Am just milling about waiting for bread to cook. So exhausted. Holidays tomorrow though!

Dusty - DS1 and DS2 had their first haircut at about 6 months old! Both born with long hair. I know there are people who think it's cruel to shave little boys' heads, but DSs look cute (to me at least) with short hair. And bath time is so much easier ...

Will Kew be in the papers? But we are off on hols on Saturday, and I really can't buy the Times ... What to do?

As for us, I'm writing a big strategy document for work over the holiday and we'll be very very busy with the house again [sigh]. I can't wait for all this decorating to to be done and we can start having normal weekends again.

being on call and working during the holidays reminds me of previous job and possibly what will happens with any new jobs
hope it goes smoothly

vbus we will be at Kew in the morning, hopefully early

off to sister's house, already stressed, 2 trains carrying huge cake and bouncy child who often suddenly refuses to walk/ co operate
this is just about the only time I wish I had a car, so much easier to strap them down and ignore till destination

Sfx - hope journey went well.
Will text you when I get there tom in case you're still around. Hoping to be there around 10-10.30am unless it's completely pouring in which case I'll hide some eggs round the house and we can have a hunt at home

Hiya, hope everyone's having a good weekend!

We went to the children's farm yesterday, ds2 loved it (and ds1 enjoyed it too!). Managed to have 10 min sit down when they were playing & picked up a copy of the Times

vbus/sfx, hope you have fun at Kew today! We're off to the ILs, they're going to do an easter egg hunt there. Now they write the names on them after one of the cousins (who's 7) ran ahead of everyone & got all the eggs last year!!

Dusty, hope you didn't get called into work, how did ds2's haircut go??

vbus nice to see you and the boys we were dashing around collecting tokens on what seemed to be a timed mission, ended up staying until after 3pm managed to catch sun and hail so we got our money's worth

DS2's hair is like Ringo Starr! We have his baby curls tucked safely away in an envelope.

DS1 stuck his own chopped locks onto some double sided sticky tape, to make a moustache like Daddy's

Sfx - Disneyland have to say I loved it as an adult when I went to the one in Florida at the age of 23!

Vbus - I went to the Disneyworld in Florida about 20 years ago . I was going to say about the same time as you. Clearly not, as I'm not a spring chicken anymore.

While I enjoyed it, the queues were unbelievable.
