I don't think he'll be anywhere near 7:30; he's drinking at sleb's place and he'll be mid socialising now. At midnight when he leaves (probably over the limit), he'll call to say he's on his way to pick up. Make sure your phone is off and the dogs are loose! I honestly think this will kick into another day thread

I think there is zero chance of him turning up at 7.30. He is the sort of wanker who will make a point of pitching up at least an hour late

I think when he does turn up, OP should just lightly say "oh yes of course" then get the keys and open the gate, as if CF had every right to be there and had only been gone for that original 5 minutes.

And as if she hadn't at all been complicit in him still being there.

Honestly at this stage I think I’d now be the bigger person and when he turns up (presuming it’s at a reasonable time) just let him out with a nice passive aggressive “Why did you arrive at 5? I did tell you I would be out till 7.30 ”

Followed by an optional “Maybe you’ll reconsider parking on private property next time.” as you wave him off.

I've got 'It's the final count down' blaring in my head right now...this is more exciting than the Olympics.
