Asked ds what she liked - gardening apparently. DS's class is kestrel class so aha I thought. A little kestrel ornament for the garden. Except it is not little. No no. It is a gigantic genetically modified kestrel. Maybe she can put it at the bottom of the garden so it looks smaller?!

I think that her child was n Kestrel class this year and the teacher will be staying with Kestrel class next year when OP's DC moves on....

My children are in classes named after birds. There are a zillion bird related items in every class.
It's more a present for the class than the teacher, it's not something she would take home

I haven't seen many bird related things in ds's school actually. Probably a dearth of kestrel related items. Although some classes are owls so I suspect they get rather more owl gifts. Owls are on lots of things.

I've emailed the site to let them know about this thread and to ask them when they will have a new stock of Windfuckers Of Doom!

That bird is terrifying. I am scared of birds and this has done nothing to ease my fear. It looks like it's watching me and weighing me up.
