I know! Doesn't time fly when you're having fun? Wink

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for your delectation!

Remember, week 4 is, like week 3, a time when weight loss tends to be pretty slow, if not non-existent. KOKO and persevere, and things will get going again soon.

But not if you cheat! Whilst many of you have been very honest about your transgressions, just remember that this WOE is not a very forgiving one. It's not like a calorie-controlled diet, where you can compensate for one 'bad' day with a 'good' one. As some of you have already found out the hard way!

Checking in!

L238 · 12/06/2017 07:41

2lb off this week, 5.8 in total. Slow and steady - I can live with that.
More excitingly the scales seem to show a 0.5% downshift in body fat.
Not massively hungry this morning so might have a quick look at the IF thread & see if I want to introduce that on a few days.
Good luck to everyone weighing in this morning

explodingkittens · 12/06/2017 07:42

Up a pound. Ah well, could be worse, it's been a very odd week in many ways with a couple of days of barely eating at all (not a good idea) and a couple of days with sugary stuff creeping in. Plus a whole night of lost sleep which I'm sure can't be good for weightloss!

Feeling bloated and carby this morning so am gonna get right back on it with lots of water and veg. It really has shown me how much carbs affect me though, which I think is a good thing. It makes cheating far less attractive!

StuntNun · 12/06/2017 07:45

Strangely I'm 2lb up this morning after a consistent week of eating low carb so I suspect the flaxseed bread is causing water retention. I'll leave it out for a couple of days and see whether I deflate. Confused

Cherrypi · 12/06/2017 07:50

Right accountability starts here.
B Homemade yoghurt with a teaspoon of cocoa nibs. Two glasses of water and a creamy coffee
L sausage and mushrooms
T whatever has the shortest date from our supermarket delivery.

If I strain my homemade yoghurt will it reduce the carb count? Realised yesterday I drank no water at all. No wonder I gained.

MyShinyThing · 12/06/2017 07:54

1.6lbs down this week, very happy with that. Probably a bit skewed as I didn't eat until dinner yesterday, I just found I wasn't hungry at all! Plenty of veg with dinner though & I won't be making a habit of it.

Well done everyone for KOKO!

AdalindSchade · 12/06/2017 07:55

weight still not dropping much. I've had 2 periods in 3 weeks so I'm assuming my body is responding to the lack of carbs but fat loss isn't really happening. I'm goinf to carry on though smile

FinallyHere · 12/06/2017 07:56

Morning all [blatant place marking]

OldBooks · 12/06/2017 07:56

Let me be a dire warning. A small gingerbread biscuit on Saturday + 2 chips on Sunday = 5lbs gain on Monday Sad Back into the 16 stone bracket. I need to sort myself out.

Game plan:

  1. DON'T FUCKING CHEAT
  2. Don't eat so much dairy. Dairy (cream & cheese) to be component of meals but not main part or snack. Greek yog to be limited to a few spoons for dessert if needed.
  3. Up the salad and veg.
  4. Try not to eat for emotional reasons. If feeling snacking/craving urge then drink big mug of hot tea
MOIST · 12/06/2017 08:00

OldBooks. I could have written that plan. That is exactly what I need to hold in my mind Flowers

readyforno2 · 12/06/2017 08:00

Hi everyone.
Couldn't keep up with the thread last week. It's been super busy here with our local Gala.

Anyway. I have kept to bootcamp apart from Saturday when I was in the pub (and drinking on the green, in the marquee etc.)

Didn't eat anything that I shouldn't have but hey ho..
last week I was 13 3.4, today I'm 13 4. Could someone please pop it on the spreadsheet for me?

I'm finding it so much easier not having breakfast, food today will be
B - coffee with cream
L - mushroom omelette
D - will depend on what time my food shop arrives
KOKO everyone! Flowers

StuntNun · 12/06/2017 08:03

Adalind the upset to your menstrual cycle indicates that you are losing fat. It's much more likely that you're having water retention as a side effect of the errant hormones. Are you getting all your water in?

StuntNun · 12/06/2017 08:06

Does anyone have any recommendations for bouillon-type drinks? I tried some liquid chicken stock mixed with water but it wasn't particularly nice. I know I should make my own but I'm not organised enough.

secretsignal · 12/06/2017 08:08

Morning! No time to catch up at the moment, but weighed in at 146.2, could you add me pls wombattoo? V. happy with that given it's the dreaded week 3.

TheWayOfTheWorld · 12/06/2017 08:08

I am also having trouble posting on the mobile site...

Hhm, seem to have put on a lb overnight, so official weigh-in is 0.4lb down. May be the flax seed bread and/or Saturday's run causing some water retention.

Important thing is the trend is downward and I feel and look better. KOKO!

secretsignal · 12/06/2017 08:08

Week 4 Blush

Kleptronic · 12/06/2017 08:17

2.2lb off. I'm almost back at start weight after camping week of carby hell!

FallenMadonnawiththeBadBoobies · 12/06/2017 08:18

I haven't been able to keep up with the thread at all as I've had 0ne of those really busy weeks. I was doing well until Thursday. This is in spite of being in a hotel for a training course for two days. I was pretty good at keep9ng away from the biscuits in the room and the alcohol, but I'll admit to cheating with a couple of small puddings.

Then it all went pearshaped. I had a very stressful drive back home and hit the wine and the carbs when I got in. And that remained the story for the weekend. So, I think I got off lightly with my half a pound increase.

Back to it today. Good luck everyone. Xx

ASDismynormality · 12/06/2017 08:21

I've gained this week, really not happy as I haven't cheated so it's not like I had a pice of cake and feel like it was worth it!

I have been obsessing over food for the past few days, I wish I could just have a break from food but unlike other adddictions, alcohol cigarettes, it's just not possible,

Asmoto · 12/06/2017 08:25

Just 1lb off this week, which is exactly in line with what BIWI said about weightloss slowing down. KOKO!

bellalurgy · 12/06/2017 08:28

Day 126 for me so not representative of week 4 and I've lost 4lbs Grin bringing my total to 29lbs overall.

Nothing really to report - the gp thinks I may have gallstones so waiting for a scan. I've not had another attack but I've limited dairy and having small meals just in case. At least with no carbs involved I'm not hungry!

Brunch will be spinach and mushroom omelette
Dinner leftover fathead pizza with a green salad
Greek yoghurt and raspberries if I want a snack

stuntnun I have the marigold bullion which comes in a lidded pot. It's about £2 a pot but lasts ages.

GetReady · 12/06/2017 08:28

2lbs up 😳

Good food, even better wine 🍷

😟😲😡

glenthebattleostrich · 12/06/2017 08:29

Morning everyone

1lb down, taking the total to 4.

Strict boot camp this week, no cheating, no alcohol and a couple of fast days to hopefully get things moving along a bit faster.

Today will be:

B green tea, small bowl Greek yogurt.
L omlette
D roast beef with asparagus.

Meant to be running tonight but pulled my lower back muscles doing yoga yesterday (note to self, yoga and hangover not a good mix) so going to play it by ear and see how I feel later.
