Is anyone else doing a FET in Spetember?
I have got one good quality embryo and going to implant in September.
Anyone else doing the same? Would be good to chat to help with all this waiting!!

Hi @Coffeechocolatebooks123 I am having a full IVF cycle in September, had previous FET that have all ended in early miscarriage, so starting again, slightly different to your current circumstances but happy for you to offload or ask questions as have been through just the FET recently

So sorry for your loss, I hope you are ok. Did you have one blastocyst from your previous cycle?

@Coffeechocolatebooks123 from my last cycle I had 4 so had 2 double transfers one in December one in may unfortunately both transfers resulted in early miscarriage. We had decided that was the end of the road, busy decided to have one last shot so September it is
Is this your first FET? Did you have a fresh transfer previously

So sorry. Did you get those embryos PGT tested? What grade were they?
It is my first FET. My clinic recommended frozen as I initially has 22 eggs so they were worried about my recovery afterwards.
When are you due to start your next round?

No I didn't get them tested stupidly they were all top grades but for some reason they didn't stick
I'm due to start around the 3rd of September

Hey everyone, hoping I can join! Had a fresh transfer in Jan which failed, FET in April which resulted in MMC and now getting ready to go again! Starting provera on Tuesday so guessing mid September for transfer

When is your period due? Has your embryo been PGT tested?

So sorry for your loss. I still havent had my consultation with my doctor, so unsure about exact timings. Are you following a similar protocol to your previous two?

I think I’m due on the 19th. Usually on time but watch this be the one time it isn’t! No we haven’t done any PGT testing but if this one doesn’t work I think we will have our remaining embryos tested.

@Kr0 @Coffeechocolatebooks123 thank you! I’m not sure exactly but I think it’s the same, I haven’t had any consultation yet, just know I have to start provera on Tuesday and then I have a scan a week later so I guess I’ll get more info then.

how are you guys feeling about it all?

I feel like I was so excited the first time and I don’t feel that this time round. But I think by the time it comes round I will be. It’s hard because I don’t want to get my hopes up

Hey, I'm due to transfer on 8th September if my period plays ball. This will be my first FET after MMC in March. I feel the same, after 3 miscarriages it's hard to stay positive.

I’m the same, don’t feel excited at all this time and just kind of feel like I want it out the way. But there’s still a little bit of me that feels hopeful 😩

Hello all! Have my consultation in a little over two weeks to discuss a protocol for my first FET providing I get some blasts this week! Currently have 8 fertilised and have everything crossed that we end up with some blasts! 🤞

Hope it all goes well!! I really want my period to start so I can start my FET cycle! It is meant to start in 8 days and is going soooo slow.

@Coffeechocolatebooks123 thank you! Time just goes so slowly doesn’t it? Time seems to be moving so slowly for me as well! 3 more days until we hear if we have blasts and it’s been the slowest few days! 🤞 Hope your period arrives soon!

Will you have your embryos PGT tested?

@Coffeechocolatebooks123 no not planning to get them tested. Did you get yours tested?

Yes, I had two embryos, one was grade 5ba and that was normal and one that was 3bc that had abnormal chromosomes... I really really hope this one embryo sticks. Currently buying pineapple juice, pomegranate juice and so many vitamin tablets 😅

I think some of us are on a similar path.
we did our first egg collection last week, my progesterone was borderline on trigger day so they told my before the procedure it would likely be better for us to do a frozen transfer, unless we had embryos that were too weak to freeze.

Counting down to the bleed to end this cycle now, this is my first go so unsure if it will be my normal 27-29 days or different due to the medication.

@AlmostTime I think my bleed started about 6 days after my EC but I hadn’t been taking progesterone as I did a freeze all.

I started my bleed today so first day of my meds for this FET cycle tomorrow.
