Ok I realise this should really be in Big/slim etc but I prefer it over here!

When I moan about my hugeness, friends say 'but you've had (pause) two babies' - my twins are nearly 8 months old so can really no longer be used as an excuse for the fact I'm at least two stone overweight.

PLEASE join me if any of you twin/more mums have flab to lose this year... I could do with the moral support. Anyone up for it?
I'm planning to do lowish-carb, kind of like SW red days I think. Could probably do with a clearer plan really.

How's everyone doing?

Hope you're not too demoralised by your 3lb blip thevisitor - easily rectified... can you tell where you went wrong?

I am fully signed up to the India and Neris now - have even ordered all the supplements online hope it's not a total waste of money Blush. Reeeeeeally hope to see results this week as am loving this way of eating and not feeling any hardship at all really, although no booze at all obviously isn't sustainable for very long.
Still need to get more creative with breakfasts though - serious egg fatigue.

Evening all.

Am going to weigh in tomorrow morning after doing the IPD since Monday. DH is concerned to see me eating double cream, butter and so on and cannot see how it works. Will see tomorrow morning I guess. Have been good (apart from a chocolate brownie on Tuesday - it was sooooooooo goooooooood).

Eggs for breakfast anyone?

Lost a pound!

Feel quite motivated about it so am sticking with it. Will even do my best to avoid wine this weekend.

Keep going everyone!

Well done smokey and lottie!

Don't think I'll do quite so well this week, DH brought home some licorice allsorts and I xchain-ate them last night while watching Michel Roux (I knew it was a mistake to have food to hand while watching a foodie programme). I'll try to do better over the weekend Grin

MonkeyMargot · 05/02/2011 14:00

well done everyone!
I've been ill so not much of an appetite, also DH has been working evenings so not having to cook a proper meal has helped. Weigh-day Monday but hoping to have lost this week as last week didn't lose any.

To those doing lowcarb/highprotein, how about a german type breakfast of e.g. pastrami, salami and pickles with some cheese?

tartiflette · 06/02/2011 08:17

Good morning campers, I am 4lb down this morning WOOP!

Current: 169
Target: 147
Loss so far: 7

German breakfast good idea.

BRILLIANT tarti!!! (you bitch...:-)

tartiflette · 06/02/2011 17:45

Ha well get this for fatty behaviour I have just been put for afternoon tea and managed to put away sandwiches, champagne, scone and cake.... didn't have any milk in my coffee though so I'm SURE there's no damage done Wink

OpheliaBumps · 06/02/2011 20:38

Well done tarti, that's fantastic!
Where did you go for afternoon tea - sounds lovely and very posh!

We ended up in Pizza Express this afternoon (shoe shopping with the DTs, took ages, they got hungry and whingy - yes I know I'm making excuses), so I probably undid a lot of this week's good work, but it was sooo worth it Grin

Will see how I get on in the morning!

tartiflette · 06/02/2011 21:37

Good luck Ophelia - pizza sounds amazing........

Am wracked with guilt and self loathing after today's carb fest. Will have to be super strict this week, India and N are very apocalyptic about the slightest cheat so I do hope it doesn't completely ruin everything. Bleurgh.

OP posts:
OpheliaBumps · 07/02/2011 11:43

Surely one little carb fest can't cause too much damage can it?

Anyway I've lost another pound, hooray!
Start: 154 lb
Current: 152 lb
Lost: 2 lb
Target: 140 lb

We've got a friend visiting this weekend, so I know I'll eat too much (I always think it looks a bit rude to cook a meal and then only eat a tiny bit myself, almost as if I think there's something wrong with it!), but hopefully we'll get a decent hike in with the DTs, as there will be 3 of us to share the rucksack carrying (I can only do a couple of miles before my shoulders really hurt).

smokeybacon · 08/02/2011 08:13

Oooh well done tartiflette!! Was that with sine little cheats too?

2pm further loss here. Thrilled! am finding it hard not to have sweet things and do have a bite or two sometimes.

And who mentionned pizza express????????????

smokeybacon · 08/02/2011 08:14

Some not sine. Bloody phone.

smokeybacon · 08/02/2011 08:15

And 2lb not 2pm!

lottie it's the mountain climber's diet - I bet you burned off enough calories walking to have earned the bratwurst & chips!

Good luck for your next mini-target - sounds like you're kept busy with visitors, I'm very impressed, managing small twins, dieting and visitors!
