She has just sent out a group email to 100 parents/the head, of the last AGM minutes. Then obviously wanted to bitch to one other PTA mum about THE HEAD but... has copied in the 100 parents... AND THE HEAD.

My life is complete. I am practically purring in pleasure. Cannot WAIT for this afternoon in the playground.

Has anyone seen LDC since the event? Or has the Head buried her in Forest School?

I bloody loved it cringed for the Admin of our Schools Group Who kept whinging he had a spy amongst the Group. Said Admin got hauled in and made to announce they would be closing it at x time. Then we all got the letters about the dangers of being a twat on social networking sites. Coupled with the explanations of Publishing and Libel I mean are they really people out there daft enough to think that there will be no one watching out for such facebookthings?! Urgh at the Yummy Mummy title though. Cliquey much?

FWIW, your PTA sounds very much like our PTA, and I find it all a bit hilarious tbh.

You see the PTA huddles and cliques on the playground at drop off and pick up. They are obviously bitching about people with the sideways looks and sniggers and they can't deign themselves to speak to any lesser parent, UNTIL it's time for Xmas fare, summer fare etc etc, and then it's begging letters and lots of fake friendliness and joviality on the playground as they need donations for stalls and lots of helpers to help them pull it off.

I can't deny they are successful, they raised over £10k last year, but do they have to be so bloody cliquey???

I think its always wisest, if you have to bitch, not to do it in writing - apart from the dangers of either sending to the wrong person or pressing the "reply to all" button there is always the possibility that your musings could be forwarded.
