A Medicinal Baileys will do you a power of good.

I like it tipped over icecream with a naice biscuit to munch for the quickest pudding ever.

Zombie isn't talking about just Baileys. This is Baileys mixed with Belgian Dark Chocolate. It's to die for. It's also a limited edition and she has been buying up available supplies.

The peace and quiet of DDS is being disturbed by very loud music with a very heavy bass. It's coming straight up my garden at my house. I am not amused.

The Baileys sounds - well I was going to write droolsome but that sounds dribbly. I'll go for divine instead.

The music would drive me batty. FidBoy1 DJs at weekends so tonight is blissfully quiet as he's at work. Am glad most of our neighbours are deaf cos when he's creating noise here "rehearsing" during the week it's enough to turn milk sour.

Ooohh! Ocado have got that chocolate Baileys, I'll get some next week!!

So pleased you've managed to get some grub in the oven, bloody well done you. And hope you enjoyed it.

Can you please make sure to tell me exactly where I can get some, I have an old oil tank I would like to fill with it you never mention it again.
It sounds like heaven and not something I would be able to approach with any restraint whatsoever.
