She has just sent out a group email to 100 parents/the head, of the last AGM minutes. Then obviously wanted to bitch to one other PTA mum about THE HEAD but... has copied in the 100 parents... AND THE HEAD.

My life is complete. I am practically purring in pleasure. Cannot WAIT for this afternoon in the playground.

I know it's not as dramatic as a playground lynching, but I am looking forward to seeing how the head phrases "the dangers of being a twat" .

DC's head periodically sends warnings about discussing school matters at drop off/over email /whatever, which generally serve to make me feel like, as LDC would put it, an interloper, because no one has EVER shared any school gossip, salacious or otherwise, with me, in 7 years [sulk]

I have my suspicions about who the bitches are.

It's not the Chair. She seems nice and a bit baffled by it all. There are another two who have been EXTREMELY sheepish this morning. There is LDC, the chair and two other main ones. Then there are many hangers-on. it's just working out which hangers on are the FB bitchers.

The school shouldn't let any of the previous PTA members keep their position if they have posted anything on the secret fb page.

You seriously couldn't make this stuff up, unfortunately it's not too unusual I suspect.

Was it a wise woman on this thread who said " PTA is the schools way of keeping trouble making parents out of the way of teachers'.

I really don't feel sorry for them, random. They're adults, and therefore perfectly able to say 'no, this isn't right'. I just hope that any innocent members of the PTA, those who weren't one of LDC's 'girls' (assuming that LDC had an 'inner circle' within the PTA with whom she bitched, which sounds like the kind of thing she'd do) aren't caught in the crossfire.

Anyone who calls herself a "yummy mummy" is a massive twat and deserves everything they get.

My friend got added to the Yummy Mummy one and she said it was shit. She said it's where they post pictures of themselves after they've had spray tans etc. She left.

Marms please inform of the EXACT TIME you will have DC back home, have whipped the letter out of their bag, and have typed it up here for all of us.

OMG but what if your DC loses the letter! My DS could go weeks without giving me important paperwork...Have you informed your DC of the preciousness of said letter??

See, being aloof and stand-offish in the playground has NOT worked well for me. Why have I not been invited to be a yummy mummy? WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Our PTA is nowhere near as exciting, they're talking about a pig race ffs. No lemon drizzle in sight. I am a member but I've never been to a meeting because they're too intimidating the meetings are at awkward times.

I am sadly excited about the contents of a child's book bag! And I've never even met said child.

Can't wait to hear what is in the news letter, unashamedly rubbernecking...
