Will someone please explain what a bullet journal is?

There is a thread in housekeeping which will explain it better than I will but basically it's using a normal notebook as a diary/planner/life changer.

You set it up to suit yourself so no restrictions on layout. You can also put additional pages in to keep track of other things. I have weight loss, grown up stuff, gift ideas.

You have an index at the front so you just put stuff in as it happens and don't need to leave any blank pages.

I started my Bullet Journal the other day, after getting the one I wanted from DH for Christmas.
Need to design a nice weight tracker for it...

Problem with that Rshard is I go up as well as down! Also i weigh daily. Suppose I could do a special bootcamp tracker and only count the official weigh day weight - but still not sure what to do if I gain...

May also be because I went down with a horrible cold yesterday and am feeling fuzzy headed and very sorry for myself. Trying not to think about toast but will be medicating with red wine later!

Mozart, its funny how being ill makes us want comfort carbs. I'm not very well either, and have been craving toast, lentil soup, milky coffee and custard. Scrambled eggs and bullion just aren't providing the same sense of coddling. And I'm even still off the bloody wine - day 364! I've tried to be kind to myself in other ways - bought a couple of new books for the holiday weekend, wearing my comfiest and warmest clothes, cranking the heating up a bit etc - but I still want toast! Preferably sourdough. Grin

LOL ilove 😀 I have sourdough in the bread bin because it is what DH likes but I have stayed away from it (although not the glass of red wine for medicinal purposes 😗). Have cuddled up on the sofa watching Poirot and eating turkey, gammon and cheese.
Hoping to feel better by the prelims on 2nd for the new year boot camp starting on 8th.
2018 is going to be the year of finally losing it all. I can feel it in my bones (well those bones I can feel!!)

I don't have a bullet journal, but do have all sorts of planners, including a Christmas one.

I had friends round today for drinks/snacks. Managed to do reasonably low carb snacks, not too much left. Not too much damage done!

Checked my weight this morning and I've put on 5lbs. I'm hoping to shift that pretty quickly now that I'm in charge of my food again. I'm planning to have a drink or two tonight and then attempt dry January which will help.

I’ll join you in dry January blacktea. I did it last year too and actually carried on into February until we went on holiday
