I'm starting a Follow on thread for Week 1 as we've been so busy chatting and supporting each other, while there is still space to link to it on the first thread Smile

I once googled 'outline of a Muslim woman' for a class drawing the traditional dress. It was on the big interactive white board. First hit? A woman who has been blown up and her body laid out on the pavement.

Another time I googled 'Easter chick'. Lots of naked ladies projected up for a class of shocked year 7.

Still holding on to my job! I often have to Google things like 'unholy trinity of rape' or 'was canabalism even accpetavke' dread to think what the IT Lot think!

Still have my job though!

ZiggZagg · 18/04/2021 12:27

@Bestbees Grin

Random789 · 18/04/2021 12:35

Those look absolutely delicious, venusandmars.
Lol, nowlook at my excuses to the cops. Grin

venusandmars · 18/04/2021 12:45

The dietdoctor chocolate cake is not so successful. It has just eggs, butter and chocolate, no sugar or sugar substitute. I used 90% cocoa (that's all I had in the house) and it's very, very un-sweet [eek]!! Not helped by using salted butter. I'm OK with it like that but I think for dh and SILs I'll need to put some raspberry jam in the middle and top with sweetened whipped cream.

Ah well, can't win them all!

colouringindoors · 18/04/2021 12:48

Morning all. Off topic but hey, worst night sweats ever last night. Awful. Had to strip sheets. Joys of peri-menopause.... assuming therefore that I'm pretty dehydrated!

B greek yog
L omlette and salad
D chicken "curry" and veg

ouchmyfeet · 18/04/2021 13:12

@venusandmars I failed with that cake a couple of weeks ago too. Used a mix of 70% choc and the montezumas 90% and it was rank! It's good in that you won't be too tempted by it...

Just had the lamb mince dish that @Pleaseandthankyou
posted last week for my lunch, had it with lettuce and Greek yoghurt and it was gorgeous.

Welcome to all the newbies. If we're talking google stories I learned my lesson when arranging to meet friends for a pub lunch. They suggested the Cock Inn. I googled to check whether it had a kids menu. My chosen search phrase, on my work computer, was "cock inn kids"

MrsOmelette · 18/04/2021 13:19

@BIWI I’ve actually been drinking much more water than usual as I really like herbal tea in sparkling water, I’ve upped fats more than protein as need to do a shop so it’s been cheese/homemade mayonnaise with veg...I just can’t seem to stop going back through to the kitchen again and again. I feel as if it may be as I went back to having breakfasts, as that’s all that’s changed. Well, that and getting lots of nice veg in 😆. It’s mental hunger rather than physical, I believe, I’ve been an overeater for my whole life.

Makegoodchoices · 18/04/2021 14:07

@ouchmyfeet This is all making me feel much better about the time I needed to buy a drawstring hold-all for carrying netballs.

Got a quick visit from IT after searching for ball bags on a work computer.

FinallyHere · 18/04/2021 14:15

I googled Cathy Twat just to see if there was

This made me laugh out loud 😆

VeryLittleOwl · 18/04/2021 14:35

Look what I found waiting in the field for me first thing this morning Grin

I've done five hours at my friend's farm this morning and have already hit 12,000 steps. Soup and cheese for lunch, haggis and neeps for supper, easy on the haggis for me as it's really a bit too carby for boot camp.

VeryLittleOwl · 18/04/2021 14:36

Bugger, picture didn't attach.

B Greek yogurt greene tea
L Spinach hard boiled egg Chicken
D Lamb chop broccoli cauliflower string beans.
And 2l water

BlueLilyLilyBlue · 18/04/2021 14:46

Quick update again, busy weekend! Having real trouble not picking at bits in fridge though. I can't wait until the appetite suppression kicks in, it's my favourite thing about this WOE. I'm not really hungry I just want to pick!! Drinking some peppermint tea instead.

B - greek yoghurt
L - chicken, boiled egg and mayo salad
D - leftover yuk sung with lettuce

ListenLinda · 18/04/2021 15:55

Been out all day again today, took a picnic in the cool bag. Cheese salad and cold sausages for me while the others scoffed sausage rolls crisps and bananas!
DH is making his burgers tonight, I’m going to have one with my last SLC roll and the other with a romaine lettuce leaf. More salad probably.

Weighed myself yesterday & today, good so far with a slight fluctuation... will weigh again tomorrow & hope that most of my gain from two weeks of being a Cathy Twat has gone :)

Momsincharge · 18/04/2021 16:01

@VeryLittleOwl looks like the rural idyll!

BIWI · 18/04/2021 16:42

Aww how lovely @VeryLittleOwl!

Angliski · 18/04/2021 16:50

@VeryLittleOwl lambleeeeees! ( squeaks and claps)

Lovely day out today. We went to see the bluebells at our favourite spot and they were spectacular.

Brekkie sausages and eggs with veggies
Lunch duck pate and salad and sauerkraut ( sliver of verboten mango)
Dinner will be green soup with goats curd and maybe some fried tofu.

Prepping osso bucco this eve. Yum.

Bestbees · 18/04/2021 16:53

@VeryLittleOwl squee! So sweet. I just drive past a place called Little owl farm with a picture of a sheep and wondered if it was you!

StuntNun · 18/04/2021 17:35

@Random789

I googled Cathy Twat just to see if there was some poor soul who actually has that name and is being blamed here for everyone's relapses. Bootcamp is the second google result, and every other result on the page is porn -- as I should have anticipated if I hadn't been suh a doe-eyed numpty.
Random789 I wonder whether we'll end up with a load of porn addicts on the next Bootcamp...?

MrsOmelette eating breakfast usually leads to me snacking all day too. I'm definitely less hungry when I do 16:8.

B: bacon and eggs, kefir
L: salt and vinegar halloumi which didn't work too well and two cold boiled eggs from the fridge with mayo
D: gammon, celeriac and leek mash, green beans plus DH made parsley sauce as our parsley plant in the garden has grown wildly over the past few weeks

Oneborneverydecade · 18/04/2021 17:37

We went for a walk up and down a very steep hill on the South Downs Way today and I've honestly never seen so many lambs in one place. So cute. I thought of you @VeryLittleOwl

The difference I find in my fitness having lost the weight and started C25K is crazy. We walked over 6k with our almost 3 and 9yo.

@venusandmars they look lush

@prettybird I forgot the rocket and mint Grin

surprisedbyjoy · 18/04/2021 17:40

Finally caught up! Had a couple of busy days and suddenly there were about 500 posts to read.

Love the sheep pics. Just back from dropping DD at her hospital placement and drove past lots of fields with lambs enjoying the sunshine.

I’m the owner of the trousers of truth but love the bracelet of truth. When I first lost weight I had to have all my rings resized. Never really thought my fingers were fat!

The patchwork jacket upthread is gorgeous. I’d love to try some but can’t imagine it happening while I’m working so have to hope my eyesight is good enough when I retire.

Whoever posted about making the butter chicken with prawns is genius. I’ve made the chicken version a couple of times. Second time I made double quantity whilst I had all the bits out and froze the chicken in its marinade and the sauce separately which worked well.

I had a 1:1 session with my Pilates teacher. The flipping clock stopped and neither of us noticed until I’d done an hour and a half! Rather sore. Grin

Otherwise all good foodwise. Struggling a bit to keep up the water intake but nothing new there. Good luck with weigh ins tomorrow!

Momsincharge · 18/04/2021 18:00

Breakfast: egg omelet cup
Lunch: green salad with tomatoes and roast chicken breast (oil and vinegar)
Dinner: Steak and asparagus

I really like reading what you all have eaten, it gives me ideas!

Struggling to drink enough water, so have ordered a 2 litre water bottle on Amazon. Hopefully this will keep me on track.

Makegoodchoices · 18/04/2021 18:39

I’m still scared of the celeriac. So I made cauliflower broccoli cheese to go with my roast chicken instead. And it was delicious.

Absolutely rubbish with the water today. Will do better tomorrow.

prettybird · 18/04/2021 18:44

I've made my mum's fabulous cheesy lasagne adapted to be low carb for tonight's meal - my dad is coming over (we alternate Sunday night suppers). I've made half of it with lasagne sheets and the other half with courgette slices. It's yummy Smile

I bought two creme brûlées in Lidl for dh and dad for dessert. I could have made my low carb version but for these initial two weeks, I'm being good and avoiding the low carb sugar replacements Halo I'll maybe have some cheese.

random BIWI thanks v much for meno replies. Had hoped to get back fixed before taking more supplements etc but maybe not after last night Hmm

Don't have too much caffeine - one tea, one coffee a day - and dont want to stop those. Alcohol I do need to reduce on a permanent basis, hoping bootcamp will help (and getting back fixed!)

Definitely have less appetite today which is good Grin
