You have £85k a month to spend? Buy in the support you need/want

vodkaredbullgirl · 01/12/2025 17:54

🤔

phantomofthepopera · 01/12/2025 17:54

Got time to answer questions though?

Alpacajigsaw · 01/12/2025 17:55

What stops you paying for support? You could have a full time housekeeper?

Or do you more mean emotional support? In which case - theoretically, how much income would you swap to be in a high support scenario?

AnnaQuayInTheUk · 01/12/2025 17:57

I know a couple of people who earn over £1 million per year plus bonuses. They buy in quite a lot of support - cleaners, gardeners etc.

What are you hoping to gain from this thread?

GeorgesMarvelousCalpol · 01/12/2025 17:58

Is that 85,000 pounds? Or pesetas?

Eighty five thousand pounds a month... net - god love you, how do you survive?? 😆😆

ChloeMorningstar · 01/12/2025 17:58

Ok.

Well done you.

PandoraSocks · 01/12/2025 17:59

Maybe do some volunteer work? It is a good way to make friends.

phantomofthepopera · 01/12/2025 18:02

Are you going to struggle with the mansion tax?

Notmyreality · 01/12/2025 18:04

Ok

Flowers8989 · 01/12/2025 18:05

This is a troll post surely 🤣🤣

Onlyhereforthebatshitneighbours · 01/12/2025 18:07

Really? What's that like?

Onlyhereforthebatshitneighbours · 01/12/2025 18:08

And how is it over 85k per month?

pinkspeakers · 01/12/2025 18:11

Are you sure?

TwilightSkies · 01/12/2025 18:14

Has to be a troll post

MNLurker1345 · 01/12/2025 18:15

Wow! Has the money ostracised you from your family? I ask because your post suggests the two are linked in some way.

With so much money you could do some much charitable good and make some nice friends.

TigerRag · 01/12/2025 18:15

Vietnamese dong?

Quitelikeit · 01/12/2025 18:16

Not sure why people are being harsh!

Im sure the poster means they are lonely as in no really friends or family!

Of course they can buy in support!

Op that is a dream monthly income!!!

Please can you pay off my mortgage 😂

SalmonOnFinnCrisp · 01/12/2025 18:17

😅 Very good

What are the kids getting from santa this year?

Where do you buy your clothes?

CatAsstrophe · 01/12/2025 18:21

Can I move in with you @cripplinglyalone? I'll keep you company for 50% of your monthly net amount 😁

iSage · 01/12/2025 18:21

What do you do for a living?

Mymanyellow · 01/12/2025 18:29

Do you mean 8.5k a month. Still a good salary.

InLoveWithAI · 01/12/2025 18:29

I thought the same.

I'm usually the first to be all 'oh ffs' on money threads, but this one feels different.

Op I hope you're okay. If you're lonely could you join some groups of things you're interested in?

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 01/12/2025 18:44

I know (only too well) it can be difficult, especially at this time of year, have you considered taking in ironing?
