Thanks again for another fabulous bootcamp!

I started at 15st 0,25lbs
Today weigh 13st 12.5lbs
So a loss of just over a stone which is fantastic!

I actually started this in January at 21st 13.75lbs, over the three bootcamp sand carrying on in between I have lost 8st 1.25lbs!

I'm already looking forward to the next bootcamp Flowers

FurryTurnip · 18/12/2017 08:06

Oops, I posted in the other thread but will repeat here. Total loss of 16lbs, which has taken me to under my goal, so maintenance starts today (week!).

Good luck for weigh ins and well down to everyone!

shrinkinvi · 18/12/2017 08:15

I just wanted to delurk to say a huge thank you to everyone on the bootcamp threads, especially BIWI. I first started reading them before my holiday in July and have been low carbing ever since. I started at 14.7 and this morning I am 12.5. I haven't seen this weight for over 25 years so I am delighted even though I now need a new wardrobe Smile. It seems a natural way of eating for me now and I feel so much better for it. The information, recipes and especially the support on here are an inspiration.

HolgerDanske · 18/12/2017 08:16

Hello everyone!

Haven’t weighed in two weeks as I’ve been so unwell, haven’t really done anything other than go to work and come home to bed.

I’ve weighed in at 140.6

Please could someone add me to the spreadsheet?

I don’t actually know how much I've lost overall as I can’t remember what my starting weight was for bc, so if someone could let me know I would be grateful! But whatever it is, I’m happy with it, and for me this isn’t the end, it’s just another place to stop, take note of progress made and then get back to things.

Good luck everyone, today at weigh-in and also in navigating the Christmas period in a way that makes you happy and also lets you be well.

I’ll see some of you over on the maintenance thread soon (I’ve got a very little more to lose but I’m also happy to stay where I am so either way it’s all good - really I just want to keep making healthy choices and stay in a positive frame of mind).

Happy Christmas to everyone, and well done!! Flowers Flowers Flowers

HolgerDanske · 18/12/2017 08:21

Oh yes, BIG THANKS to everyone who helped to run bc, and to BIWI.

ASDismynormality · 18/12/2017 08:25

Holger. I have updated and that's a fabulous 13.5lb loss for you Flowers

ilovecherries · 18/12/2017 08:26

I wasn't at 3.30 this morning to catch a flight for a meeting, so I'll weigh tomorrow. Lovely to read all your successes. :)

Kleptronic · 18/12/2017 08:35

I lost 5lb overall. Thanks BIWI.

Thiswillbemyusername · 18/12/2017 08:50

Today's weight: 134.8lbs

Total loss since start of BC: 1.7lb

I have been strict BC for all of this time (1 cheat day and a couple of BC light days), so I'm not really sure why my loss is so low.

SoMuchToBits · 18/12/2017 08:53

Thank you BIWI and everyone else who has helped with bootcamp. I have stayed the same yet again this week, despite staying on track with food, but I have had a couple of glasses of wine at party/concert this week, so maybe that's why I'm finding it hard to lose.

I have lost a stone overall though, so am very happy with that! I'm hoping not to overindulge too much at Christmas so I don't lose the advantage I've gained, and will definitely be continuing with bootcamp in January.

For me the benefits are so much more than the weight loss though. I feel much better in myself, more calm and relaxed and positive, and my joints don't ache nearly as much. It's worth sticking to low carb eating just for those things! I'll carry on posting, although may not be around quite so much over Christmas. It's been great seeing everyone else's success stories too!

FurryTurnip · 18/12/2017 09:10

And just to echo everyone's sentiments, thanks to BIWI and all the regulars who keep this bootcamp going. N

AveAtqueVale · 18/12/2017 09:25

I dropped my phone in the toilet last night - now using an old one of DH'S and can no longer update spreadsheet, so would someone mind adding my final weight? It's 235.8. I think k thst means a 17lb loss in total which would be fab but I can't actually remember. Just wanted to say a huge thanks to BIWI and everyone on the thread - this WOE has been an absolute revelation. I'll be 28 in February and am making a list of 30 things I want to do before I'm 30 - I wanted one to be to reach a healthy BMI but was worried about making it a goal and inevitably failing (I don't think I've been a healthy weight since I was about 7, and have been dieting in various forms since I was about 15), but with this I finally feel like it could be achievable so it's going on the official list! I'm going to hang around over Christmas and looking forward to starting again in January Xmas Smile.

Hippadippadation · 18/12/2017 09:30

I'm down another lb, now under target to 116. Not sure how to go about this maintenance business!

I started my first bootcamp at 148, so that's a total of 32lbs over 2 bootcamps, 15lbs on this one. Which isn't too shabby. Agree with the other positives as well, not just weight loss.

This it will probably be due to water retention, you'll have a whoosh soon I reckon.

Thanks to everyone for this bootcamp, which I'm referring to in my head as "The one with all the celeriac" Grin

JumpingintoLCHF · 18/12/2017 09:30

Stuck at 240 for the 2nd week but that's ok I think. 14lb off over the bc (not 17 as I thought on the last thread. If anyone could add my last 3 weigh ins that would be great thanks.

242 240 240

It's been inspirational thank you. Will definitely be signing in for the next bootcamp.

YoLoElfSocks · 18/12/2017 09:44

4.4 down overall this BC. I'm a long term loser so that's fine with me.

36.7 lbs down since I started my first BC in May this year.

I have said this before but it has literally changed my life.

Well done to everyone else. Whether you are like me and still have a long way to go or have already reached maintenance. Just ride the ups and downs and KOKO. It'll all work out in the end if you stick to the rules more or less as we are all human

Singadream · 18/12/2017 09:54

I completely messed up this week. Christmas lunch out. Child’s bday party etc. Even ate a pizza! A whole one. Sigh. Will weigh in tonight though as forgot last night.

blackteaplease · 18/12/2017 10:26

Wow, a whoosh of 2.75 lb this week taking me to a total loss of 16.25 lbs this bootcamp. My aim was to lose 14lbs with a ultimate target of 134 but thanks to the support here I am a lot nearer target than I thought I would achieve.

Thanks all

ilovecherries · 18/12/2017 10:51

Added you, Ave. 19.8 down :)

TwoflowersLuggage · 18/12/2017 11:45

14.1lb loss on this bootcamp.
Thank you to BIWI and all the other helpers for running bootcamp. This is my first post but I have read every single post for each week and I'm sure the group support is the key thing in remaining true to this WOE.
Thanks all and Merry Christmas. See you all in the next bootcamp thread.

Cherrypi · 18/12/2017 11:53

Oops wrong thread. 1lb gain overall. Got to a 7lb loss at one point but put it back on as Christmas events started. I have discovered a love of celeriac though and that I don’t need to have breakfast in the morning. Thanks to all the people running this thread.

prettybird · 18/12/2017 12:37

Just started a sign-up thread for the New Year Boot Camp, for those that want to sign up formally. Xmas Smile

@Thiswillbemyusername

Today's weight: 134.8lbs

Total loss since start of BC: 1.7lb

I have been strict BC for all of this time (1 cheat day and a couple of BC light days), so I'm not really sure why my loss is so low.

Probably because you don't have that much to lose? You're well under 10 stone, and weight loss will slow down as you get near to your target.

AveAtqueVale · 18/12/2017 12:49

Thanks ilove. 19lbs is exciting!!

BrassicaBabe · 18/12/2017 12:59

I stated LCHF on 26th sept at 11.3. I started BC on 9th Oct at 10.11. Today I am 10.6 (or 10.4 or 10.5 a few days ago. So that's a loss of 11lbs for LCHF and 5lb for BC!

Here’s one for you though....On 23/12 last year, I weighted nearly exactly the same as now (I know, I know!) but measurements are less...1/2 inch on bust, 1 inch on waist and 1 inch on hips. AND by 23/12 last year I’d just finished that 30 day shred dvd.

And since BC I've lost 2 inches from waist and 2 inches from hips!

Jerm123 · 18/12/2017 13:26

Well done to everyone. Flowers

I weighed in at exactly 14 st and started at 15 st. So a 14lbs loss in 10 weeks. I have been as low as 13,12, but only for the odd day. The 14stone seems to be sticking.

I’m going to have the odd treat now and over Christmas and hope I don’t put on too much. I will be back on track in January with a vengeance. 1.4lbs per week is not a quick fix, but despite the stall weeks is a nice, steady and safe amount to loose.

Thank you to all the people who take the time to post and answer all the questions. A very happy Christmas to all.
