Just caught up from reading all threads. My take away points are:

1. CF is a redacted of the highest order.
2. I really want a carvery so have ordered a clicky collect (only because Resident Collie also wants carvery)
3. OPs DB has my kind of humour.

Hope CPF gets in touch to arrange collection in the next 24 hours, though, if he's anything like my ex, he won't because he's so amazing and special that he can do nothing wrong . If he doesn't I'm sure the FC can potentially find a use for an abandoned Ranger.

This is like when they released the Friday the 13th movie entitled “The Final Chapter” then ended up releasing about eight more.

Anyway as what will hopefully be the actual END of the matter parking jackass is coming to collect his car at 8.30pm. I have been delightfully firm in the message because its highly highly unlikely I will be in person. I am having fun imagining me being delightfully witty and quick and saying something that will make him realise the error of his ways but I suspect it will go

Aren't we forgetting that OP did challenge him when he parked up, and he said he'd be back in a few (maybe 5, not sure) minutes to move it? Yet he clearly felt entitled enough to just leave it until HE was ready?! Would the FC be classed as lawful authority to tow it?

I think that’s what’s annoyed me the most. Throughout this the CF parking man has just shown utter contempt and disregard for OPs convenience and time.

Parking where he was asked not to (which, let’s not forget is a private drive!) because it suited him, turning up when OP said she wouldn’t be there (because it suited him) and then couldn’t understand why it was an issue.

Also saying “You’ve got my car locked in your drive” no mate, you locked it there! The total obliviousness, lack of responsibility and sheer audacity of this man is just 🤬
