Hey @MrsMGE I’m glad you went to see the Mental Health Nurse. I hope the relaxation exercises help! You are a very strong woman! ♥️ I have been busy with the driveway getting done and our stairs in our garden are being restored. Due to be finished this week so I’m excited to see it done! Then it’s on to a busy few weeks!

Thanks @Kiki061190. I'm feeling really tired now, I should have taken the afternoon off. Finding it hard to concentrate.

All the work sounds exciting! What sort of thing are you going for for the stairs & driveway?

I am craving chocolate today so bad! I managed to lose some weight, been eating well, but omg I could eat some Nutella pancakes right now! Xxx

Kiki061190 · 22/10/2019 18:48

@MrsMGE The wall around our driveway is being changed, new mono block down and it all evened out as well as it had slightly sunken in places. Back stairs are being changed from tile to brick and being made wider and larger so it’s safer for me and babba when it comes to go down 😁 Oooh you’re allowed cravings tho! I could also go some Nutella pancakes just now sista! How are you feeling about ttc? Are you going to test at all before AF is due?

We actually booked a private scan for Nov 4th today to hopefully find out babies gender! Given how wriggly and awkward it’s been at every scan so far I’m doubtful we will find out but desperate to know!

@APinkMouse ah amazing news 😍 so happy for you, it must have been such a relief!

@MrsMGE so happy you went speaking with the MH nurse! It's a good first step, and agree that talking about things help. My PIL are coming tomorrow and staying for a while so I will probably tell them. It's a difficult journey on your own. You know yourself best, if you think you have PTSD I don't think you need to follow a time frame either! It's great you'll get to speak to someone in Jan and continuing the process of feeling better in yourself and doing this for your mental health ❤️

Thanks so much for asking about me, I survived work yesterday when the painkillers kicked in and it really seems I passed it all in the morning so it wasn't bad with cramps later on in the day! Today I temped again and my temp has come crashing down to just under the cover line which obviously means it must have passed and hormones are crashing down!

I can't express how happy I am that it is so quick this time around because my temps were high and nothing happened for 6 weeks after my mmc. I actually think this might have been a chemical miscarriage if I didn't use progesterone (it measured 5.2 at over 7 weeks), so it proves that progesterone works to keep the pregnancy in there (I was obviously unlucky that this particular pregnancy must have been unhealthy and thus grew very slowly). No embryo was seen at 7 weeks, just yolk sac. This makes me even more determined to use progesterone next time around when the pregnancy is hopefully healthy! The day I stopped using progesterone after my last scan (when Dd told me to) is the day I started spotting.

Me and DH might want to try again when I ovulate next, any stories about trying again before having a period here? I know waiting for first period so it's easier to date is usually what's recommended, but I don't think it will be hard for us to date as I'm going to use OPK sticks. This time around it was all natural and I don't feel like there's anything to 'heal' so to speak, and mentally feel good.

@Kiki061190 exciting for the Sex scan!! 😄 not long left and hope baby is still enough for it xx

MrsMGE · 23/10/2019 07:13

@Kiki061190 That's a lot of work done! I bet it's messy, but it will sooo be worth it! Our house is nearly ready for a baby, but we haven't got one obvs 😂 At this rate I might sell up and move before anything happens.

I must admit I took a pg test today because I had one random Wondfo from last month lying around on top of my OPKs and of course it was a BFN. I'm supposedly 8DPO today. I know it's early and I know things may change, or they may not - we've all been there. So I'm not testing anymore, not thinking about it, till at least 12DPO. I'll just temp so I have the full cycle temps to review. I'm actually OK with temping now, it doesn't give my any extra stress, and now I remember to do it at the same time every morning it is totally fine with me. I'll be honest, I really don't think this is my month for some reason, so that's also taken the edge off the whole TWW and testing.

@SunStruck I'm glad the worst seems to be behind now and that it sounds like it was fairly gentle on your body, as far as it can be. Re TTC are you having a follow up scan to make sure you gave nothing retained? In the UK they don't normally offer them, you just take a pg test and ought to wait for a BFN. Really speaking it should be a BFN with no retained products, but you do read sometimes that HCG stays up regardless for whatever reason? I think waiting for a BFN is not a bad idea because your pg tests later won't be "confused" with regards to what they recognise (so you don't get false BFPs if you know what I mean). I think scans will help you decide, they'll also see the lining, won't they? Xxx

MrsMGE · 23/10/2019 07:20

@SunStruck Plus OPKs may pick up on HCG not LH and give you false results too, I don't think you're meant to be relying on them straight after the MC, have a look online. People still get pg on the first month or so, of course, so it is possible, just not sure how reliable all the tracking methods are then. Xxx

MrsMGE · 24/10/2019 06:47

Ladies, interpretation question: I had another BBT dip today (9DPO). The first one was at 5DPO, both are bang on the coverline (around 36.3C), with usual temps after O being around 36.6C. BFN yesterday as you know. Has anyone come across anything like this? Is this now dropping towards the AF? Xxx

Catconfusion · 24/10/2019 08:32

Hey @MrsMGE I just want to say it's great you saw the nurse and talked through how you're feeling. Hopefully the council long will help you.

Usually when the temps drop it indicates falling progesterone and AF coming but I'm seen the odd chart where it's pinged up again. It's worth testing again in a couple of days in case it's late implantation. Xx

Catconfusion · 24/10/2019 08:38

@SunStruck I continue to be in awe of your positive attitude. It's so hard after loss but it does really help. I felt a shift in myself towards being happier and having more gratitude just before I conceived after 4 months of bad luck. Just keep doing what you're doing and I'm sure you'll be fine.

I can't think of a reason to wait really. If you're tracking your cycle you'll know when you ovulated so dating the pregnancy won't be a problem. I ovulated straight after both losses albeit late. You never know, it might just happen and stick. Supposedly you're more fertile after a loss. Also as things were all natural there's nothing to heal. So long as you have a negative test and feel everything passed I'd go for it. I really hope next time is the one! Xx

MrsMGE · 24/10/2019 09:13

@Catconfusion Thanks. That's a bit gutting even though I didn't have my hopes up anyway. No idea when AF is going to come then. How are you doing? Xxx

Catconfusion · 24/10/2019 09:26

@MrsMGE just see what happens, you never know. Maybe your body just needed this cycle to get ready for next time. It's great O came a bit earlier.

I'm ok thank you. 15 weeks plus 4 now. Getting a bit of joint pain now but I have arthritis so it was expected as I get further in.

Just hoping if this isn't it you can try again very soon. Hopefully you'll get an earlier O again. Xx

MrsMGE · 24/10/2019 11:29

@Catconfusion Wow, 15+4 it's absolutely flying by! I so wish I could have some good news soon as well, it feels like this entire year was a blow after blow and not much positive news to hold on to. Is there anything you can do for your joint pain at all?

Yes, I guess if this cycle is not the one for me again, I agree that the quicker O (and hopefully a shorter cycle, more like my normal pre-MC length) make it a tiny bit easier to digest and wait again. I kind of want 12 or 14DPO to come as AF is probably likely to arrive then and then I can have some wine, I'm actually really looking forward to it 🍷 xxx

MrsMGE · 25/10/2019 22:18

@SunStruck How are you, sista? I hope everything is OK, thinking about you xxx

Kiki061190 · 26/10/2019 13:55

Hi ladies! Just popping in to say I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! I’ve been so so busy this week, it’s been hard to stop and catch up.

@MrsMGE How are you? How have you been feeling?

@SunStruck Has the bleeding slowed? I hope you are doing ok!

OP posts:
Catconfusion · 26/10/2019 14:28

Arh @MrsMGE I really hope you have good news too. Not much I can do for joint pain. I'm going to start physio though and trying not to overdo walking. I've had the most active week for a long time this week so I'm taking it easy today.

Not long until that wine now. Wine is such a good way to relax. In a couple of weeks hopefully you can try again. Fingers crossed for you! Xx

Catconfusion · 26/10/2019 14:28

How are you getting on @SunStruck ? I hope you're feeling ok! Xx

MrsMGE · 27/10/2019 18:31

Hey girls! Sorry for the radio silence, I got so busy in work and then at home that I barely used my phone in the last few days (not a bad thing!). DH and I had a busy Saturday, blitzed the entire house, including cleaning all carpets as we've treated ourselves to a new carpet cleaner (I know, it's so sad 😂)! It was HARD work, but all worth it, the house looks and smells beautiful now. It needed it after the renovation. Now onto final painting work next month, and we're done for this year. Today was a fab day, we've been out in the sun, went out for lunch to a great vegan place and cooked up a storm for next week. All healthy, quiet, and good for the body and soul. I think I needed this. It was also nice to be away from people, just the two of us and our pets.

I'm still not really there, but I'm doing my best. I'm going to try meditation soon, I think.

How are you all doing @Kiki061190 @Catconfusion @SunStruck @APinkMouse? Hope you had a relaxing weekend xxx

Kiki061190 · 27/10/2019 19:36

@MrsMGE So glad to hear you had a fantastic weekend and you got some quality time with DH! I had a nice weekend mostly with family. Have spent this evening with my OH which has been nice. Starting to feel less sick which is nice! Great to feel more human again.

OP posts:
SunStruck · 28/10/2019 01:31

Hi girls, sorry for the radio silcence this end too!! We have the PILs over so have been very busy with all touristy things 😄 thanks for asking for me, bleeding has stopped now and temp right down to way under cover line! When did you ladies get a negative if you didn't have a MMC? (When it was a natural early loss)? And when did you ovulate?

I am going to start tracking OPK from next week, Natural Cycles say I should ovulate in 2 weeks but who knows if it might be delayed. I've decided against going back for a scan to check no retained products because I feel this time was natural, bleeding stopped, temp right down (I had high temp when I had retained products last time). I'm just going to do a pregnancy test next week. I want to try protect my MH and that chair at Dr's give me the anxiety!!! I'm also going to go all natural this time. No meds (as I always ovulate, albeit late), we conceived on the 2nd cycle both times so hopefully it happens quickly again.

Trying to just have fun for now, been out having lots of nice rose wine this weekend and watching the World Cup, got a few nice dinners coming up and obviously our trip to KL. Looks like I'm ovulating just around then so 🤞 I've not booked any trips for next year as I think might be preg and wanting to save hols for maternity so this little impromptu getaway is just what I need!

@MrsMGE you sound much calmer and happier, that makes me happy ❤️ cleaning sounds great and all done up for Xmas - can't believe it's just around the corner again! Year has flown by. How many DPO now, or can you finally have wine? 😄
Loving days in with my pets too, I'm so happy we have them! Seeing their little faces when we get back from work after another shit day or month if TTC, temping, periods, mcs... I truly believe pets are great for you and MH ❤️

@Catconfusion im glad to hear you're feeling better!!! And look at you, all activities! :) is the bump coming along nicely? Are you showing yet? Xx

@Kiki061190 how are you hun? Sounds like you're also keeping busy which is amazing!!! Are you also showing? I'm so interested in everything pregnancy haha, I can't keep myself wondering when I will show when I'm p next!!! I think it's so cute! 🤰🏻

Kiki061190 · 28/10/2019 07:06

@SunStruck Sounds like you’ve had a fab weekend. Glad everything has went well with the mc and you can move on to ttc again. It’s great you’re wanting to do it all natural, I don’t think you’ll be waiting long for your bfp! Keeping busy has been the best thing for me, I have a gender scan in a week and just hoping baby is ok in there until then! I am not really showing yet, I just look like I’ve ate a bit more than usual and I’m bloated 😂 looking forward to having an actual well defined bump!

OP posts:
MrsMGE · 28/10/2019 07:19

Ahh @SunStruck glad it seems it's all finished now, all the right signs, that's good. Also good you've filled your diary with nice things to look forward to ❤️

Well I haven't had wine because I actually fancied a healthy weekend - got an extremely busy week in work and need to be on top form. Going to the gym + yoga this week to stay on top of the game.

I am 13 DPO, temps have been up since they dipped on 9DPO and no AF signs. I tested and all BFNs so not keeping my hopes up. I just want AF to come quickly so I can try again next cycle. It's CD31 so it looks like it will arrive when it normally would before my MMC, fingers crossed. And I'm already past a 12 day LP, so again a sigh of relief. Just want to move on now really. But annoyed that everything seems to be working fine down there, but it's not bringing me a positive result, but what can I do. Counting down till next month now. Looks like our Greek Islands will happen next year as even if I were to fall pg, I should be able to go. This makes my heart happy.

Re BFN as you know I had medical management so sorry I can't help. FWIW I didn't test till 3 weeks after and it was a BFN, I suspect I would have got it much sooner than this though.

Lots of love to you all, have a good week xxx

MrsMGE · 28/10/2019 11:03

@Kiki061190 Glad you're feeling better, and don't you worry, this bump will show soon! Maybe you're one of those ladies that will just "pop" one day 😂 This must be such an odd/funny feeling.

I must say, I've mastered the Deliciously Ella balls, I now make them every weekend and planning to munch on them following my gym session today. They are just delicious 😍 xxx

Kiki061190 · 28/10/2019 13:12

@MrsMGE I’m quite looking forward to getting past the bloated looking stage 😂 thankfully my clothes are all still fitting. I am so jealous you’ve mastered the Ella balls! I love them! Your BFP is coming soon don’t worry!

OP posts:
SunStruck · 29/10/2019 01:26

@MrsMGE oh well done on healthy weekend! Body feel so much better for it. I also always food prep on the weekends for a healthy week ahead. My downfall is usually the weekends ha-ha, I love my food and drinks!

It sounds great regarding your cycle, it seems to well and truly be back to normal and not awfully long! It really takes a while after mmc. Amazing about holiday to the Greek islands and that you'll be able to go! Hopefully with a little bean in you.

I'm also active this week, PT and cardio sessions in the mornings! Endorphins make me feel better. I'm just trying to be kind to myself because I always go on a 'I want to lose half a stone' rampage, I want to succeed with this before I get pregnant and then really disappointed/beating myself up when I don't! I want to focus on being healthy to feel good this time around. It's difficult though and I'm sure you'll understand as weight is something measurable which means = success if lost... it's harder to measure mental health.

I'm babbling now!

@Kiki061190 oh how exciting! Do you have an inkling? 😄 boy or girl? and you'll be 16 now? Xxx

MrsMGE · 29/10/2019 09:33

@SunStruck I agree, for me it's not about losing weight for me anymore, it's about nurturing my body not to freak out mentally tbh.

I'm on a downer today, just feel nothing will ever work and I'm close to giving up on TTC completely. Please don't come back telling me "this is when you're going to succeed" as I don't particularly want to hear this upbeat tune now. All it does is proves that it works like this for everyone else, but not for me, and I'm feeling even worse then. My due date is looming and if I'm not pg within the next cycle, it will come. Then it will be a year of TTC. Then my DH will be old, and I will be getting on too. Most importantly I'm not sure how I'm supposed to live in this negativity for so long. Everyone has moved on and I'm not even on the start line. I can't believe I am finding myself in this position. Xxx
