Anyone who remembers MarmaladeTwatkins' PTA cake sale/Lemon Drizzle arse of a woman come here please

MarmaladeTwatkins · 19/09/2013 09:53

Grin

She has just sent out a group email to 100 parents/the head, of the last AGM minutes. Then obviously wanted to bitch to one other PTA mum about THE HEAD but... has copied in the 100 parents... AND THE HEAD.

My life is complete. I am practically purring in pleasure. Cannot WAIT for this afternoon in the playground. Grin

I am actually getting excited for tomorrow.

showtunesgirl · 23/09/2013 00:33

I actually make a really good Lemon Drizzle Cake, seriously! So am I no longer allowed to make them? Sad

Here's one I made earlier!

TotallyBursar · 23/09/2013 02:35

Damn it, I've got to go and pick up the poxy new car tomorrow from some middle of nowhere field lot. Why do I do bugger all until something interesting is happening?

This has just been a rollercoaster of joy to cringe to by proxy watery bowels of shame. If classics was made for anything it was made for this. Maybe we should rename a corner of it in honour of Marms, add a bench or a plaque or somesuch. Comely bunting maybe.
I would be calling LDC out to her face, or making my disapprobrium clear to all parties with a reply all of my own, they may have thrown her under the bus but they would be foolish to think anyone was not keenly aware she had an audience that was at best cowardly and at worst eager to lap up her bile. I absolutely would not let this insulting non-apology go unchallenged and would make it very clear what she will be remembered for and why. Politely of course.
Although goodness knows what you would have to do in order to lose the moral highground considering where the bar has been set.
I would so love to see the whole school kitted out in 'No Reply to All' t-shirts come Monday, that might just do it.

TotallyBursar · 23/09/2013 02:51

*disapprobation
I think I was trying to write opprobium and disapprobation as one word for some reason. Such is my outrage at the cake fucker obviously.

Lottiedoubtie · 23/09/2013 06:58

Is the statement this morning or afternoon?

showtune that looks really really nice!!!
Of course we're allowed LDC, but I'll never be able to keep a straight face when presenting/being presented with one!

BonaDea · 23/09/2013 08:26

The day is here at last.

rubs hands in glee

PaleHousewifeOfCumbriaCounty · 23/09/2013 08:32

Oh my excitement.....

Sparklymommy · 23/09/2013 08:38

Oooh... Waiting with abated breath for the return of op. has LDC had the audacity to defend herself further? Has she seen sense and made an apology (of any sort)? Has the head made her statement? Did she wear one of those ace t-shirts? So many questions!!!!

I expect LD woman has had a terrible weekend.

I feel a bit sorry for her..........oh wait a minute, no I don'tGrin

justmuddlingthroughit · 23/09/2013 09:05

Just de-lurking to express my excitement at the arrival of Monday. Now there's a sentence I never thought I'd type...

Seriously though, this vile hag cannot be allowed to get away with simple resignation by email. I hope the ht makes her apologise to her, Vera, the head of the PTA, and the 'interlopers' ie lovely helpful people who committed the dreadful crime of not being in LDC's clique, in person. No, she won't mean it and yes, she will still be blaming everyone else, but it will be sphincter-clenchingly horrendous for her and therefore worthwhile. Then, an actual apology via email to the rest of the parents, not only for the original email, but for the almost as offensive non-apology that followed. Hey, I can dream...

I joined our school's PTA in April at the behest of a very persistent friend and because I'd like to help the school.
I am now dreading the next meeting and feel uncharacteristically intimidated by the thought of it all. That's what this thread has done to me. I find the meetings interminable, I'd rather just be a grunt than get into all that shit.

There's a lot of emotion invested in cake at all levels, isn't there? From punching them, to exclusion by cake.

sparkle12mar08 · 23/09/2013 09:13

I have to go to the gym in 30 minutes, get a shift on Marmas!

Dam58 · 23/09/2013 09:14

Just rushed home from the gym....managed to get through the school drop off without calling the dc's or anyone else's atrocious cunts....i also had meaningless convos with several adults and no appropriate shout outs.
I nearly lost it with a dog walker who i passed in the way into my house...such was the excitement at my arrival home.

Never have i endured or witnessed such prolific use of the word cunt and i want to use it now in normal conversation with everyone i see.

Probably shouldn't speak to dc's teacher at pick up, i doubt it would be as funny in real life as it is in my head.

MarmaladeTwatkins · 23/09/2013 09:15

Morning everyone!

Nothing as yet. The word on the street, or rather the playground, is that the school will be sending the children with letters in their bags about the dangers of being a twat in email/misuse of social networking. Apparently, there has been a secret FB group where a select few go to bitch about other parents/teachers and even children. The mind truly boggles, doesn't it?!

RandomCitizen · 23/09/2013 09:16

Aha. It all becomes clear! That's what they've been up to then.

More to this than meets the eye clearly.

RubyGoat · 23/09/2013 09:18

Blatant place marking. Hilarious thread!

MinnieBar · 23/09/2013 09:18

Is that like the secret FB MN group?! Wink

That means someone has totally sold her out, no?

It's more fierce than a Boden discount sale…

RandallPinkFloyd · 23/09/2013 09:18

Secret FB group? Dear lord, are they all 12?

Not surprising though is it really. It was pretty obvious she wasn't on her own. Some people really don't ever leave high school do they.

EhricLovesTeamQhuay · 23/09/2013 09:21

Oh they are a bunch of utter twats. I hope the whole lot of the PTA bitches get sacked.

RandomCitizen · 23/09/2013 09:22

Yes I wondered who she was addressing as 'girls' in that email.

Of course they will all be exposed now, which actually makes me really sorry for them - I bet some of them felt like she was being a bitch but didn't know how to escape without being shot for desertion.
