What are you doing up at this hour Marslady?

MarsLady · 22/03/2007 00:09

I went to my OU tutorial then off for a meal with my fave OU friend. We were making plans to get together before next week's close reading of the text to work on our TMAs (tutor marked assignments) next Wednesday and then going straight on.

Then when I finally got home about 11.15 I started to reply to my email and do my paperwork. Then I thought I'd quickly pop on here and see what was happening.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

triplets · 22/03/2007 00:10

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING TRIPLETS* !

When I open my bar this evening I will be doing so in your honour. It will be a glass of chilled white wine probably and I am looking forward to it already. Hope your day is a good one sweetheart and that if nothing else then your DH wraps himself up in ribbons along with a takeaway. Sending love xxx.

Hiya all,

We have success in our house and I just want to shout about it....

MY TD'S ARE WELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone who may have seen the threads I have been on...may know for the last 3 months they have been constantly sick, and DH and I have had little sleep in the house, multiple trips in ambulances and doctors visits...

Last night, they BOTH slept through, no coughing, no sickness, no coming in to our bed, no night walks, steaming the bathroom out, changing bedding....

DH and I sat and had a wine and cheese last night...it was bliss!!!!!!

Kelly1978 · 22/03/2007 15:36

yey, glad to heah it nikki.

Mine are 2 tomorrow tkband! I really should be cooking for their tea party, but I have a stinking cold so have been takign it easy all day.

Check out my profile, I made some pics up of the boys with Thomas and Disney's cars. I'm planning to frame them and put them in their playhouse. Took me hours to do and I'm rather proud of them.

Happy birthday triplets.

Kelly1978 · 22/03/2007 15:50

the photos are lovely dingdong, you jsut need to add one of you now.

Harrogatemum · 22/03/2007 15:52

welcome Ash!! Hooray for nikkis children sleeping through!!! And dingdong - your DTs are gorgeous, I just checked them out. oooh and happy birthday Triplets!!

AFter all that enthusiasm I need some sympathy.......DH and I have a night away booked on Saturday, our first since the baby was born (she is now 4 months old). My Mum and Dad were due to come over and look after the kids. My Mum has just rung to say she is too ill to look after them.........and I know I should feel bad for her as she has a bad cold/virus, but all I can feel is completely pissed off. I need the night away, DH REALLY needs the night away and we have paid £100 deposit which we will lose.

I am going to scream to let out a bit of my frustration....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Thanks for letting me do that. Normal service will resume shortly.

Kelly1978 · 22/03/2007 16:01

ob no, is there no one else who can do it? What about your dad?
