Morning all!

Welcome to the second (or third if you didn't ubercamp) week of Bootcamp

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

And the Weight Tracker

I'm off to Leicester this morning, and won't be back until tomorrow evening, and no idea how much access I'll have to wifi/broadband, so apologies for any radio silence!

Hope you all had a good weekend, and here's to a good week

oh, I meant to add something. I had a non-scale triumph today, I just realised that today I had a top on that I usually only wear in emergencies. It used to roll up under my lab coat Blush because it was tight, I had it on today and it didn't roll at all Grin

readyforno2 · 07/08/2014 22:02

SayraT,
Where do you do pole? Is it local? I did a 6 week course a few years ago in Edinburgh and loved it. Would love to do it again.
Almost 3lb down for me this week. I think this last 18-20lbs are going to be the hardest.

SayraT · 07/08/2014 22:44

I go to classes in Edinburgh, St Margarets arts complex. I used to go to classes when I was in Glasgow but stopped for a couple of years and just started back this year. It is the best exercise I've ever done and its really helped tone my legs and waist.

The name of the place I go sounds as if it will be stripper-y but its really not, my friends and I have a private lesson. If you are interested I will send you the link in a PM.

Since I am a show off here are two pictures, one from when I started (March) and one from last week. Hopefully you can see the difference that it has made Smile

Seaside trip went well. Sunburn aside Said no to ice cream, and donuts. Grin They picked McDs for lunch, but after a few nuggets I was full. Deliberately didn't order any fries.

Definitely fell flat on the water intake - I was right when I said I'd struggle. Been topping up since we got back but it's not enough, my lips are dry.

Glad I've said I'm not weighing until the end, because I know tomorrow would read a gain, and I'd struggle not to eat my feelings over that. I'm turning a corner, maybe, with acknowledging potential triggers.

I could have really splurged today, food wise : "It's a treat" or "one off" but reading that Pig to Twig/idiot proof diet made me realise that, if I did that, every day would have some reason to splurge.

Tomorrow I have the day (8am- 5pm) to myself, and nothing to do. I can't decide if I should go to the gym (I go regularly, so it's not a 'big thing'), go for a hike, or just chill with a book. I did walk 7 miles of seaside today though. Smile

readyforno2 · 07/08/2014 22:50

I would love the link if you don't mind?
Don't you do it with heels on? I remember it being so much easier in heels.
Love the photos by the way, you look fab!

SayraT · 07/08/2014 22:55

No heels allowed on the floor in this studio and I've never liked doing it in heels tbh.

I'll PM you the link now Smile

Morning all. Apologies for the silence - we have no broadband at home, and haven't since Tuesday Angry Hmm, and I'm a bit frantic at work!

Hope everyone's having a good week. Sayra, you look great on that pole, i've always fancied it but always been to scared to give it a shot. I might give it a go.

Having a really good week Bootcamp wise, in the swing of things and have been planning - that's without a doubt the key for me.

My new at work breakfast find is a scrambled egg with a wafer thin slice of corned beef scrambled into it and lots of butter. Sounds grim but it tastes AMAZING. The beef is sliced really thin so it all breaks up in the egg.

mildly challenging weekend ahead, have a afternoon tea to contend with tomorrow. Going to eat before I go and order something else when i'm there. They do lovely quiche and i'll just leave the pastry.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis do you use a specific bread recipe for your flax pancakes? Are they nice? I can never get flax to lose it's slimy texture.

SchroSawMargeryDaw · 08/08/2014 09:31

Weighed last night and was 145lbs! Confused, that would be 5\bs in a day.

Firsttimer7259 · 08/08/2014 09:40

Betty - for me def also about planning. Really wanted toast for breakfast so defrosted the second half of my lc bread last night - toast for breakfast, twas wonderful, twas marvellous.

Pole looks fun Sayra.

Im all paused again on the weightloss, if the last weeks are a yardstick then this week Ill just lose 0.8lb. A bit annoying but on the other hand I keep looking down at myself and going - yep definately thinner - so thats fun Grin

SchroSawMargeryDaw · 08/08/2014 09:58

Sayra What one in Glasgow did you go to? That's where I am and it looks fun.
You look fab there! Xx

questions2008 · 08/08/2014 11:48

schro that's great work!

I did stick with vodka and DC last night and went for another quick run this morning to try and get my bowels moving burn off the alcohol/give my rubbish metabolism a kick up the arse.

Today's menu...

B - 2 fried eggs and black coffee
L - Bacon & mayo and spinach
D - ?

SchroSawMargeryDaw · 08/08/2014 12:42

I don't know how it has happened, I think the sugar free stuff I ate may have erm, cleared me out.

I have generally been eating loads, but as one meal a day so maybe a kind of intermittant fasting effect?

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 08/08/2014 13:28

betty this is the recipe I use a loaf lasts me a week. I like it sliced really thin and toasted crisp with loads of salty butter.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 08/08/2014 13:29

Oh and to make pancakes, just added more water.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 08/08/2014 13:31

Sorry, and I add a tablespoon of oil to my bread recipe.

readyforno2 · 08/08/2014 14:14

Fuck.
Today I have had a glass of milk and an apple off my dads tree Confused
In my defence I was up with ds most of the night so actually my glass of milk was at around 3:30 this morning.

ImATotJeSuisUneTot · 08/08/2014 14:18

Been to the local market for some meat. I'm very lucky as the nearest is huge, and world famous. Got loads, including a couple of whole cornfed chickens for £5. Am going to cook one up and keep it in the fridge for nibbles with my Delouis mayo. Grin

SayraT · 08/08/2014 18:18

Thanks betty I'd really recommend it if you can find a place. I'm, always happy to show people pictures and stuff as lots of people think they cant do it because they are "too fat/heavy". In the first photo I am around 16st 4 or something and in the second 15st 3/4 it doesn't matter what weight you are really. Obviously there are some restrictions but I was on a pole when I was 17st and it was fine.

schro well done on the weight loss Grin I'll PM you about Glasgow pole, I went to two different places.

I wish I had chicken jesuis just as I read your post I thought, thats what I want for dinner...I'll have to have it tomorrow instead Smile

Food Today

B: Coffee with cream
L: Tuna mayo, iceberg lettuce
D: Smoked mackerel maybe
S: Pepper sticks

ImATotJeSuisUneTot · 08/08/2014 19:00

It was REALLY tasty Sayra. Grin

SayraT · 08/08/2014 19:09

I wish I did have chicken, I had my smoked mackerel but managed to get a bone stuck in my tonsil Shock

I have holey tonsils from tonsillitis and could just feel it, luckily I don't have much of a gag reflex so managed to get it out. I'm not going to eat the rest of my mackerel so need to find something else to have.
