You admiration is pushing DB to new heights of stupidity. He's in the shed looking for a tent to camp in between the car and gate. All I think I've got is an old pop up tent though or a tarp....

Do you think he will? Did he say to your legend of a brother that he would be back today? I can't help but think it's not going to be resolved today. Sorry.

What's your plan to of action, just let him out when he arrives or is there something you'd particularly like to say or him say to you?

I'm another one who didn't think he would turn up at 7:30. Everything has to be on his terms. He'll likely turn up late tonight whenever the footballer's party ends. Wait, wouldn't he surely be drinking at the footballers party? How can he collect his car this evening if he's been drinking?

Absolutely do not answer the door past 8pm OP!! When is DB back for his next visit? That's when you're next available for CF to come get The Ranger.

you could say that all the keys are put in a time controlled safe at bed time and it only opens at 7.00 am .

like in banks so you cannot make off with the dosh if the safe is off the clock.

I don't know. If he does turn up, maybe it would be wise to call the police about a possible drunk driver, especially as he has said that he's been partying with X.

Tell him to start folding up the little numbered tickets for the tombola now - 1 - 1,000. Then we'll need one more new thread, all interested parties can register their entry by posting and whoever's post position in the thread matches the number drawn at random by DB (or Bruce G might want to do the honours?) is the lucky winner! Just a hunch, but I'm guessing that CF's wife will now be (illegally) entering multiple times!

Sounds like he's in a huff you didn't drop everything to be there for 5pm for him and is now "punishing" you by not turning up when you said you'd be in, especially as he already said that didn't work for him and he only cares about his own convenience.

If the ranger is one of the open back kind, DB could sleep in the back in a sleeping bag with the tarp over - frighten the living shit out of cf when he arrives

I'll be asleep for 10pm I always am. I'm up at 4.30/5am and don't fuck around with bedtime unless there is an emergency of epic proportions. This is not one. Phone goes on DND and that's it. So if he wants his car tonight he best get a wiggle on.
