Morning all!

Welcome to the second (or third if you didn't ubercamp) week of Bootcamp

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

And the Weight Tracker

I'm off to Leicester this morning, and won't be back until tomorrow evening, and no idea how much access I'll have to wifi/broadband, so apologies for any radio silence!

Hope you all had a good weekend, and here's to a good week

Ready They are sized so big, great feeling to work way down sizes but I know what you mean about buying while still losing, some of the stuff that is now too big is stuff I bought a month or so ago to slim down to fit in for my holiday, really don't want to spend all that money again for the same thing to happen.

Hope you enjoy the garlic chicken. :)

Questions :)

BIWI · 04/08/2014 12:40

One thing to be aware of, if you haven't low carbed before (or to remind you if you have!) is that weeks 3 and 4 are notorious for little or no weight loss, especially if you've seen a big loss in the first couple of weeks.

Don't be downhearted - it's perfectly normal - just keep on keeping on and you will be fine.

Marking my place. Some great losses here, well done! I lost 6lbs this week and I am really pleased. I tried on the summer dress of truth and I could zip it up. True, it is a tad tight but I couldn't get it done up at all last week.

SchroSawMargeryDaw · 04/08/2014 15:29

Well done Live (love the name btw). :o

I'm starving for a change so dinner is on, spicy mayo chicken wings, tikks chicken steak and cheese and bacon stuffed mushrooms (thank you Asda and your wonderfully low carb pre prepared meats). Tesco is so rubbish for low carb, everything is packed with sugar, love Asda and Aldi now and used to hate both.

ImATotJeSuisUneTot · 04/08/2014 15:47

Cocoa butter BPC - yum! Grin

Earlybird · 04/08/2014 15:50

I'm down this week 1.8 lbs (every little bit is hard won!).

As a low carb newbie, I enjoy reading what all of you cook. It has opened my eyes to how I can enjoy really yummy food without being sentenced to a life of plain steamed veggies, dressing-less salads, and grilled skinless chicken breast. It really is all about learning how to eat and cook differently.

Hattieboomboom · 04/08/2014 16:17

Hi all, only down a pound but I don't deserve to have lost any more than that. I seem to only be able to manage a bootcamp light style. So far today I've eaten :

B: ham and two boiled eggs, tea with milk
L: picnic with friends - olives, pastrami, cherry toms, chicken and cheese
S: few walnuts
D: will be bolognaise, stuffed in peppers instead of with spaghetti.

Nevertheless I am still a total concert to low carbing.

SchroSawMargeryDaw · 04/08/2014 16:30

Dinner was divine, I may need to buy more of those wings!

Hattie Bolognese in peppers is such a good idea!

Marking place.

herecomesthsun · 04/08/2014 16:57

I have lost 1kg, so 5kg in total

herecomesthsun · 04/08/2014 17:01

by the way I seem to have fallen off the spreadsheet, I'm sure I was on it last week!

wombat22 · 04/08/2014 17:34

Ok a small gain for me but I deserved it is all I will say!
I'm with you pony for ubercamp this week. I might start posting my meals to keep me on track if that's ok
B: 2eggs with home made mayo, BPC
L: 2 chicken thighs with salad and hm mayo
S: hm pork crackling
D: steak and kidney stew (hm) with cauli and courgette
Nowhere near enough water Blush

ImATotJeSuisUneTot · 04/08/2014 17:51

Oh wow. My tea was amazing.

Chicken breast, goats cheese, and a crunchy topping made from blended pork scratchings, garlic and chilli. Served on steamed and buttered kale. Delish. Grin

readyforno2 · 04/08/2014 18:20

Mine was pretty good too..

Chicken thighs with garlic butter (thanks Schro)
With cabbage fried in butter with corned beef and double cream
Cauliflower cheese leftover from last night. Am so full!!

Suzymoo09 · 04/08/2014 19:53

Marking my place.
Have been unable to keep up with threads last two weeks, will try harder. Some good losses and recipe tips.
Keeping on.

SayraT · 04/08/2014 20:40

herecomesthesun you are still on the spreadsheet. BIWI linked to the wrong one in the OP and I put the correct link in the post below. If you clicked on the one in the OP that's the May BC.

I have just been out for dinner with my parents and I had all the wrong things Sad. I seem to have a problem. I had chosen to have smoked salmon salad and mum said "oh are you trying to be good" so then I said "no, I just fancied it, I also think the scampi looks good". Then I had scampi, all because I didn't want it to seem as if I was being "good" and missing out on purpose when actually I would have rather had the salmon.

Luckily I've got all week to actually eat the things I want and hopefully I haven't messed up my weight-loss this week.

SchroSawMargeryDaw · 04/08/2014 20:49

Arghh, I have sabotaged myself again, what the hell is wrong with me?

I ate an individual lc strawberry cheesecake (made a few for dp). :(

I had been so good today, I don't know why I keep doing this, I wasn't strugglimg before.

questions2008 · 04/08/2014 21:31

schro if it's low carb, it's not too bad, no?

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 04/08/2014 21:40

Polishing my halo. Been out with friend, stuck to coffee after eggs in a cup. Then some buttery crisp flax toast, then 4 strawberries and a spoonful of ff Greek yogurt. We had a WI event with shitloads of scrummy cakes. But I stuck to lemon and chilli chicken thigh. Came home and had coffee and two fat bombs.

SchroSawMargeryDaw · 04/08/2014 21:46

Not too bad but it's just it's sweet and I am struggling to drop this newly picked up sweet habit.

It was ground almonds, butter, some stevia, 3 strawberries, carb free strawberry syrup, some stevia and a sprinkling of really dark choc and soft cheese and double cream. Was beautiful but it's becoming a daily occurance (sf choc, toffee, atkins bars...)

I feel like crap because I just can't seem to break the habit.

trinitybleu · 04/08/2014 22:00

Tried to make a leek in cheese sauce thing, but the sauce split .....

CantEvenKeepAnOrchidAlive · 04/08/2014 22:50

Seriously struggling as I am (TMI) not going toilet properly, my stomach is in frequent cramps, I can't go when I need to. It got to the point where I was having 2 senakot tablets and 1000mg vitamin c satchets from the health food store and it made not one bit of difference. I'm swollen, feel like shit and, no surprise, haven't lost anything this week.

Starting to lose my willpower but will keep at it.

BIWI · 05/08/2014 08:24

Cant - can you list out for me what you've been eating and drinking over the last few days, see if I can help?

How much water are you drinking? How much fat are you eating?
